Hey everybody, I'm sorry that it's a week after my anticipated return date, and I'm still not up and running. I'm not sure if anybody posted about my RL issues, but I've been dealing with some crises and have been in and out of the hospital. I'm home now, and will plan on being online tonight to start catching up and getting to work. I haven't had a chance to read any posts or PMs, so if it seems like I'm ignoring something -- forgive me! I'll get to it tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for your patience and all the well-wishes people have sent my way, Tay6 points

Well I got one working. It's not the most beautiful thing ever, and honestly I don't recommend anyone to actually translate anything with this because it's ridiculously messily bad and the dump is 6MB so it's not very easy to navigate at all, but I'll put it out there anyway to encourage some proper devs to make better tools. Also I've only had the trial to work with, and it's extremely likely that there's going to be more opcodes in the full game, and I can't really do anything about that as I don't have (or really want to, sorry) get the game. http://pastebin.com/tWrzAdLM - For Python 2.7 (not 3.0+) Usage is "script.py <-e/-c> <filename>" -e to extract, -c to compile. Search the dump for "string" to find all the actual strings. Keep them to one line, the game uses automatic newlining, although it ignores spaces. To add a new string you'd need to add code like this (everything highlighted): But again, I'm not really putting this out as something to actually work with, just to hopefully have others make better tools. All the opcode definitions which is all you really need are all defined at the top of the script.2 points

is Dracu-Riot translated?
CruelN1N1 reacted to OriginalRen for a topic
Well, I guess now is the time to post what I have been up to in my spare time. A friend and I have been translating Miu's lines at a very slow pace for the sake of reading it. It has been translated and edited, and we have completed around 6000 or so lines (about 60% of the route). I am not going to promise it will get finished anytime soon, seeing as it's just for fun and something I felt like doing when we had some spare time, but if it does get done by the end of the year I will let you know and share it with everyone. Keep in mind I have no idea how to patch these lines into the game.1 point -

The bad news is that in a few weeks, Kosuna is going to the hospital, and is not likely to be able to work again for a long, long time. (hint hint) The good news is that he intends to see Miyako finished and given to me before he leaves, even if it'll mean there'll be a few translation errors here and there. (I'll probably ask GentleBlade for help with that, if he'd be so willing.)1 point -
id want a english localized pc release of harem tengoku da to omottara yandere jigoku datta (i thought it be harem heaven, but it turned out to be yandere hell) bonus points if they add h-scenes for the pc release but its not a must . http://vndb.org/v14536 the art looks great and character designs are beautiful. and it seems to be the best yandere game in recent years to hit the market .1 point

yashasupercow reacted to Christfall for a topic
You need to change both. If the time zone is not in Japanese the error will popup when it tries to load a sprite. Alternatively, just click this link, download the file, unzip it, place the exe in the game folder (but don't overwrite the old one) and just run it: http://kizuna.hoshimi.me/uploads/2011/05/World_fix.zip1 point -

Select "Region and Language" and then this box should appear: After that, just change the Format to Japanese. Edit: Wait, now that I read it again, it looks like Christfall said to change the time zone and not the format. If so, then it should be in the "Date and Time" settings. I thought he is talking about the format since he said to change the thing in the Region and Language settings. But he said to change the time zone in the Region and Language settings so I'm not really sure.1 point -

I went ahead and set up a dev version of the site on http://fuwanovel.info/ . Please note a few things: - This doesn't mean we're switching to that URL - People should be able to tell from a first glance that the state I had is fairly old, approx. end of last November - I'll use it to showcase some of the ongoing development being done, since that site runs independently from the actual (live) one - I'll start making changes which I already discussed with Tay first, afterwards will depend on how things progress in the meantime (new ideas/projects/priorities popping up) I might pick up my "dev blog thread" again to keep you guys informed.1 point -
MMM i quite like the pacing they have taken this time it feels a lot less rushed and in all honesty the info dumps come over a lot more naturally now. then again i have a personal preference for things that are not in a haste and take thier time to do the worldbuilding properly. wich is one of the the things the new SAO has been doing in all these episodes worldbuilding and setting up characters with a proper personallity. So i think this season is a lot better then the previous. the problem lies with people not having the patience and wanting to see the grand finale as soon as possible.1 point

Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo and Wind-a breath of heart- and good places to start too. Yume Miru Kusuri - A Drug That Makes You Dream is nice but it's a bit on the dark side so if you do start make sure you have some Charmin ultra soft for those tears. <-( product placement level: Micheal Bay)1 point -

Welcome! After looking at your profile it seems like we can become good friends someday First of Chiruchiru is the best girl, ever. It seems like you may agree with that, I mean does there have to be any other reason? But there is that Kuroneko figure which I plan to buy in the coming months... So there is a second reason! On a side note what kind of music do you make? I love music and almost every genre I can get into. Music can express so many stories, emotions, and connect people whats not to love?1 point -

yashasupercow reacted to Christfall for a topic
You need to change the time zone to Japanese as well in the regional and language settings and it shall get rid of the error. It is a common issue in all of Favorite's games (not just Irosekai) but this is a universal solution to them all. There is also a patch that will also solve the issue (but for this one game only) but I'll need some time to find it, will update this post later if you still need it.1 point -

If you don't mind a heavily opinionated protagonist, you might want to try Grisaia no Kajitsu. I'd also suggest G-senjou no Maou (not really my thing, but it is really popular). Might want to check out Ef or Katahane as well.1 point

Fate/Stay Night Realta nua PC full patch - Is it worth it?
crunchytaco reacted to Beato for a topic
Realta Nua includes tons of very cool effects that weren't possible to put into F/SN with the old Realta Nua patch. The CGs in the PC version are also in natural 800x600 resolution while the one's in the old patch are lower because they were ripped from the ps2 ver It is absolutely worth it. The version on Fuwa is going to be updated as soon as they are done with the route merge patch (because in the Realta Nua pc version the routes were split into 3 separate games. They are going to create a patch to merge them together.)1 point -

Grisaia no Kajitsu Licensed by Sekai Project Summary Mihama Academy - on the surface, a closed learning environment established to nurture students who find themselves at odds with the world around them; in actuality, an orchard-cum-prison built to preserve fruit that has fallen too far from its tree. Whatever the circumstances behind its establishment, Mihama Academy is at present home to five female students, all with their own reasons for "enrollment." For better or worse, each girl has established a routine obliging of her current situation; life moves at an idle, yet accommodating pace within the walls of Mihama. Yet with the arrival of the institute's first male student, the nearly preposterously opaque Kazami Yuuji, the students at Mihama begin to fall out of step with their predetermined rhythms. Will Yuuji prove to be the element the girls around him needed to take hold of their lives once more, or will the weight of their pasts prove too steep a wall to overcome? And in the first place, just who is Kazami Yuuji? While the true nature of the "job" he is wont to alight to at the most haphazard of moments remains shrouded in secrecy, one thing is for certain - his encroachment upon the quiet orchard known as Mihama Academy will prove itself momentous in one way or another. And of course, one cannot discount the possibility that perhaps Yuuji himself carries the weightiest past of any of the students... Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order The game has a similar structure to G-Senjou no Maou in that its plot branches into a heroine's route at certain choices, although each of them is valid in its own as there's no true end. After entering a heroine's route the choices boil down to a single one for good/bad end. Following the flow of the story and entering each route as soon as you encounter them would lead to the following order: Makina -> Amane -> Sachi -> Michiru -> Yumiko. That said, Route Guideline Amane Good End Bad End Makina Good End Bad End Michiru Good End Bad End Sachi Good End Bad End Yumiko Good End Bad End Attribution A mysterious source. Aaeru formatted the original version of this post. It has since been updated and reworked several times by various staff members and admins.1 point

Hoshizora no Memoria - Wish Upon A Shooting Star
Kuroki_satou reacted to Skeith for a topic
Hoshizora no Memoria Wish Upon A Shooting Star Licensed by Sekai Project The story begins with the protagonist, Kogasaka You, moving back to his hometown, which he left behind several years ago. Upon arriving, he stumbles into an abandoned, sealed observatory, whereupon he encounters a mysterious girl who looks exactly like his childhood friend did years ago. She introduces herself as Mare, a shinigami who reaps nightmares. Meanwhile, back at school, You ends up joining the astronomy club, which is desperate need of new members. At night, he continues to visit Mare at the observatory, all the while trying to remember a certain someone's name. In 'Hoshizora no Memoria - Wish Upon A Shooting Star', the protagonist can fall in love with one of the seven heroines in the game. They are as follows: Minahoshi Asuho, Hisakaki Komomo, Hisakaki Kosame, Aoi Isuzu, Kogasaka Chinami, Ototsu Yume, and Mare S. Ephemeral. Ending Guide At the beginning of the game, only three of the seven heroines' routes are available. You will have to unlock the rest by playing through the first three's routes. The three available routes at the beginning of the game are Asuho, Komomo, and Isuzu's. After finishing Komomo's route, Kosame's will be unlocked. After finishing Isuzu's route, Chinami's will be unlocked. After finishing Asuho, Komomo, Kosame, Isuzu, and Chinami's routes, a secret heroine's route will be unlocked. Finally, you have to finish every heroines' routes before Mare's route can be unlocked. In order to fully immerse, enjoy, and understand the visual novel, it is the author's recommendation that you follow this order for clearing the routes: **Please note that the choices you see below are choices that the author made, you may be able to choose another choice and still arrive at the same route.** Route Walkthrough Asuho Minahoshi Komomo Hisakaki Kosame Hisakaki Aoi Isuzu Chinami Kogasaka Secret Heroine Mare S.
