During April and first half of May I went to Japan again. This time I bought less games than last year - only 3 PS2 VNs However I brought back much more music in analog formats - 12 records and 8 cassettes, I also got a cute portable tape recorder from 1968:

No, it isn't dead yet I will finish it someday, although have to admit - currently it's stalled.

Keep in mind Nukitashi has a Steam version that cut it down from 40+ hours to about an hour or two at most...so where there's a will, there's a way. But yeah, it'll probably be ridiculous on Steam.

Could someone help me, I'm trying to edit the text of the english release of STARLESS. Extracting the data is simple enough, but altering the text is proving difficult, textractor++ messes with the coding/arrangement so I hopped over to arc_conv and the subprogram text_conv to convert the .mjo files into .txt files, but when I try to revert them back to .mjo files they end up completely empty. Nothing could approach the level of Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2 . Other curiosity is One Punch Man 2nd Season . 1. Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 鬼滅の刃 [ufotable] (Finished 3/26) Tags: Shounen Historical Action, Award Winning, Fantasy Ever since the death of his father, the burden of supporting the family has fallen upon Tanjirou Kamado's shoulders. Though living impoverished on a remote mountain, the Kamado family are able to enjoy a relatively peaceful and happy life. One day, Tanjirou decides to go down to the local village to make a little money selling charcoal. On his way back, night falls, forcing Tanjirou to take shelter in the house of a strange man, who warns him of the existence of flesh-eating demons that lurk in the woods at night. When he finally arrives back home the next day, he is met with a horrifying sight—his whole family has been slaughtered. Worse still, the sole survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a bloodthirsty demon. Consumed by rage and hatred, Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and stay by his only remaining sibling. Alongside the mysterious group calling themselves the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjirou will do whatever it takes to slay the demons and protect the remnants of his beloved sister's humanity. It's just a pretty drawn shounen. I seriously don't understand the appeal of shounens. Tried to watch some anime podcasts about it, and argumentation there was rather bleak, mostly about aesthetics and fighting scenes. Overall Rating: 6/10 2. Even after the outer gate is plugged, they strangely encounter no opposition. But during the first meeting with these potential newcomers, a mysterious man calling himself Garou makes his appearance. Claiming to be a monster, he starts mercilessly attacking the crowd. The mysterious Garou continues his rampage against the Hero Association, crushing every hero he encounters. He turns out to be the legendary martial artist Silverfang's best former disciple and seems driven by unknown motives. Regardless, this beast of a man seems unstoppable. Intrigued by this puzzling new foe and with an insatiable thirst for money, Saitama decides to seize the opportunity and joins the interesting martial arts competition. As the tournament commences and Garou continues his rampage, a new great menace reveals itself, threatening the entire human world. Could this finally be the earth-shattering catastrophe predicted by the great seer Madame Shibabawa? Sequel. Overall Rating: 7/10 4. Fruits Basket 1st Season フルーツバスケット [TMS Entertainment] (Finished 1/25) Tags: Shoujo Love Polygon, School Drama, Romance, Supernatural Tooru Honda has always been fascinated by the story of the Chinese zodiac that her beloved mother told her as a child. However, a sudden family tragedy changes her life, and subsequent circumstances leave her all alone. Tooru is now forced to live in a tent, but little does she know that her temporary home resides on the private property of the esteemed Souma family. Stumbling upon their home one day, she encounters Shigure, an older Souma cousin, and Yuki, the "prince" of her school. Tooru explains that she lives nearby, but the Soumas eventually discover her well-kept secret of being homeless when they see her walking back to her tent one night. Things start to look up for Tooru as they kindly offer to take her in after hearing about her situation. But soon after, she is caught up in a fight between Yuki and his hot-tempered cousin, Kyou. While trying to stop them, she learns that the Souma family has a well-kept secret of their own: whenever they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex, they transform into the animals of the Chinese zodiac. Kenja no Mago Wise Man's Grandchild 賢者の孫 [SILVER LINK.] (Finished 3/12) Tags: Isekai, Reincarnation Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Romance In the kingdom of Earlshide, Merlin Wolford was once regarded as a national hero, hailed for both his power and achievements. Preferring a quiet life however, he secludes himself deep in the rural woods, dedicating his time to raising an orphan that he saved. This orphan is Shin, a normal salaryman in modern-day Japan who was reincarnated into Merlin's world while still retaining his past memories. As the years pass, Shin displays unparalleled talent in both magic casting and martial arts, much to Merlin's constant amazement. On his 15th birthday, however, it becomes apparent that Shin only developed his combat skills and nothing else, leaving him with blatant social awkwardness, a lack of common sense, and a middling sense of responsibility. As a result, Shin enrolls in the kingdom's Magic Academy to hone his skills and mature among other teenagers. However, living a normal life is impossible, as he is established as a local celebrity almost as soon as he arrives. As Shin Wolford adjusts to his high school life in the capital, he makes new friends, learns about the world, and fights off the various forces of evil surrounding him and his city. Very mundane and typical magic university start with noname cliché characters don't leave this anime a chance. Overall Rating: 5/10 7. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai We Never Learn: BOKUBEN ぼくたちは勉強ができない [Silver, Arvo Animation] (Finished 4/13) Tags: Shounen Harem, School Comedy, Romance Nariyuki Yuiga, an impoverished third-year high school student, works tirelessly to receive the VIP nomination, a scholarship that would cover all of his college tuition fees. In recognition of his hard work, the headmaster awards him the renowned scholarship. However, this scholarship is given under one condition: he must tutor the school's geniuses in their weakest subjects! Joining his new brigade of pupils are the math maestro Rizu Ogata, who wants to study humanities; the literature legend Fumino Furuhashi, who wants to study science; and Yuiga's sports-savvy childhood friend, Uruka Takemoto, who is hopeless at everything else. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai follows Yuiga as he tries to teach his three eccentric tutees in a series of strange and comedic antics. But as Ogata's and Furuhashi's ambitions conflict with their talents, will Yuiga be able to help his students achieve their dreams? It does not work for me unlike Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, because it's not clever and does not even have otaku tilt. Overall Rating: 6/10 8. Isekai Quartet 異世界かるてっと [Studio PuYUKAI] (Finished 1/12) Tags: Isekai, Parody Comedy, Fantasy It is a normal day; everyone from deranged military girl Tanya Degurechaff and 16-year-old isekai protagonist Satou Kazuma to expansionist overlord Ainz Ooal Gown and demon sisters Rem and Ram go on with their daily lives. Suddenly, a conspicuous red button begging to be pressed appears before them. Overcome by curiosity, the otherworldly characters push the button, sending them to an unfamiliar world. With no way of escaping, the characters must lead a normal school life and make acquaintances with the others. One thing is certain: the classroom full of fan-favorite eccentric personalities never gets boring! I can't appreciate and don't value chibi parodies. Overall Rating: 5/10 9. Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san The Helpful Fox Senko-san [Doga Kobo] (Finished 1/12) Tags: Iyashikei Slice of Life, Supernatural Like many hardworking members of the workforce, Kuroto Nakano is perpetually stressed out by his job. Still, since he lives alone, he must carry on to sustain himself. Little do humans like Kuroto know, this stress takes the form of darkness residing within a person's body and will bring one's life to ruin. Fox deities can see this darkness and have the duty to save people before it is too late. To help rid Kuroto of his stress, Senko-san, an eight hundred-year-old foxgirl, volunteers to take care of him, and will do everything she can to ease the tension in his weary soul. Absolutely uselesess fetish flick. Overall Rating: 5/10 10. Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? なんでここに先生が!? [Tear Studio] (Finished 1/12) Tags: Seinen School Comedy, Ecchi Second year high school student Ichirou Satou has always been an average person—that is, until he runs into some not-so-average situations with his teacher, Kana "The Demon" Kojima. Kojima is Satou's Japanese language teacher with a reputation for being so ruthless that even school delinquents bow down to her. One fateful day, things escalate when Satou runs into Kojima in the restroom, leading them to share an intimate encounter that makes his imagination run wild for days after. Nande Koko ni Sensei ga? follows the daily life of Satou and his teacher as they continue to meet under similar conditions, growing ever closer with each encounter. Just another short episode length ecchi for those still in puberty. Overall Rating: 5/10 11. Carole & Tuesday キャロル&チューズデイ [Bones] (Finished 24/24) Tags: Music Drama, Sci-Fi It has been 50 years since mankind began its migration to the terraformed Mars, where they live in comfort due to advancements in AI. Carole lives in the metropolis of Alba City, working part-time by day and playing keyboard by night. Tuesday has run away from her home in Hershell City to escape the grip of her wealthy family, and instead hopes to pursue music with her acoustic guitar. After a fateful encounter, the two decide to perform music together. Up against the AI singers that dominate the music world, the two of them believe that together they can convey their feelings through their songs. Will hard work and luck be enough for the duo to create the biggest miracle that Mars has ever seen? Musical with actually good songs, but characters are flat and not developing, and everything just happens on its own. Protagonists come from polarized circumstances, but after couple episodes they act just like manzai duo with synchronized reactions. And just the fact that everyone always listens songs in awe with mounths open is so irritating. I'm not enjoying it, can't do anything about it. Only glimples of former Watanabe magic is present here at moments. Overall Rating: 6/10 12. Kono Oto Tomare! Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life この音とまれ！ [Platinum Vision] (Finished 10/13) Tags: Shounen Music, Performing Arts, School Drama, Romance Gen Kudou, a koto maker, believes that his delinquent grandson Chika would never understand the profoundness of the traditional musical instrument. In an attempt to make up for his naivety and understand the words of his late grandfather, Chika tries to join the Tokise High School Koto Club. Even though the club is in dire need of members, new club president Takezou Kurata is unwilling to easily accept Chika's application due to his bad reputation. Nonetheless, after seeing Chika's seriousness and enthusiasm, Takezou allows the problem child to join, along with koto prodigy Satowa Houzuki and three of Chika's energetic friends. Kono Oto Tomare! follows the merry band of musicians as they aspire to play at the national competition. It plays safely and uses all the best practice when approaching school club and shoujo and characters. As a result it's an artificial accustomed experience for those who can recognize used past works. Avoid if looking for fresh view or experience as there's hardly anything genuine here. Overall Rating: 6/10 13. Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyou ga Dekinai Ao-chan Can't Study! 淫らな青ちゃんは勉強ができない [SILVER LINK.] (Finished 3/12) Tags: Shounen School Comedy, Romance, Ecchi "Show them your A-O face!" As an innocent child, Ao Horie would unhesitantly proclaim the origins of her name. Now that she is in high school, she is determined to study hard in order to one day escape the influence of her lascivious father, a famous erotic author. However, when the amiable Takumi Kijima confesses to Horie, her mind runs wild with scandalous thoughts. Moans eager to escape, legs crossing, and a warmth spreading through her body, Horie cannot help but misconstrue Kijima's rather pure motivations. To make things worse, no matter how hard she tries to ward off Kijima, his advances do not stop. Now, if only she could just study! A whole series based on groundless puberty fantasies and misinterpretations grows boring very fast. Overall Rating: 5/10 14. Zoku Owarimonogatari 続・終物語 [Shaft] (Finished 1/6) Tags: Vampire Comedy, Mystery, Supernatural Graduation day is finally here, marking the end of Koyomi Araragi's eccentric high school life full of peculiar relationships with otherworldly beings. However, Araragi is unexpectedly absorbed into his own bathroom mirror and trapped inside a bizarre world where everything he knows is completely reversed—the haughty Karen Araragi is shorter than usual, poker-faced Yotsugi Ononoki is brimming with emotion, and cute ghost girl Mayoi Hachikuji is a grown woman! But not everything is as it seems. Zoku Owarimonogatari details the story of Araragi's endeavors in this new world as he struggles to return to his home and understand the nature of this bizarre dimension. Sequel. Overall Rating: 6/10 15. Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu ひとりぼっちの○○生活 [C2C] (Finished 3/12) Tags: Shounen CGDCT, School Comedy Many of us know what it is like to transition to a new school with few to no friends in a new environment, going through the arduous process of getting to know people again. Bocchi Hitori knows this struggle all too well, having just graduated from elementary school and thrown into middle school. Unfortunately, she suffers from extreme social anxiety: she faints when overwhelmed, vomits when nervous, and draws up ridiculously convoluted plans to avoid social contact. It does not help that her only friend from elementary school, Kai Yawara, will not be attending the same middle school as Bocchi. However, wanting to help her, Kai severs ties with Bocchi and promises to reconcile with her when she befriends all of her classmates in her new middle school class. Even though Bocchi has no faith in herself, she is determined to be friends with Kai again. Summoning all of her courage, Bocchi takes on the daunting challenge of making friends with her entire class, starting with the delinquent-looking girl sitting in front of her... Occasionally ok CGDCT even though not finding it funny. The closest comparison in the past would be Yuru Yuri, but that wins in every aspect, so can't treat them even remotely equally. It's primarily a waste of time, so can be liked only if you're ok with that. Overall Rating: 6/10 16. Senryuu Shoujo Senryu Girl 川柳少女 [Connect] (Finished 2/12) Tags: Shounen Romantic Subtext, School Comedy To the students of Karai High School, Nanako Yukishiro is a pretty, calm, and cute 16-year-old. However, Nanako is no ordinary girl, as she cannot speak! Instead, Nanako communicates through senryuu—17-syllable-long poems. Sixteen-year-old Eiji Busujima used to be delinquent in his middle school years. However, he has since turned over a new leaf due to his newfound love of senryuu. Despite his menacing looks, Eiji gets along well with Nanako as a fellow member of the Literature Club. Even though Nanako is mute, the adorable pair have no problem communicating with each other. Senryuu Shoujo is a light and relaxing story of two teenagers' daily lives. Total boredom, flat characters, artificial extension through all this haiku nonsense, lack of any complexity. Overall Rating: 6/10 17. Fairy Gone Fairy gone フェアリーゴーン [P.A. Works] (Finished 12/12) Tags: Adult Cast, Military Action, Fantasy "Once upon a time, fairies were tools of war." The story takes place in a world where fairies possess and dwell in animals, giving them mysterious abilities. By removing the organs of a possessed animal and transplanting them into humans, fairies can be summoned as an alter ego and be used as a weapon. Such individuals who used fairies as war tools were called "Fairy Soldiers." Once the war was over and they completed their roles, the soldiers lost their purpose. Some began working for the government, some joined the mafia, and some even became terrorists, as each chose their own way to live. Nine years have passed since the war. The protagonist Mariya is a new recruit of "Dorothea," an organization which investigates and suppresses fairy-related crimes. Amidst the unstable political situation, criminals with lingering wounds from the war and past conflicts emerge and engage in terrorism as an act of revenge. This is the story of Fairy Soldiers, fighting for their own justice in a chaotic postwar world. I tried to like it when it was released, but it made very little sense and just threw supernatural fights in the 19th century like world all the time. Confusion was the only lasting impression out of it. Overall Rating: 5/10 18. Gunjou no Magmell Ultramarine Magmell 群青のマグメル [Pierrot Plus] (Finished 2/13) Tags: Shounen Super Power Action, Adventure, Fantasy A new era of exploration begins with the sudden appearance of a new continent known as Magmell. Magmell's vast trove of never-before-seen natural resources spurs on the exploration of its vast landscape. However, the unknown is not always docile. In order to sustain the expeditions, people known as "anglers" specialize in dealing with Magmell's dangerous wildlife. One such angler is the highly-skilled and experienced Inyou, who performs search and rescue operations for clients with the help of his assistant, Zero. Exploration superhero shounen episodic stories with pretense for some gore and cynism. Can't answer why continue watching it characters and stories are so unlikeable. Overall Rating: 5/10 19. Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World この世の果てで恋を唄う少女YU-NO [feel.] (Finished 26/26) Tags: Drama, Sci-Fi Takuya Arima is a young student whose father, a historian who has conducted various researches, disappeared recently. During a summer vacation Takuya receives a peculiar package from his missing father, along with a letter containing information about the existence of various parallel worlds. At first Takuya doesn't take it seriously, but soon he realizes that he possesses a device that allows him to travel to alternate dimensions. Is his father alive, after all? If so, where is he? Watched it initially as hommage to the first game. Former aesthetics were definitely more pleasant. Nice slow story for those who have not played the game, but for me it was not enjoyable. Overall Rating: 6/10 20. Sarazanmai さらざんまい [MAPPA, Lapin Track] (Finished 2/11) Tags: Anthropomorphic Action, Fantasy, Supernatural After the noble Kappa Kingdom falls to the Otter Empire, the Kappa prince Keppi loses much of his power and becomes helpless against the unseen Kapa-zombies. These zombies plague the world, and are the creations of the Otters and manifestations of people's deepest desires. With no other choice, Keppi must rely on three young boys: Kazuki Yasaka, who must carry a box with him wherever he goes; Enta Jinnai, Kazuki's childhood friend; and Tooi Kuji, a delinquent and a school truant. By having the mythical organ called a shirikodama removed from them, the boys are able to become Kappa themselves and fight the Kapa-zombies. However, to defeat them, the boys must connect with each other via their minds, bodies, and—most importantly—secrets. As the Kappa Kingdom relies on these boys, they must reveal themselves as they have never done before, all the while learning that connections are fragile and truly precious things. It should work for those who liked Mawaru Penguindrum. But for me it's just a mess full of nonsense. Overall Rating: 5/10 21. Diamond no Ace: Act II Ace of Diamond Act II ダイヤのA[エース] actII [Madhouse] (Finished 1/52) Tags: Shounen School, Team Sports The hallowed ground of Koshien Stadium is the "field of dreams," where the ambitions of high school baseball players come true. After emerging victorious in the autumn tournament last year, Seidou High School baseball's team has finally earned the right to compete there for the first time in seven years. Beyond the spring tournament looms the battle to decide who is the best team in the nation — the Summer Koshien. With the third-year players due to retire after the summer tournament, the team has to integrate the experience of the seniors and the potential of the newcomers to overcome familiar and new opponents alike and win the coveted national title. Meanwhile, pitcher Eijun Sawamura is as determined as ever to earn jersey No. 1 and seize the position of "ace" from his persistent rival, Satoru Furuya. As the team prepares for their greatest challenge yet, Sawamura and Furuya carry on their struggle to lead their team to glory and become the star of the game: the true "Ace of the Diamond." Sequel. Overall Rating: 5/10 22. Shoumetsu Toshi Afterlost 消滅都市 [Madhouse] (Finished 6/12) Tags: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery One day, a city suddenly disappears. Takuya, a professional by-the-contract courier and lone wolf, meets Yuki, the only survivor from the city's extinction. The two rely on a message from Yuki's father, who was heard to be missing, and head toward the disappeared city, Lost. However, unexpected obstacles strike before the pair, with the reality especially shocking for Yuki. Before them are the feelings of those left behind, a mysterious group manipulating in the shadows, and unveiling the hidden conspiracy. Takuya and Yuki, who both were initially strangers, would deepen their bond during the journey and unravel the mystery of the Lost city. I remember watching it around half way through, but mystery about running away is one of the worst genres for me. Overall Rating: 5/10 23. Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin Midnight Occult Civil Servants 真夜中のオカルト公務員 [LIDENFILMS] (Finished 1/12) Tags: Shoujo Adult Cast, Mythology, Workplace Fantasy, Mystery The Nocturnal Community Relations Division is a team of people who specialize in solving cases involving the ominous occult creatures of the night unseen by ordinary humans. Young and unsuspecting Arata Miyako has been assigned to the Shinjuku Ward Office of the division, where he meets his fellow members Theo Himezuka and Kyouichi Sakaki. On his first night, Arata finds himself on a mission where he discovers to his surprise that not only does every supernatural creature he once thought to be fictional actually exist, but also that he is the only human who can understand their non-human speech. Arata's surprises do not end there, as later that night, he meets a legendary creature called a Tengu that refers to him as the famous Heian-era exorcist, Abe no Seimei. Unfamiliar with the exorcist, Arata pays no mind and continues to work with his team, utilizing his unique ability to assist in the resolution of their cases. Mistaken by many occult creatures as Abe no Seimei and quickly becoming notorious for his special ability during his work, Arata becomes curious of his origins and invests himself more into solving cases regarding occult creatures he encounters once he learns of a certain connection between himself and the exorcist. However, Arata will quickly find that dealing with supernatural creatures is not as simple as he thought, as danger begins to play a fundamental role in his everyday findings and his ability starts to present an unexpected issue. It's almost impossible to interest me with occult mystery, but this one does not even try. Overall Rating: 5/10 24. RobiHachi ロビハチ [Studio Comet] (Finished 3/12) Tags: Space Adventure, Comedy, Sci-Fi Ever since they encountered aliens on the moon, humanity's technology has developed by leaps and bounds. Half a century later, even though most have it easy, Robby Yaji and Hacchi Kita cannot seem to catch a break in this advanced society. Robby—a man perpetually struck by misfortune—owes large sums of money to debt collectors due to his poor investments in shady get-rich-quick schemes, and Hacchi finds it difficult to get over the boredom of his mundane life. The two end up on an adventure of a lifetime when loan shark boss Yang sends Hacchi to collect the money Robby owes. Rather than pay up, Robby blasts off into space and heads to Isekandar, a planet that supposedly brings happiness to anyone who visits. Seeing a chance for some much needed excitement, Hacchi tags along with Robby on this journey filled with alien encounters, giant robot battles, and all sorts of troublemaking—all the while avoiding Yang and his cronies who are desperately combing the universe to find them. For those who want more after two seasons of Space Dandy. It's pretty random and crazy space travel. Not my definition of enjoyable pastime, but generally people seem to like Space Dandy and such. Though having an extraordinary skill as a pitcher, Touma no longer pitches due to a certain reason. Rather than allow such power to fall into the wrong hands, Takasugi plans to destroy the artifact, but having obtained it, the artifact is quickly stolen, forcing the pair to follow the mysterious thief to the seat of government in Kyoto. However, when they arrive in the capital, they discover that the government has been overthrown and the deity Susanoo now reigns in its place. The streets of the city and the people in them are much different than Takasugi and Katsura remembered. The times may have changed but their mission hasn't - Takasugi and Katsura resolve to reset time and save their nation from the nefarious forces trying to hijack it. Sequel. Overall Rating: 5/10 33. Now Kouji and Suiko must travel the parallel world -if- and watch as Magical Girls Emi Sendou and Shuka summon Vanguard units to help correct history. But here even plot is generic survival of group of strangers in alien environment. You've seen one of them - you've seen all of them. While he's showing Lily, his first tenant, around the house, she's suddenly attacked by a vampire named Vivian, and Yoshihito notices that Lily is actually a werewolf. As Yoshihito and Lily start living in the same house, Yoshihito is scouted for an organization that maintains order of the parallel universes, and strange creatures one after another become tenants in his house. Setup of cohabitation with rivaling girls is one of the oldest ones for otaku media. Can't call execution even prominent. Overall Rating: 5/10 41. Jue Ming Xiang Ying Deadly Response 绝命响应 [BUILD DREAM] (Finished 2/30) Tags: Mecha Action, Sci-Fi Deadly Response tells about the next 30 years. Human society uses a lot of ‘Robots’ Artificial Intelligence in their lives. For security reasons, in the East and West, humans also build islands specifically for robots. A mysterious team consisting of Robots and Humans must fight crime and terrorist attacks to keep security and peace between Humans and Robots. Full CGI. The Chinese can't produce a good cyberpunk concept, because there can't be high tech and low life in China. Everything must be high and everyone must be super strong, especially in melee combat. And it's all based on a simple revenge story, so it's just not worth invested time for me. Overall Rating: 5/10 42. Comrades in the previous battle were just ordinary humans. They think that they died in the attack of the black army, but it turns out he survived Full CGI. Two galactic nations confrontation with visuals being focus, so does not inspire or anything. Overall Rating: 5/10 43. A terrorist group calling themselves Mad Burnish has been causing havoc all over the nation. After an encounter with Mad Burnish leader Lio Fotia, Galo sets out on his fated journey to find the truth about these mutants, ultimately leading him to question everything he previously held to be true. A horrible ugly abstract mess with unremarkable plot. Overall Rating: 5/10 44. When an incident at practice leads to Ruka's exclusion from the handball team, she is forced to find other outlets to enjoy herself, eventually winding up at the aquarium where her father works. There, she meets Umi, a mysterious boy raised by dugongs who is being kept at the aquarium in order to research his strange water-dependent body. Ruka and Umi become fast friends, and the pair is soon joined by Sora, Umi's brother who also has an unusual relationship with the ocean. Together, the trio explore a dazzling undersea world while learning about a peculiar "festival" that all sea creatures around the world are preparing for. Unreasonable mystery plot with emotions probably being the focus here. It's unpleasant in every single way for me. Overall Rating: 5/10 46. Hakubo Twilight 薄暮 [Twilight Studio] (Finished 1/1) Tags: School Romance Hakubo revolves around the daily life of Sachi Koyama, a high school violinist with promising talent. Although Sachi is content with her school life and retains friends within the music club, her favorite pastime is appreciating the scenery around her neighborhood in Iwaki, Fukushima while walking to her bus stop alone. However, during one of Sachi's after-school walks, she has an unexpected meeting with Yuusuke Kijinami, a boy whom she often notices on her bus ride home. After offering to help Kijinami find a perfect view of the evening landscape—the subject of his next painting for his art club's exhibition—the two forge a bond over their mutual admiration of the beautiful scenery bathed in sunset. This chance encounter brings together these two souls who yearn to cherish the present, knowing full well how easily it can all slip away. A normal title about school musical club sounds really boring, and it kind of is even though the musical side mends things just a little bit for me. Still better adolescent love story than anything from Makoto Shinkai . Overall Rating: 6/10 48. Birthday Wonderland The Wonderland バースデー・ワンダーランド [Signal.MD] (Finished 1/1) Tags: Adventure, Fantasy The day before her birthday, Akane is asked to retrieve her birthday present from her aunt Chi's shop. While looking around, she chances upon a mysterious slab with a hand-shaped cavity in it. Curious, she places her hand in it, and—to her surprise—it fits perfectly. The next thing she knows, a strange alchemist named Hippocrates and his apprentice Pipo appear, calling Akane the legendary "Goddess of the Green Wind." The two eccentrics claim to be from a different world connected to the shop's basement. With the peace of their world in jeopardy, Hippocrates and Pipo seek the help of the only one capable of saving it from destruction: Akane. Forced to accompany them on a journey to restore the land's harmony, Akane—with her aunt in tow—sets off to discover a magical new place. Story-wise it's close to Ghibli, but context and characters are more mature. It deserves a praise for unique identity, but ending was quite disappointing, can't say I could enjoy it. In the Continental Year 911, the nation of Lustrice broke the pact by assembling an army bolstered by alchemy, with ambitions of conquest over the continent. Led by Envylia, the six nations allied and struck down the rogue nation, casting alchemy once again to darkness. But 20 years after the war, alchemy once again begins to cause chaos in the land. A wild mix of fantasy, isekai, dark mahou shoujo and sci-fi. As with most game adaptations, it does not feel integral and suited to be made into a movie. Overall Rating: 5/10 50. Laidbackers LAIDBACKERS-レイドバッカーズ- [Studio Gokumi] (Finished 1/1) Tags: Comedy, Fantasy In order to take over her grandmother's Dagashi store, art student Kumi Honamanuma moved to Kyoto. She met Harami Mino, K Kusanagi, Mai Haisaka, and a dog who lives in the store, which supposed to be empty. Kumi ended up living with these girls, who claim that they are heroes reincarnated to contemporary period to chase after the demon king. Harami and others seem to live in a peaceful life with no missions to to do anymore, Ran, who was demon king in the past and appears to be an elementary school girl from failing to reincarnate, one day. The story begins with Ran requesting to collect demon king's fragments. For an hour long movie, it performs really well. Easy and relaxing action with curious enough concept, but it does neither stand out nor is enjoyable for me to evaluate too high. Overall Rating: 6/10 51. Crayon Shin-chan Movie 27: Shinkon Ryokou Hurricane - Ushinawareta Hiroshi Crayon Shin-chan: Honeymoon Hurricane - The Lost Hiroshi 映画クレヨンしんちゃん 新婚旅行ハリケーン ~失われたひろし~ [Shin-Ei Animation] (Finished 1/1) Tags: Seinen Comedy Hiroshi and Misae have never been to a honeymoon trip to a foreign country. One day, Misae discovered an inexpensive and family-friendly holiday package to Australia and the Nohara family decided to make it their first honeymoon vacation. Hiroshi gets kidnapped upon arrival to Australia, leaving Shinnosuke, Misae and others on a dangerous journey. It turns out that Hiroshi is the key to a secret treasure. The remaining members of the Nohara Family must rescue Hiroshi, while a mysterious masked man and treasure hunters from all over the world are after him. The struggle is among three different groups in this action-filled treasure hunting adventure. Another ridiculous conspiracy cult thematic adventure with that I'm not found of. But at least it's bright and colorful. Overall Rating: 6/10 52. Tannishou wo Hiraku Unlocking Tannisho 歎異抄をひらく [East Fish Studio] (Finished 1/1) Tags: Historical Yuien, a troubled young man, meets the Buddhist monk Shinran, and listens to his teachings. Shinran takes him on as his disciple, and they travel together, with experiences both joyous and heartbreaking awaiting them on the road. Biopics about monks are paragons of boredom. Overall Rating: 5/10

How they hell did they put this on Steam? https://store.steampowered.com/app/2781750/Sisters_Last_Day_of_Summer/ I know that I complained in my review about turning promising nakige into nukige, but at the same time I find it hard to imagine the working all-ages edition of this title - too much of the screen time in the original has been devoted to H content, at the expense of other parts. I guess it will be meant solely to be used together with the supposedly incoming +18 patch available at JAST OTOH you could safely skip all H-scenes, and the story (or whatever remained of it) wouldn't suffer - so maybe the Steam version will work after all. It's just that in such case the already short game becomes even shorter.

Other than that, maybe Mikako from Aoi Tori and Mana from Amatsutsumi (She didn't wear denim miniskirt though). I don't know if you're already read those VNs or not, but regardless I hope my recommendations can be helpful to you.

I already read the fan-TL (while disabling the horrible h scenes) and have japanese Memorial Edition in a box, but I look forward to this Steam release. As you can see, the patch is still not finished because the translator insist to put the finishing touch personally while at the same time being burdened with work. That said if you want to understandably play the game immediately, then there's the leaked patch out there. Some may try to deter warn the patch may not polished compared to the hypothetical future patch, but it's better than waiting for the translator finally have time to fully focused on the patch, and besides it's not like the mistakes in the leaked patch is easily noticed anyway unless someone is very aware about it.

Everything already 100% now, so what are we waiting again now? Or am I just too dumb to not see the download for the full translation patch?

I have not thoroughly tested this, but KiriKiriTools seems to work for the initial proof of concept. 0. Download both the version.dll and Xp3Pack.exe 1. Somehow get Translator++ to give you all of the script assets (the *.ks files). Make sure they are shift-jis encoded. 2. Create a folder named "Patch". 3. Place the files exported in step 1 into the folder named Patch. 4. Open a command prompt. 5. Run the following command: Xp3Pack.exe Patch 6. That should create a file called "Patch.xp3". If not, rename the .xp3 to "Patch.xp3" Do not use Garbro for the above step. Xp3Pack creates the .xp3 in a special way. Feel free to use Garbro to make sure the files are actually in there. 7. Put version.dll and Patch.xp3 inside of the game folder's path. 8. Launch to see if the game loads the changes. 9. If it does, play through the entire game with fresh savedata to see where it crashes and fix stuff as appropriate. 10. Once you are sure it does not crash, create an entry on vndb.org and upload your patch somewhere so other people can use it to play the game. Pic:

Finished 090.s. One of my favorites in the game, honestly. Only a little more left. I think I should be able to finish Maiya route before July, after which I might slow down a bit. I plan on doing the party/harem route next, and then I'll take a look at Keika's route.

Both have great action and storytelling. I love Hugtto Precure too

I am trying to translate a visual novel into English using Kirikiri engine. I also did all the steps on the web. First, I used Kirikiri Extract to extract my data.xp3. Then I searched for scenario in data folder. I used Translator++ to automatically translate all the script files (which are .ks files). After that, I injected all my English scenario files into my data folder. Finally, I repacked my data folder into patch.xp3. But it did not work. I tried to delete my original data.xp3 and replaced with new data.xp3 (which has a translated scenario inside), but it raised an error called script exception. I tried to encode all the files to Shift-JIS, but some still remained ANSI. I also tried not to repack the data folder and put it back into the game, but it did not work as well. Can anyone help me with this problem? P/s: The game I am translating is: Koakuma-chan no Yuuwaku!. The game uses Kirikiri Z core. :<<<<<<<<

We’ve made some interesting research about different client-server issues, because we have plans to add such features in the future. What exactly are we talking about? You know Project Genome will have events. A really important thing that’s going to make them even more fun is binding them to certain time. A really nice thing would be an ability to download updates as well as reading full description of them right in the launcher. Such simple things make life of every player much easier. We don’t know still if it’s possible for us to make such feature for our game right from the start but we’ll out best to improve every aspect of your gaming experience. As for the work that’s been done throughout this week. We’ve been preparing the whole game build for future events and updates, mostly by getting rid of extra lines of code and unnecessary mix of mechanics that could cause new bugs. Lots of our time has been taken by Steam achievements and Roguelite achievements. We’re still working on them, we’d love to make them not just a fun little addition to your collection but something meaningful, something you’d love to get or remember. Visual Novel Translation Status (26/05/2024) Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for the title since we have Biniku no Kaori released with its English title is Scent of Seductive Flesh along with Shinjuku Soumei released, I changed the word 'Seductive Flesh' into 'Funeral' with the word is from the kanji in Shinjuku Soumei Japanese title, so we have 'Scent of Funeral' as the title. As for this week, we have a number of releases. While it looks to be very good on paper, unfortunately those releases are not what I look forward into, but at least there's Biniku no Kaori which is worth to note as one of highest rate elf VNs on Erogamescape. Other than that, there's also Venus Blood Ragnarok KS with it already successful. Overall, this week is another above average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. From fan translation, we have ChuSingura is at 45.26% translated, Taima Seiko Alice is at halfway translated, Akagoei 3 is at 73.77% edited, Akagoei FD is past three quarter (75.86%) in QA, Ushieta is at 69.8% translated with Yui 1 route is at 17.7% translated, and Shinzou Translation secret project is fully translated. We also have three releases from fan translation, with one of those is the aforementioned Biniku no Kaori. For the other two, those are Little Busters SS and Alice no Yakata. About Alice no Yakata, we most likely know it as the Staffs Corner segment which translated as Alice Mansion (Thus I'll call it as such) in most of Alicesoft VNs, and from what I understand the VN is the collection of side materials. For Little Busters SS, it's the episodic releases of Little Busters side stories. Oh yes, both VNs are not available on PC, but instead it available on the other platforms (Alice Mansion in PC 98 and Little Busters SS in Android and IOS). We have Shinjuku Soumei released in last Friday, and from what I see it's about the MC who live in Shinjuku use his power of immortality to perform dangerous funeral with the help of a ghost girl. Another thing that I know it's been written by narcissu's writer and drawn by Nanairo Reincarnation artist, so at least the art should be good enough. There's also a review that state the translation is quite bad, so you may be keep in mind of that if you try the VN (Have fun though if you've been interested with it). Cherry Kiss did release their cosplayer nukige, and no much to say other than the heroine has usual big breast. PQube released two Gotoubun VNs, and if I may blunt I never had interest with the VN based on the anime franchise, but if you like Gotoubun anime and want to see more of the heroines, then you can try the VNs. Dramatic Create announce the exact release date for Meiji Tokyo Renka, with said date is October 3rd later. Looks like this time Sekai is indeed serious with Wagahigh FD, and to show on how serious they are they list the current progress with it is at 15% translated. Also turned out they have the reason to mention Chiisana Kanojo progress back in Anime Central, and said reason is they have good progress on it with currently it's been almost fully translated at 95% translated along with at halfway edited. Ninetail started their Venus Blood Ragnarok on last Wednesday with the goal is 13.2 million yen, and currently they already gather more than 20 million yen which obviously mean it's another their successful KS. In case you want to help fund the KS, there will be time until June 19th. Oh yes, for the estimation release time, Ninetail list November 2025 although it may change later. Last but not the least we have a fan decided to suddenly released Biniku no Kaori, and the VN itself is one of highest rated elf VN on Erogamescape. From what I can see, apparently it has some NTR, although from what I see on VNDB it has more than that, namely it has mystery genre. For the premise, we have Takuya who is the university student who want to earn money in order to traveling with his girlfriend. One day, after he decided to take tutoring job on Otoha as the way to get the money, he saw a hole that allow him to see the bedroom of Otoha's parents bedroom with he also see Otoha's mother do her hair. From there, he wonder on who made the hole and why the hole was created, and he start to investigate it. Like YU-NO, this game has point and click gameplay, so you may need the walkthrough to get through it. Go get Biniku no Kaori if you want some well known mystery VN from elf while you don't mind the NTR element, and have fun.
