If you could bring any VN / VN Series to the West, what series would it be?

Any. I'm thinking Type-Moon myself...merely because Nasu is so Anti-West, that it'll never happen, so it's to me the one series that would literally take a miracle. Seems crazy to me, thinking how popular, how much money his series makes, the whole Fate Franchise, and he refuses to license Official Western translation as he believes all languages besides Japanese to be inferior.

The Alchemist version of Higurashi Sui. The multiple routes of the VN is undeniably appropriate for a story like Higurashi, where parallel universes are involved (ala Clannad). It's a bad joke that we can't get that because of copyright reasons between Alchemist and 07th Expansion.

In fact, the main reason why I attempted (emphasis on "attempt") to pick up Japanese around a year ago was because of the PS2 version of Higurashi, of which the multiple routes were incorporated into the DS version, and eventually, Higurashi Sui. I can't remember how long I've been wanting to read the story in this manner, but never could because of the language barrier.

Plus, the theme songs produced by Alchemist for Higurashi are amazing. I've replayed them for many times over the past few years.

the konchuu saga from cyclet, there is a lack of sex with insects VNs in the western market that I find disturbing.

In terms of porn fetish games like this, I would love for Rasen Kairou to be brought over as well. :sachi: This is exactly what America the western world needs.

isaku/shuusaku/kisaku to make them die-hard feminists know their place.
aside from those plus some untranslatable ones it´s Be-Yond, yep, wish all people would accept its hillarious glory for themselves and start enjoying life.

edit: dont think rasen kairou1-2 are that much fetish oriented, sure them chicks are getting abducted and whatsnot, but the series main focus lies more on the who and why. not saying these are bad titles, as i love the latter one to death.

I really want to read Sayonara o Oshiete. The color palette looks really interesting and the story is right up my alley, as someone who really likes horror and denpa.

Was going to suggest this one too. Adding to what you said, I think its one of those few VNs that truly takes advantage of being both a VN and an Eroge. If the story were done in any other medium, it just would not be as good. Furthermore, the fucked up sex scenes actually add to the totally insane environment that the VN sets up.

There are routes in higurashi sui? I hope they didn't change the original chapters.

I'm not sure on the details, but from what I heard, I think they basically separated the chapters into multiple routes. It's like the individual fragments in the story. I'm not sure whether some routes need certain requirements to unlock or not though. My guess is that you would probably still have to play them in order

Depends on whether you mean official localization or just being readable in English.

Localization: Remember11, no contest. Ever17 (the most popular VN in the Infinity series) WAS officially localized, but it needs to be reprinted/digitally sold (copies now go for $200+), so I guess that counts as well. Never7 would be amazing to get them all too. Hell also translate the PSP releases and put them up on PSN.

Translation: 12Riven since Nakazawa and (/or?) Uchikoshi worked on it, and it was almost translated before Lemnisca became an official localization company. Besides that, a non-Americanized localization of Kamaitachi no Yoru and its sequels would be fucking wonderful. Isolated space murder mystery? Ooooohhhhh yes.

There's also this interesting thing called Shin Hayarigami.
