I updated my Shiny Days article and reposted it on my new personal blog. Updates include legal specifics from a JAST representative as well as information on the Starless content restoration patch. Why I endorse JAST's censorship of Shiny Days One of the advantages of hosting articles on my own blog is that I can do updates like this without having to jump through hoops with editors at other establishments. Shiny Days is slated for release on August 25th, which is fast approaching. Hard copies are limited due to a reduced print run this time around, so make sure you reserve a copy if you want one. Expect the download to be ~15GB in size, so having a hard copy around might not be a bad idea.

Sorry i havent posted any new updates its been a busy time for us Our son turned 3 on Friday the 10th and todays Krills Dads Birthday and on the 24th is Krills Birthday ( he will be 35 for those who will ask lol ) There really havent been any changes other than the new medication from the Neurologist is helping a bit and he now needs to go for Physical therapy along with the Speech therapy 3 times a week For those who have Skype you may private message me and we can set up some times and days for Krill to Skype with you on my account because i have a cam and he doesnt on his pc He needs all the speech and interaction he can get right now with his friends Hope you are all doing well!

No, you didn't hear wrong, they pretty much said they'd announce something if you took what they said at face value. But I was always skeptical because you can never take what they say at face value. What they said is that they had announcements at AX and Comic Con, what they meant to say was that they'd be at those shows and would also have announcements. They've already made those announcements at AX. They haven't said anything about Otakon yet. Don't worry, figuring out what JAST's apocalyptically bad PR actually intends to say is an acquired skillset.

I got the idea of this post after finishing Bioshock Infinite + DLC. My brain was all over the screen after witnessing all of the events that happenned at the end. So let's discuss this or share other mind blowing endings/plot twists that happened in other games.

Recently I finally decided to start up a Youtube channel for music in general. I've recently uploaded my first video on Youtube, and it's for all the J-Jazz people out there, featuring a little known artist Pomodorosa. Hence, I made a 30 minute min mix on my favorite songs by her. Support MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE by giving it a shot and also Pomodorosa because she really really really needs it. This is just a suggestion, for those who read untranslated... basically, every three months, I suggest a list of five VNs (each from a different genre or type) that those who read untranslated pick from. These will all be VNs I've read before (I don't believe in suggesting VNs I haven't played before) and my recommendations will be based - after the first quarter - on what the members of the club think might be interesting. The first rule is that any genre that is picked can't be picked twice in a row... mostly because chuunige, moege, and gameplay-VNs all have their passionate followers who will vote their candidates in every time, lol. The second rule is that it has to be a VN from my vndb list. I can't recommend something if I haven't played it, and I'll at least consider anything from that list. Feel free to make a case for your favorite VN (untranslated). If it looks interesting, I'll endeavor to add it to my random VNs, play it, then consider it for the list of candidates. Nukige and rapegames are out of the question. This is simply a matter of practicality... because those aren't really fit for the average reader. Try to keep reading levels within reasonable limits... I won't suggest Dies Irae or Bradyon Veda unless there is a request, for instance, because their difficulty levels are too forbidding for the average reader. For the purposes of this thread, nakige and 'normal' moege/charage will be considered to be separate genres. Fantasy and sci-fi will not be considered to be separate genres... mostly because about sixty-percent of all non-nukige VNs have some kind of fantasy element in them. If all the members of the club who are reading/playing finish the chosen VN early, we can start a new round early. Double-listings (multiple VNs, for those who can't bring themselves to play certain genres) will be considered, if the group is large enough. If you have suggestions, please feel free to post them now... my current list of candidates are Haruka ni Aogi, Uruwashi no (nakige) Yurikago yori Tenshi Made (chuunige) Tasogare no Sinsemilla (general VN/story-focused) Harumade Kururu (mindfuck) Ikusa Megami Zero (gameplay/rpg) Edit: Aaah... incidentally, I won't be voting during any of these. By putting these VNs up here I'm basically saying I'm perfectly happy replaying them or have played them recently enough to discuss them in detail, lol. I'm interested to see which one gets chosen.

Daiteikoku's gameplay is infuriating. The game rewards blitzkrieg tactics but various events force you to stall for time (if you want to pursue certain routes), causing the player to get stuck in a stalemate that's incredibly irksome to overturn. I quit midway through because I just became exasperated.

Confession, I did just now had a meeting with a person from Finland and the other one from Russia. The contrasts in English are huge. I consider myself pretty good at understanding English but this Russian guy was really hard to comprehend. I had serious problem and when you are having a meeting about a complex system error it isn't the most fun thing in the world. But I managed anyway. And my prejudices of Russians from Dota 2 are still intact. The Russian accent is special but I got nothing against them except when they are talking in Russian on an English language server.

I got in my blood the urge to read something chuuni last night, so I started up Demonbane and it seems I've accidently gotten myself hooked on it. I'm part way through chapter 2 so far. I'm really digging it, which is no surprise since given its kickass setting and premise. Really liking the game's soundtrack too. Will be reading some more tonight. I'll hopefully knock out Isuzu's route sometime tomorrow or so.

learning remembering the kanji helps you when you actually need to study the kanji itself later on or with vocabulary, my advice is dont study each kanji onyomi and kunyomi reading or you will be insane after learning 300 xD (if you even can remember them all), learn vocabulary instead and by doing that you will be learning onyomi and kunyomi reading at the same time, for example 大好き <---- だいすき onyomi reading 大きい <--- おおきい kun reading , 大切 <--たいせつ, another on reading, and so by learning vocabulary (all this words are from N5 level) you already know almost the whole kanji on and kun reading (the onyomi should be in katakana but dont mind that)

Okay, stream report: Died around 10 times total. Something like seven times to the boss and the other ones to random mobs because I was tilting. Had to decline three guys who wanted/offered to play with me because I don't have the Playstation Plus thing. Got Ren salty because he gets no viewers when he streams games. (Get rekt you scrub ) Realized that I seriously need to git gud. Brother restarted our internet in the middle of the stream, production value at its finest. All in all, it was really enjoyable. Thanks everyone who watched and participated on the chat, it made streaming really fun.

Man the prose in RuiTomo. <3 Tomo is a really convincing trap, haha - especially that voice acting, damn. Cointidentally, I've also started a VN by Hino yesterday - Hello Lady!. The presentation in the prologue was very nice, but the engrish... ouch. Now I just have to see if I have the willpower to push myself through the rest of KonoSora or just get on Hello Lady! instead completely.
