  2. Yes, it was happening. As for my opinion here, this VN was look quite interesting especially it was came from the same company as Majikoi. Since here we had one dead project here, I thought to just start over with the new thread here. Anyway, just like back at HatsuKoi I'll using this thread to report Tsujidou progress from when the project begin. PS - By the way, here's the news from Tsurezure themselves.
  3. Yeah, the main translator from Ate the Moon (Katahane, Ayakashibito) is back and right now he she ask for the help. Or to be specific he she asked for hacker to hack one of untranslated VN (If possible a dedicated one), because he she was about to translate one VN there. The VN in question was Tsukiyori (Or Tsuritou just as the translator said) in which was had translation project here before it's stalled. I'd quite interested with the VN itself, although to tell the truth I didn't had any skill here. Here's the post from the translator himself herself if you curious. Requesting hacking help – Tsuriotsu Hope some hacker from here could help him her if possible, and I hope that it'll be translated in the future. Edit (7/15) - Now that the project was officially started, I decided to change the title to reflect that (Former title 'Request from Ate the Moon Translation').

  5. Yeah. Translating Fortune Arterial from scratch where the previous project left off. Website: http://honyakusho.rip (amateur stuff) Can't be arsed to maintain About the game: Hasekura Kouhei transfers into Shuchikan Academy, a prestigious public school in the style of an English six-year school encompassing junior-high and high school students. The school is on an island named Tamatsu Island off-shore from mainland Japan, and the only way to get there is by boat. Soon after transferring, he discovers that Sendou Erika, one of the students in the class next to his, is in fact a type of vampire. EDIT: EDIT2: I am pretty much out of this at this point. Fraiziar is now the guy you go to.

ETC Before we've decided to translate this game, we threw a poll here to find out which game people preferred to see translated: this one vs Sakura no Uta -Sakura no Mori no Ue o Mau-. Some time later, we learned that some people might dislike to see the latter title translated for reasons, which was why we cancelled the poll shortly after. We didn't mean to make anyone upset by picking up the latter game, and if any of you had any bad feelings about it, we apologize.
  7. Good day, and say hello to our team: we are Mooseworks! I've been working on translating this game for several years. There was a previous translation effort that gave up, and I just took over and have been working on it since. But we'd like to move it here, since this forum fits better for a VN, and we want to get people to help out! Update 2017-8-31- All current and future work has been moved to the 2016 HD remake of the game . The old 15% patch for the original 2008 version is still linked however. Game overview VNDB: https://vndb.org/v1160 Official website: http://www.digitalcute.com/ Product link: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B00L5PAVLM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&keywords=むすめーかー&qid=1504205685&redirect=true&sr=8-1 (There is a non-horribly censored one on digital-cute's website page, here) Brief description by sanahtlig from Mangagamer: Current members RaurosFalls - project leader / translator tymmur - technical leader / programmer Progress Currently there is a 15% translation patch out, which translates from the beginning of the game to a certain date (April 1st). Meanwhile, the actual current "patch" (for the 2008 version of the game) is available for download here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/i3levft6xv3cs7t/musu_translation_patch_v1.0.zip [released August 9, 2015] Translation is ongoing and status updates will be posted. Recruiting So our decision to move here came about because we think no one knows about our game, and we want more translators to help out! We'll gladly take on anyone who wants to help. This is too much for one man to bear . If someone also wanted to lend a hand decensoring images, that would be amazing.
  8. Omoi o Sasageru Otome no Melody Translation Project! Synopsis: Misaki is an aspiring pianist studying abroad in Germany, with the dream of someday playing the piano that his late father had built. One day, he received a call from his older sister Shiori who was the music teacher at Lilie Girls’ School. She told him that the lone piano that was entrusted to the school would be donated to the museum at the end of the year and asked him if he would take over as the music teacher while she goes on maternity leave. Presented with the opportunity to fulfill his dream, he decided to accept the position and returned to Japan. When he arrived at the school, he discovered that only students at the school have the chance of playing the piano, and only if they are selected to perform on it during the school festival. Thus, he must attend as a student while serving as a teacher. Of course, that means that he must dress as a girl. While he was afraid of the consequences if his secret got out, his desire to take advantage of this final chance made for an easy decision. And so begins his new life as a cross-dressing teacher and student. I translate a few novels at Yado Inn and I now want to pick up my first VN project. I love Ensemble games, but no one ever translates them. I decided to end that trend and translate Ensemble's Omoi o Sasageru Otome no Melody. Also, the girls are really cute! Every person counts in this translation effort! Recruitment Priority (in order from important to not as important): - Translator Well, translating a VN by yourself is...... time consuming. If you love cute girls (+ trap protagonist), this is the project perfect for you! As long as you can commit a tiny portion of your life to translating, you're welcome here! Also, I do have to translate novels as well, so I do feel like I'm overly ambitious. (I was about to pick a new novel project, but some other dude wanted to do it, so I was okay go ahead, so then I figured why not do a VN you like.) Ah, ah, ah, moving on with the real details, preferred you know Japanese. MTL is....... we can discuss this, but I'm not very approving of it. - Editors My English isn't perfect. Not top priority right now, since I haven't read gotten anything for you to work on. I hope your English is good. - TLC You're a proofread basically. I don't have an editor, so what are you checking? That's why this is lowest priority right now. I hope you can spot mistakes easily, and preferred you know Japanese, so you can catch my translation mistakes. - Programmer/Hacker Edit: Someone contacted me and helped me, thanks! You're still welcome to join, just contact me. Goal: Currently, my goal is finish Common Route by end of 2017 (this year) or sometime early 2018 (next year). My grand goal is to finish this project by the end of 2018, so maybe sometime December 2018. Disclaimer: I do not know how fast I can translate this novel, so these are just rough estimates for what I want as for a goal. Will be updated when I have better estimates. Contact Me: Email: flowingcloudd@gmail.com Discord: flowingcloud#2601 I preferred you send me an email or just message me on Discord. You can PM/DM me on Fuwanovels, but whether I respond or not...... Also, if I do not respond within a day, please message me again, because I might have missed your email/message. FAQ: None right now, since no one has asked any yet.
  9. Koiken Otome ~ Revive ~ Translation Project Project Introduction: VNDB Page I'm a big fan of Koiken Otome and its fandisk, and feel like the fandisk deserves a TL. It doesn't seem like FlyingPantsu plans on TLing this game, so I figured I'd go ahead and do it myself. I'm completely finished with the translation work on my previous project, so I have been looking for a new game to pick up, and this seems perfect for me at the moment, with my interest in the game and my current Japanese skill level taken into account. My initial plan is to translate the new routes first, which is Chiharu, Chiyoda and Minato's routes. The rest, (Kotona + the main heroine after routes,) I will leave for last, meaning there might be 2 patches released at different times, 1 for the new routes and 1 for the rest of the game. Keep in mind this plan might change down the line, if I get more translators or if I simply change my mind etc. Progress: I just started, so not much have been done yet. Thanks to @Porygon2 I have the scripts extracted, an overview of the line count and tools to work in. (Thanks a lot, you are a lifesaver!) I'm doing this as a side project next to my Japanese studies at uni, so I will have limited amounts of time each week to work on the project. Luckily, the game isn't too long. Although the total amount of lines is 27k, the three new routes I'm starting with only make up 12k of those, which is a lot more managable on my current schedule. I will be making updates kind of when I feel like it, although I plan on doing at least 1 a month. Recruitment: As of right now, I am not recruiting anyone. I will be looking for QCers in the future, when the TL and editing % reaches a certain point, and I will also be looking for a TLC later on. I will post an update when the recruitment for these positions starts. That's about it. I am starting with Minato's route, which is about 5k lines, then I'll do Chiharu and Chiyoda. Click this link to follow the TL progress.
  10. We will now be editing the first post to include all of our current progress, to help make finding out easier. We intend to update this around biweekly, so no need to check for updates daily. Chat is still encouraged, so don't worry about burying our latest update. For newcomers, this is a project currently dedicated to releasing Shin Koihime Musou. The next game on our list is its fandisc, Moeshouden. Now then, here's our current progress! Note, this is currently just translation. Not editing or a patch of some variety. 11. Hello everyone, as I mentioned few times already our group (re)started the TL project on "Pure Pure: The story of ears and tails" after FOTS translations abandoned this project (got in touch with the head of the project, unfortunately he had to stop because he has too many real life issues...) This novel is really old one (published ~2004) so many of you won't know what is it about but people who were in touch with FOTS will know. =) As for now ~46% of the game has been translated so far (including the FOTS chapter 1 translation). I will post time to time in this topic but for people who are interested in this novel we created a simple FB page. I hope there is still someone who is looking forward to this novel, because this one has caught me so hard I decided to found a group and finish it. =) Me and Sachi wish you the best Aki Update - 11.11.2017 Game version: 18+ Necessary program edits to run the English version - Done (All credit goes to FOTS translations) Main menu - Done (All credit goes to FOTS translations) Extras - Done (All credit goes to FOTS translations) Translation: Chapter 1 - Done (All credit goes to FOTS translations) Chapter 2 - Rough TL - Done, Proofreading ~ 35% (Abyss Translations) Chapter 3 - 30,43% -> 40,21% Rough TL (Abyss Translations) Chapter 4 - 0% Chapter 5 - 0% Chapter 6 - 0% Chapter 7 - 0% Total Progress ~ 44,23% -> 45,65% (Rough TL) "Squares removal" patch (uncensoring) - In progress [This will be released as a separate patch as for someone might be uncensored nudity and sexual scenes inappropiate or offensive, also because some countries don't allow uncensored nudity by their law].
  12. ☆ Introduction ☆ Kuroshitsuji: Phantom and Ghost was released for the Nintendo DS in 2009. The game follows an original story written by Yana Toboso. It's set in Brighton and includes two new game-only characters. Players can control either Ciel or Sebastian in a chose-your-own-adventure game featuring puzzles, mini games, and much loved characters. In other words; it's a MUST play for any fan of the series! Unfortunately despite the series being hugely popular, no effort was ever made to localise the game for the Western fandom to enjoy- something we're hoping to change. Our project has been running since November 16. ☆ Progress ☆ Extracting Text/ Images from the ROM - 100% Translation of Sebastian's Route- 58% Translation of Ciel's Route - 24% Translation of Bonus Content- 8 % ☆ Links ☆ Please visit out tumblr for more information about the project and team! Official Website For The Game English Wiki Page ☆ Recruitment ☆ We are currently seeking more translators! Please get in touch by emailing phantomghosttranslations@gmail.com or sending a message through our blog! Our team has a dedicated but laid back work ethic, meaning you'll be free to choose when and what you'd like to work on. -- We're not from an established group, but a bunch of volunteers who banded together out of a love for gaming and this series. We hope you'll join us!
  13. http://ittaku-subs.net Ruu \o/ This is an amateur ~one man translation project plus ad-hoc helpers for the ToHeart2 Xrated for PC visual novel Progress:100.0% complete. Full staff list: Main players: Team leader: Conman Translation: Conman Programming: AlphaSixNine Conman Rem Velocity7 Kano Major Editors: Ninjakali SL Sovasin Volandum Fred the Barber Graphic Editing: Blake Translation help: Aerul Cala Cheezypoof Jaceryl Kenn SKpride Velocity7 Yaluen Other Editors: jdennis00 naturesbless Velocity7 Proofreaders: Benji Price Conman Vorac PATCH FEATURES The included patch backs up the original files and patches your existing installation, thus it includes no copyrighted material. It has 100% of the in game and H scene memories text translated. A special modified executable is generated that has most of the menus converted to English and supports a font change. The font is patched to one that is more suited to English text allowing substantially more text on screen which is important given the low resolution of the game on modern screens. In game icons have been graphically edited to English (see screenshot) where possible. Finally H scenes have all been manually decensored. As there was demand from some people to NOT include the decensored material, there is a choice of two patches to use: one that includes all the changes including the decensoring and one that only patches the menus for those who prefer to fap to big pixels instead of pr0n. The only thing that I could not get working was the ability to click on quoted text to replay voice - the position on screen where this happens does not align with the text. You cannot use old saved files as the jump points change after it's patched. You need to start anew unless the saved files are at selection points. GET THE PATCH HERE (IN TORRENT FORM): https://sukebei.nyaa.si/download/2358452.torrent Direct download is available from above website, but please use the torrent. Patch requires 7 zip to install, grab it from here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html Sample from running patched game: Game menus: The game is NVL meaning full screen text over the game. Here's a typical patched text screenshot. Mixed full and half-width characters (and an excuse to show Ruuko): A typical choice selection screen: Typical heroine / scene selection screen with translated menus. Calendar with translated events. Music mode with translated theme and composer titles. PROJECT BACKGROUND: I have been working on this project for 10 years and the bulk of them I was working almost entirely alone on the translation. Initially there was a small team that spawned this project which included only editors and one programmer. The bulk of the text extraction / reinsertion programming was done by Rem who I haven't seen after the first 2 years and did a marvellous job of extracting codes from text and reinserting things back in place. After that I altered his software to do proper line splitting and adjust for text/screen width changes. After Rem left I was pretty much alone for the next 6 years while I slowly chipped away at the translation for fun and language practice as my Japanese improved. A few difficult live events ended up making this project stall completely for 2 years in the middle. Nonetheless I always planned to complete it even if it had to be alone. Introduction to the fuwa community rekindled my enthusiasm for the project and from it I was able to recruit extra staff for editing, proofreading and graphic editing/decensoring. This was unashamedly my first ever translation attempt. When I started out on this translation project my Japanese was not very strong, so the translation was initially very rough in places. As it has been hard to get any help translating this for various reasons, I was basically left doing it all myself. Since I have gone to the effort of trying to translate this 97,000 line monster project myself, could you please limit your comments to constructive criticism only! As it took so long to complete, it also means that the translation improved along each route, and is better with those characters that I translated later. However the lack of translation check does not mean that it's very bad quality. After editing and proofreading I personally did go through the entire game multiple times for QC and wherever I spotted a translation error or inconsistency I would correct them as I went. While this is not as good as a proper translation check, I think the final quality is still quite respectable and most importantly a decent rendition of the original work. My translation style involves a modest degree of localisation while attempting to keep the original language concepts intact, and keeps Japanese honorifics and the occasional Japanese phrase with almost no stand out translation notes - instead I incorporated those into the text. I prefer to see given names first in English translation so I have taken the liberty of doing so, and my language is English throughout - sorry, no American. I am a native English speaker and if some of the text appears unnatural it's from trying to preserve the original literature. Japanese accuracy should be >95% with nuance capturing >85%. If I were to list the things needed to make this professional quality and reach my ideal, I would have loved for there to be an experienced translate checker do a pass over the translation. There is no doubt there are still numerous errors, mostly nuance related, but even though I advertised for help on and off for a decade, the few people who did offer to help were only very short lived. Additionally there are still some menu items that are in Japanese but not critical ones that make it difficult to understand. I also would have liked to have karaoke subtitled the videos and added subs for the final quotes from the heroine in the closing credit videos. I've been hanging out with a dedicated IRC channel at #aikeshi@irc.rizon.net under the alias conman, come and say hello. The Xrated game is no longer in print, the official website for it is http://leaf.aquaplus.jp/product/th2x/ Amazon Japan and various other online distributors still sell new and second hand copies. A PSP all ages version is still on sale today and the official site is http://aquaplus.jp/psp_th2/index.html Other variants (like DX) are still being released due to the sustained popularity of this game. These even have an extra routes that never existed and the character wasn't in any of the anime. Relevant vndb link: https://vndb.org/v20 Statistics: 2267 unique kanji, 345512 kanji total, 2.9M kana. 50+ hours reading. GAME INTRODUCTION: If you're not familiar with ToHeart2, it's a VN that is over 10 years old now so by today's standards its 600p 4:3 graphics are quite humble. As a visual novel it is extremely dense text wise, with almost 100,000 lines of text (hence why it's taken me so long). It has 9 different heroine routes with 11 different girls and I've been translating each route one by one and I was originally releasing patches as each route was completed. Most of the routes are of the same duration except for one half length one that is unlocked, and story intensity and successfully negotiating the route is very easy. If you're looking for a spoiler free guide to successfully negotiate the game, always choose the heroine you're chasing, and if the heroine is not available, choose her best friend, and always trust in the heroine and rely on your friends. You have the option of inserting your own name into the game when it starts, or use the default included name for Takaaki Kouno. Unless you particularly enjoy the heroine calling you by name, I actually suggest using the default name because the voice actresses speak Takaaki's name but instead leave an unnatural blank pause there which you're meant to think she's speaking to you instead; I guess unless you're listening out for it you may not spot it but I don't like it. As far as the content of the story goes, it's a mostly light hearted high school harem type story with lots of feel good elements and with mostly amusing and fun characters. It is *extremely* light on with the number of H scenes (though they are hard core) with only one major scene per successful route very close to the end of the story - Xrated was created after the original version, and one character (Sasara) was added to this release. Each route has an epilogue after the closing video which may or may not come after the H scenes. It has had a cult following in Japan for over a decade with tons of anime spinoffs and new figurines and merchandise being created even today. The question often gets asked if I'm going to do a non-xrated or psp version of the patch. I'm not planning one. I personally would have been very disappointed to play through such a monster without getting H at the end and it's otherwise the same without 1 or 2 scenes. Additionally, I did NOT enjoy To Heart 2 Another Days which was rated one of the most disappointing sequels of all time and have no interest in working on that now that this is complete. Comments? Enjoy! In addition, I am subbing the Anime OVAs that go with this game and its sequel, Another Days: To Heart 2 OVAs 1-3 To Heart 2 AD OVAs 1-2 To Heart 2 AD PLUS OVAs 1-2 To Heart 2 AD NEXT OVAs 1-2 I've opened a discussion thread for those wishing to discuss any aspects about the game itself or story rather than the translation project or technical help below with the patch:
  14. As everyone already know, MoeNovel released crippled EN version of popular in Japan game Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete. Both translation quality and removal of significant portion of game provide substandard experience to EN auditory, not worth the money they ask for it. So here comes our project to fix at least some of these problems. First patch released! Notes for patch: 1. Japanese locale needed! 2. On Windows 7/8 you have to install game OUTSIDE of Program Files directory or use fixed bat files! 3. One 100-lines script on Ageha route missed QC and editor there used [] instead proper quotes for spoken lines, fix is here: http://rghost.net/47445403 (Just replace old one in game folder with this file) Next stage: QC everything, do TLC on MN part of route scripts, fix bugs with first patch. ETA for release: end of July, but obviously sooner if anything serious is spotted with first patch. Still looking for more QC and TLC volunteers.
  15. Ao no Kanata VN script

Guys, I decided to try and translate Ao no Kanata visual novel. But I have no idea how to extract the script and then repack it from my pc. I tried various arc unpacking tools, but nothing worked. Can someone give me 'very detailed' tutorial on how to extract the script and repack it? I'll really appreciate it

EUPHEMIC TRANSLATION http://euphemictl.vntls.com Our discord server: https://discord.gg/hmgnfvu Bishoujo Mangekyou -Norowareshi Densetsu no Shoujo- Translation Project Title: Bishoujo Mangekyou -Norowareshi Densetsu no Shouojo | 美少女万華鏡 ―呪われし伝説の少女― Developer: ωstar (Omega Star) Official Site: http://www.omega-star.jp/ VNDB Link: https://vndb.org/v8038 Note: This is originally from the Finnish translation, however, as I go through translating the title, I will look through the script in Japanese as well Description Onogami Shigehiko, a teacher at an all-girls school, is a man of love - of love towards beautiful young girls - and to this day he has managed to keep this hidden from those around by playing as Mr. Serious. From the fear of losing his beloved career as a teacher, he has had to abstain from crossing the line with any of his students until now. ...Indeed, until now, until he met Kagarino Kirie, a mysterious girl of stunning beauty - it is this meeting that finally derails him into crossing that line, a line that was better left not crossed. OP Legend Well, this was a little earlier than hoped, but either way, here it is. Anyways, this project started about 5 weeks ago, when I thought about breaking into the translation scene. This has been a passion project for the whole time, doing this by myself. Honestly, this is a good title in terms of nukige, and I've enjoyed it and the rest of the series immensely. I've been doing updates in my wordpress weekly, and so have I in my Fuwa Blog. Either way, this has just been a regular passion project, which I've been doing in silence, but I thought that now would be a good place to bring it to light, fully. That's basically it, all things considered. Origin here. 17. Im sure this has been talked about plenty of times before but here's another thread trying to collect some translators to get this game out of translation hell. a couple of years ago i have been working on translations for this game with some others but over time it seems that everyone who was involved in the project has fallen out of contact or has given up entirely. i dont know japanese but i can make sense of rough translation and piece it together then pass it along to someone to input it to the game. for starters i would like to know the tool used to modify the exec.dat because whenever i add translated or modify text i get crashes and freezes using notepad++ or hex editing if theirs anyone who has a interest in this or has knowledge in this this is the right time.
  18. Introduction Hello, Fuwanovel. I am Nandemonai. Yes, the same Nandemonai from the PP/Jast forums, and the Mangagamer forums (back when they had forums). A few years ago, I found out that the NI Renewal version is a thing, with improved gfx and voice acting. Since Nocturnal Illusion is still my favorite game translated in the early years, I was interested. I have some Japanese skills, so I thought I'd try my hand at translating the updated scenes. This wasn't possible for two reasons. 1) The remake breaks the scenes up into completely different file structure than the original; and 2) The original translation is just terrible. Mostly unusable, and basically unsalvagable. I'd known it wasn't very good, but was still surprised at just how "not good" it really was. Long story short, I decided to re-translate the entire game from scratch. That was in 2011. I finished up the translation some time ago. Unfortunately, the coders I was relying on to reinsert the translation seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. The Team 6/26/2016 Thanks to Ryechu for agreeing to be an editor! 7/10/2016 A (belated) thanks to Mad Pierre mnakamura for agreeing to do the port. Well, to be honest? Right now (6/19/2016) there is no "team", there's just me. However, I did not reach this point all by myself. I would like to thank Kagami-sensei for generously assisting me in translating various lines that were giving me trouble. Kagami has touched < 1% of the lines of the game, but they're all the hard lines. Thank you very much. I would like to thank the folks over at vilevn.org - BaSF, Fenris, and kile. Without their assistance, this effort would have gone nowhere. They showed me how to extract the text from the original Nocturnal Illusion. They extracted the text from the remake (which involved finding existing tools, and then fixing bugs in them when they didn't work right). They sadly seem to have vanished. The last communication I had from them was in 2014, where they hoped to have a new version of vile ready "in a few months". Thank you guys very much for all the hard work. Progress Translation: 100% Editing: 50% Let's break this out. Initial editing pass: (by me) 100% Second pass (by Ryechu Darklord Rooke): 13.7 19.2% Last updated: 10/05/2017 Coding: Need Humanity (0%) This project is now recruiting. I need coders capable of getting the remade script inserted into something that runs on modern Windows. Also, while I did a second pass of the translation and edited on the way, it probably needs real editors. Update: In the rollback, an edit to this post got lost. Ryechu and Darklord Rooke have agreed to edit this, and Mad Pierre mnakamura has agreed to port the game to an engine he is working on. Misc Q. Didn't you say the translation is at 100%? Why 99%? A. Yes, but there are a few minor nits that - since I'm creating this page anyway - I might as well try to crowdsource some picks for. More details to follow when I have time to post them. As it turns out, I was able to figure these out myself. Q. What about licensing? Doesn't Peter Payne have Nocturnal lllusion? A. Indeed he does, and I approached him about an official release. He informed me he hasn't got rights to the remake. (I presume the original contract is somehow still good, but the remake needs rights that can't be gotten because the company hasn't existed in 15 years. But Peter didn't say.) Peter did say a fan patch was okay with him.

Galactic Rolling Dynamite Pancake™ presents: Karenai Sekai to Owaru Hana The Translation Project Plot Summary (Source: Hau~ Omochikaeri): Shou and Ren arrived at a beautiful town full of colourful flowers. They met the three sisters Haru, Kotose and Yukina, who run the cafe “Famille”, and he starts working there in exchange for a bed to sleep in. In the middle of the night, Shou follows Haru far away from the town to a hill covered with flowers as far as the eye could see. He watched as a little girl whom Haru was embracing turned into a flower under the large moonlit tree. She noticed his presence and smiled lonesomely while looking fondly at the beautiful flowers in full bloom. “I have survived up till now in this world by doing this. But I still want to continue living… even if it’s in exchange for other people’s lives.” Shou looked up at the petals which fluttered down and responded: “No matter what this world forces upon you, no matter how many people won’t forgive you... Project info: I debated for a while on whether or not I'd publicly announce this. In fact, I still have many doubts, but I decided to go for it instead of hestiating to keep the momentum I have going right now. Yes, I decided to start another translation project, and for a game I only very recently got into. Could this be the biggest mistake of my life? Who knows, but I'm doing it anyway. I hope you'll bear with me on yet another journey that will hopefully not crumble. 21. Hello Lady! Translation Project Recruitment VNDB Hello everyone, I am coming forth with a translation project that I’d love to make a reality. I’ve been a fan of Akatsuki Works for a very long time, love almost all of their titles and I’ve been waiting for three years now for someone to pick up Hello Lady! in order to translate it. However, no one picked it up and I thought it was about time for me to try my luck with it. So here I am, I’ve been preparing a lot of things since last week and I think I’m about ready to make my announcement. Because yeah, for now I’m all alone and if I’m making this post it’s mostly to see if there is anyone interested in helping me / seeing a Hello Lady! translation. If you’re looking for more information about the game, just browse the VNDB page: https://vndb.org/v13631 Current state I’d like to start by saying this, but unfortunately, I’m no translator and thus no progress on the translation have been made so far, however: I’ve spent the last week trying to extract the scripts and other files from the game, I’ve now figured how this all works and am able to extract everything without issue from the game. Despite a lot of trouble, I am now able to repack all kind of data inside the game (see the pictures at the end of this section) and there seems to be no issue with using English inside the game. I wrote a custom formatter to format the scripts into an easily readable format and scrapped everything useless from them, the scripts are now uploaded to my google drive as worksheets so they can be really easily edited and are stored in the cloud (I’m going to keep backups often though, just in case) So basically, I’ve done everything I could possibly do by myself. As I am not a native English speaker nor a Japanese speaker, I’d like to avoid doing any linguistic work (except proofreading for spelling mistakes and such). That being said, I’m not going to be completely useless during the whole project either, I can do a lot of small things on the side. As I said I can do some proofreading but I also have some skills in editing, not to the point of uncensoring of course, but I could edit the menus without too much trouble. Some images of the game with English text inserted: Here’s an approximation of the sentence count for each part of the game: Common Pershow (?) Tamao Sorako Eru Saku 5103 194 4040 3906 4563 6358 Not sure what Pershow is to be honest, anyway it’s very short. Recruitment As previously said, I would need to assemble a team in order to make this project a reality. If you want to volunteer, first thank you a lot, but then please contact me by private message here on Fuwanovel and not by responding to this thread. For now I am only looking for a translator (since nothing will be done without it) but I will open new positions as soon as a translator is found (if it ever happens ). Translators / Translation checkers I don’t really care about previous experience, what I’m looking for is someone serious about this (that can stay around for more than two weeks and who knows what they’re doing) and that have at least a few hours every week to give to the project, I don’t want this to drag on for years and I’d like to submit weekly updates as often as possible. That's all for the recruitment as of now. Final word Thanks to everyone who read up to this point, I hope that I’ll be able to found at least one translator because I’d really love to see this game translated. I’m going to check this thread and my Fuwanovel profile regularly from now on in hope to find a translator and I’ll update with new positions (Editing / QC) as soon as something happen, but please do not get your hopes up for now. - Azengar

So I have decided to start up a little translation project on my own, translating the new yuri VN, Tsui Yuri ~Okaa-san ni wa Naisho da yo~. The VN itself isn't very long, probably around 5-10 hours. Here is a short promo of the opening script English translation: Recruitement: Info about the recruitement: Currently I am working alone on the translation, however if you are interested in helping out with the translation, by all means, send me a PM. TLC, editing and proofreading will be done AFTER a certain part of the translation is done, as this is the way I want to work. If you are interested in filling either of these positions, feel free to leave a comment or PM me, but note that the actual work will not start until a later date. I will give more information on this once more of the translation has been finished. Progress: Retranslation: 100% TL, edit and QC: Link Additional information: The translation is done, but because we want the state of the patch to be perfect, we are not rushing things. Because of the retranslation of the common route, some technical issues with the patching that needs fixing, as well as QC and editing passes, the patch won't be out until 2017, sadly. (Though, it's already December atm, so it hopefully isn't too far off )
  24. あるいは恋という名の魔法 - Arui wa Koi to Iu Na no Mahou (Translation Project) ================================================== VNDB - https://vndb.org/v21121 Engine - 2XT - Pencil Adventure Engine (4.5.5.0) [PJADV] Trial Edition Download on Mail Cloud or Getchu ================================================== Hello, guys! I need your help for engine work to paste the text and adapt trial version. I translated the whole demo version (in Russian), and I really don't know how to paste the text. I used arc_conv for extracting data, but it helps only for graphics and music, can't extract the scenario and translated it with separate text file with VNR extracting. I can't find anything on that site about Pencil Adventure Engine (PJADV). Seems like no one to work with that. Can anyone help me with that? Don't want to paste the translation with VNR. That's not good. Thank you very much! I know that trial version includes more that 5000 lines of text, I made a scenario file of that (not included H-scenes). You can download that and check, as a proof. Thanks again!
