Confession: I wrote another review and I need attention

Well, with Ryechu editing the game I have plenty of faith it will read like cohesive English, however, I still will be doubtful on its entertainment value. But guys, never forget, it could be worse, it could be AJTilley.com, I think we need to appreciate Winged Cloud a bit for not being the lowest of the lowest. Having played Sakura Swim Club, I know the games are crap, but I still honestly don't think they're 1/10 crap, just below average/meh with bad fan service. I also think the artist for Sakura Santa and Sakura Beach is way better than their previous artist, so that's always a plus.

Of course. Katawa Shoujo is not a perfect game, but it is a labour of love for sure. The story is engaging, has an okay protagonist (depends on the route I guess), the art is adorable and the music... A+ The best thing about KS for me personally were the H-scenes. They are very respectful towards the girls, which (in my experience) is a rarity for an eroge, even though it's an OELVN. As far as OELVN's go, it's probably still the golden standard, along with Dysfunctional Systems and the like.

I was the one who did the editing for this title, as well as Sakura Swim Club, for Mangagamer. I won't have proof until my Editor's Corner for this title is published, so all I can ask is that you take my word for the time being. For those who are unaware, my twitter is @JRyechuR, which is also how I sign all of my stuff~. Anyway, I really do hope you guys get some enjoyment out of the game. Editing these is actually pretty fun, and if you like lighthearted stories with a little bit of ecchi, hopefully you'll have some fun with this title. I'm always open to suggestions for improvement, but there are certain rules I have to follow. My main task is to improve readability and try to add some fun to it. I hope that you'll at least take a chance with it!

Sanzen Sekai Yuugi is pretty much the only otomege I've played where the protagonist isn't a sufferer of DIDS (damsel-in-distress syndrome) to one degree or another. Asaki Yumemishi was a bit better than the usual ruck of otomege, but it still had a lot of 'classic otomege' moments. Sanzen Sekai Yuugi is pretty violent though, and the protagonist is a katana-wielding bounty hunter who tends to bring in her targets dead more often than alive. It isn't an otomege, but this: https://vndb.org/v8311 is really, really good if you can get past the prologue without puking. The protagonist starts out as a slave in the worst sense of the word and gradually - over the course of several centuries - becomes a strong woman with a long, wide streak of independence. Yes, she gets raped (nothing from this company could possibly have it any other way), but the worst of that is early on. I played it on a recommendation (an insistent one) and I didn't regret it, though the beginning is pretty freaky.

WHAT THE FUCK

If what's rumored to be happening happens, then it actually might I, too, enjoy the anime FL: Image Not Found. FL:INF is a 10/10 masterpiece that stands with the best of the best, like Sword Art Online and Issho ni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako.

I kinda casually decided to re-read Fate/stay night, so I went and just read the Fate-route. I was curious how F/sn would stand now that I've read considerably more VNs, and I wanted to know how much the Realta Nua content improves it. To my surprise I think I enjoyed F/sn more now than back then. I definitely appreciated the narration better, Shirou wasn't annoying anymore, and I had even forgotten how impressive the visuals and visual effects were. Or maybe I just rekindled my love for an old favorite and took pleasure from noticing all kinds of small details that went over me the first time through. Either way Fate/stay night is still amazing, The Realta Nua additions are also really nice, especially new music and H-scene replacements. I always thought the dragon everyone was talking about was some kind of joke, but it was legit pretty impressive. I've been also reading the Tiger Dojo skits for the first time, as I skipped them for some reason when I first read F/sn. And oh boy what I've missed, there's some ingenious humor there.

Heck, I may get Sakura Santa just for that purpose. I'll probably buy it from Mangagamer if I do, so I'd probably get a Steam key for it. But if I give away the Steam key, I can't collect the cards...

I quite agree, I've only tried one of them (I think it was swim club) and it was definately not my kind of thing nor what i could consider a good Vn but i won't bash it...just isn't my type of thing...i'm sure people out there enjoy Sakura games...right? some people do anyways haha.

Well summer of 2017 is still a very long time away so I may try reading the visual novel before then. But when it does come out, if the animations are as good as something like Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade works, then I might end up watching it just to see the epic fight scenes.

Confession: We had a class-wide Christmas raffle (you buy a gift for the person you choose) and I just realized the book I bought (Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years Of Pilgrimage) has some weird sex scenes in it. In my defense, I don't know the girl well at all and her best friend told me to "go freestyle" when I talked to her for advice. I guess that friend dislikes me or something. I just pray the girl I bought the present for doesn't like books and turns it in for a CD or something now. Confession 2: Today I met with a few friends from my summer camp. One of them knew the place very well (been going there for the last 2 years weekly for guitar lessons and I know jack shit in comparison), which was a bustling street -one of the biggest in the country- and took us to some sort of obscure, cafe-ish place. It was a nice place to be. That said, we saw a shit ton of cops when we first reached this street (the place is a hot spot for protests so that wasn't too weird), to which we paid little mind since we were busy with talking to each other and having tons of fun soon after. We had to leave that cafe though because we started to smell pepper gas (shit really gets to your nose), despite there being at least 150m between us and the said bustling street. I had fun

Do you have a source for that by any chance? It's not that I don't want to believe you, I'm just hesitant to accept it given their current relationship. I can see how they'd turn against him since he's in a position against Hillary though. Also, would the DNC support his campaign as senator even though he's been independent? Wouldn't they want to have people from their own party in that position? I'll have to hunt it down, but take into account that was almost 10 years ago in the 2006 election cycle. So really, is he an "Independent" if he goes through the trouble of running in primaries as an Democrat? It's pretty simple, really. He wins the Democratic nomination, doesn't accept it, leaving the Democrats with no nominee on the ballot, and he runs as an Independent, leaving no Democrat to split his votes. Why would the Democrats accept Sanders? Because he's pretty much a Democrat anyway, he votes with them, caucuses with them, even runs as one in primaries. The guy might come across as genuine about his policy beliefs, but make no mistake - he's a career politician who clearly has played nice with the Democratic Party for a couple decades, and to be honest, why wouldn't he? He HAD to play nice with them - they're the closest party to his political beliefs/agenda. It's a nice thought that an Independent would go into Washington and shake things up, the reality is if he went there truly as an Independent, he'd have few allies, no committee assignments, no backing for his Vermont projects and would basically be a very, VERY lonely Representative/Senator. That's not to say he's a horrible choice or anything, but the idea that he's some rogue independent candidate is a misnomer at best. Okay, I get it now. What you're saying does make sense to me, and I've done some extra reading on the net to confirm a little bit of what you're telling me. Haven't had any chances to try it again, but I will once I have a little more money.
