  2. Wow, it certainly has been a long time since I've been here. You guys have come a long way, and for that, I can finally say I've finished the first real working version of my old visual novel engine that I once did an interview on fuwanovel (https://fuwanovel.net/2013/10/interview-qbertys-om3ga-engine-transcending-platforms/) about. I'm proud to say that it's finally what I wanted it to become. A non-nonsense simple multi-platform visual novel creation and testing tool. It supports running your visual novels on Android/iOS/Windows/Mac/Linux with only needing to write your story once for all platforms. I'm also testing cloud saving/loading as well. All testers are welcome to http://vnengine.com to check it out. You can try it out for yourself at: http://vnengine.com

  3. Considering that IRL in many cases blood doesn't not appear at all, I'm glad that they didn't went that way. Sometimes blood amout is just... overflowing, it's terrible. People who had suffer from such a big wound inside their sensitive body parts, wouldn't be enjoying their first time at all. And as we all know - female orgasm at first time is mandatory. So a bit of an contradiction here. But I know, I know, VNs aren't about logic, or cohesiveness.

  5. Euphoria has maybe 30-35 scenes total, about a fifth of them featuring scat (max). Some feature stuff like fainting and gorey stuff as well. There's at least one lovey-dovey sex scene with each girl. Starless? Starless simply doesn't give a fuck. It has more than 80 (eighty) sex scenes, almost all of them rape (off the top of my head, I recall two -perhaps three or four- consensual sex scenes), it goes much farther with gore and torture, there's (more) electrocution and there's bestiality, the number of scenes with scat and/or enema play probably reach the twenties, maybe thirty scenes have piss play, there's numerous instances of drug use as well. And the average scene goes on for longer. ...You tell me.

  6. This vn has been on my mind ever since i finished reading it about a month or two ago and has been even more so now that Bishoujo Mangekyou -Norowareshi Densetsu no Shoujo- is getting an english translation. they take place in the same universe, in case you didnt know. a writer goes to a resort to talk to a bizarre girl, i guess to get inspiration for a story or something, and is given a kaleidoscope. when he looks through the kaleidoscope he is shown events that may or may not have happen in the past or future or even another dimension. there he is shown the story of two small children, Kanzaki Akihito and Sawatari Shizuku. they escape their homes one night to plant a flower by a lake and after doing so shizuku kisses kanzaki telling her his feelings for him. there is then a time jump fours years in the future where shizuku has moved away and despite kanzaki's attempts to contact her, she never replies. this has affected him greatly, so much so that he hardly goes to school anymore or talks to his other childhood friends Takaoka Kouji and Hanasato Megumi. doesnt help that akihito has a heart problem as well. one day everything changes though when shizuku comes back to her home town. although he is happy about their reunion, he cant help but feel like something is wrong. ill leave at that for now as far as summarizing the story. im gonna continue talking about the story with a spoiler tag down below for those who have read it or those who want the story in a hurry. i reeeaaally want to talk about this. it may seem to take the usual vn story route but trust me. there is a lot more that happens in this story. it really is a roller coaster of emotions. i highly recommend it. also, yes. it is a nukige and the sex does get in the way sometimes, but again, give it a read. the illustration is down by the same guy who did the KanojoxKanojoxKanojo and its sequel. i always did like kxkxk for its illustrations and so the fact that this used the same illustrator is what sold it for me. let me just say, holy crap are the characters beautiful. the guy or girl has really improved since KxKxK and it definitely shows here. i would come up with a better pic but i dont have it installed anymore.

these might also help.... 1.Have a glass of hot milk with green cardamom powder before going to bed. Taking it on a regular basis can relax one’s mind and give a good night’s sleep. 2.Have one teaspoon of licorice root powder with a glass of cold milk every morning on an empty stomach. It is an effective medicine which is good for insomnia. 3.You can boil around 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or around 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in one glass of water for 20 minutes and drink it. It is good for insomnia too. 4.Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil two to three times a day and before retiring to bed. This will increase blood circulation and relax one’s mind. 5.Add one teaspoon of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in two glasses of water. Boil them and then reduce it to one glass and drink it. Do it daily in the mornings to reduce headache. 6.Sprinkle one teaspoon of cumin on a sliced banana. Eat it regularly at night for good digestive system and curing insomnia

    Sleep issues

since don't want to prescribe medication but you can try by not watching TV/Mobile/PC or any same type of gadzets 1 to 2 hrs prior sleeping...can also do a little bit of yoga or meditation(try to completely keep your mind blank and think of a small light in a dark room in your mind) with this music... 1.One of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful 2.Drink a cup of warm almond milk before going to bed. You can drink plain milk if you prefer, but adding a pinch of nutmeg (1/8 tsp) and cardamom will make it more delicious as well as more effective 3.Set a daily routine and bedtime ritual schedule(preferably before 10 PM) for yourself 4.Chamomile tea is caffeine free(if possible avoid caffeine at all forms) and is a traditional remedy for insomnia. 5.Valerian root is great to relieve stress and induce relaxation. It is available in tea or drops form at most health foods stores.(though this might be a hard find) 6.don't have late night dinner( preferably 3 hrs prior to sleep) nd be it less spicy and fatty so that digestion won't became a problem for sleep.... 7.if you can give some time watching nature and only thinking about it, this will help you ease your mind.... 8.recommend Ayurvedic herbs and herb combinations for insomnia like Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Brahmi (bacopa monneri), Jatamamsi (Nardostachys jatamansi). These Ayurvedic herbs not only work as brain tonics, but also help in balancing the doshas and nourish the ojas. Tagara is another recommended Ayurveda herb for insomnia. Also, another herb by the name of Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is a body and brain rejuvenator, good for intellect and also helpful in the condition of insomnia. This is because this herb helps undo the everyday strain and induces sound sleep. Ayurveda herbs for insomnia work well on your system once you have undertaken the programmes of thorough cleansing and detoxification...(though you might not know most of them so just Google those name) 9.Take a nice, long, warm bath before bed-time... hope these might help...get well soon...

  14. when i went into it i knew it was a nukige and what i was getting into but as soon as the story got more and more interesting the sex really did start to become bothersome as it was just getting in the way of further development at that point.

  16. Out of those... G-senjou or Chrono Clock. If you have played and liked Sekien no Ignanock, then Gakthun is probably a decent choice (depending on what you liked about it). Edit: G-senjou lacks a really attractive main heroine (in all respects), which seems to be the main complaint of most people who play it that don't complain about it using the ladder story structure. I dislike Liar-soft's style of prose, so I personally don't like Gakthun. Chrono Clock has the benefit of being the most peaceful of the three, and it is a decent choice for slice of life with story.

  19. As for the stroked eroge, what I could say is that in regard of Harem Party, Greatest Inventions, and Touma Kojirou is that those three were not quite good according to VNDB, and it's on the short side. As for Starless, well not my taste actually and I would suggest that you avoid that if you dislike bestiality. My suggestion for those four here would be just avoid those for a while there. For Princess Waltz, while the story was copying from Fate according to several people, it's still quite interesting on it's own and besides you got a little gameplay in form of card battle which is quite good and interesting. Shool Days, well it's quite infamous with MC like Makoto and the big size but actually this is one of the best if we talk from production value (Animated instead of static), although if you want to try that it's quite buggy though according to some people. By the way, if you like yuri (Or at least okay with that) I would definitely suggest Pygmalion, Yurirei (Kindred Spirit on Roof), and New Generation there. Otherwise, I think you better avoid that. For more info here, Pygmalion was some sort of action VN, while Yurirei was more on lighthearted one with us watching the interactions between four couples of yuri iirc (There's a bit of story though). As for New Generation, it was the most lighthearted one ie full of fluff and nice interaction between three couples. I'll leave it to you whether you interested with heavy or light yuri game and the decision to play it. Oh, and I think so far Pygmalion was quite well received back at VNDB (7.58 average scores). As for the rest, G-Senjou was one of top VN, both of Gahkthun and Cho Dengeki Stryker was had some action and super robot as well, Chrono Clock was actually one of interesting eroge which still quite lighthearted, and finally for supposed nukige Beat Blade Haruka was had good story and interesting gameplay (Also sex was integrated to the gameplay, and the writing for the sex scenes was quite interesting). So, the conclusion here I would suggest you try G-Senjou, Chrono Clock, Chou Dengeki Stryker, Gahkthun, and Beat Blade Haruka first. Also you could add yuri game if you really okay with that. For the rest, just considering it later. Hope it could be help here.

  20. Uhhh...you do realize that the Bishoujo Mangekyou series is nukige, right? You're actually complaining about sex scenes ruining a nukige.

  21. ...that was an...unexpectedly good story. Shame that h-scenes and typical for vn complete 'whatever' about sex and it's implications, really downgraded the second part of the story (I only read mitchs' post, but I can imagine how it looked like in the vn... especially that But overall - I'm surprised. Ca't wait for BM titles to be transalted, they look georgeous. Especially that vampire one, and THIS ONE.

  22. A few of those are nukiges while others are more story driven so it's hard to recommend when I'm not sure what you are looking for. Out of the list; G-Senjou no Maou has the best true route of the list. Chrono Clock was also very good. I wasn't a fan of Gahkthun, but I know others that have liked it so that is up to you. School Days' engine is annoying but it is a fully animate VN with a million endings and is quite the ride. From my standpoint Cho Dengeki Stryker, A Kiss for the Petals: The New Generation, Princess Waltz and Harem Party were pretty forgetful, but Princess Waltz had some feels at least. I have not played Kindred Spirits or Pygmalion so I can't comment on those. The rest of ur titles are nukiges with some extremist tastes that don't require much time to play. I personally consider Murder at the Opera House the worst of the bunch. Best of luck

  23. just like Fred said i also agree with him(though personally didn't like Gahkthun cause of the story, though not underestimating the story, it's just that i didn't understand it quite well)....instead i liked Princess Waltz quite a bit(cause it have a little bit of gameplay) nd if u like gameplay based VN then u can follow this or this though most of them are outside of what u want....hope it may help...

  24. From that list, play Kindred Spirits before everything else. It's an incredibly heartwarming experience, and I don't recall seeing anyone who read it and didn't like it. That recommendation aside, it kinda depends on what you're in the mood for. My thoughts on a few of those: Chrono Clock is probably the best straightforward moege I've played (but keep in mind I've only played like 1.5 routes of it, and assuming you don't count Kindred Spirits in that bucket...) outside of KonoSora. KonoSora has the translation from hell, so, that pretty much leaves you with Chrono Clock; it's pretty great, honestly. I'm a fan of Gahkthun, but it's kind of divisive. The traits I see in the steampunk series really resonate with me: ultimately simple (and very human) stories with a fantastical setting; likeable characters; lovely art; soundtracks that leave an impression. I really liked Pygmalion. Most other people don't. I found it thought-provoking and well-written. Lots of other people don't. Maybe give it a try for an hour or two and see if it clicks? I wrote a review of it a while back, if you like to read reviews: https://fuwanovel.net/reviews/2017/03/08/the-shadows-of-pygmalion/ Beat Blades Haruka is an interesting little game, but a pretty hardcore nukige. If your primary motivation is H scenes, maybe this is the right choice. I don't get the hype around G-Senjou. It's fine, but definitely not my favorite.

  25. prepare two weekends. im sorry, its been a while but the common route is pretty long. id say like 7-10 hours at least maybe. the route length depends on the route. i think rinkos route was longer than the common route and the others i guess are around the same length as the common route. im guessing kanades route is one of the longer routes as well.

  26. When people talk about things being overhyped, the idea is that they praise a work to the high heavens, set an impossible standard for it, and ruin anybody else's ability to enjoy the work. What is really happening is a little simpler. When people like a game, they talk about it. They share their experiences. When people dislike a game (this works with anime too), they will generally drop it and move on. Mabe they will say something quick about it, but most people are more concerned with finding works to enjoy, so it is not uncommon to find things we do not like in the process. When something is highly praised though, our expectations are set, and we feel let down and annoyed when they are not met. This is generally when people start to say it was overhyped, implying the high praise the game was given ruined it. This is simply a matter of personal taste. On an individual basis, people will generally spend more time talking about good works they have played rather than bad. With works not fitting in to their tastes, they will move on. On the internet, if many people like something, many people will talk about it, and people that didn't enjoy it will generally move on. This can create the illusion to some people that a game gets nothing but praise. Once again, on an individual basis, if people will enjoy a work, they will talk about their feelings. They are not trying to give a critical analysis. As with anything, no matter how many people seem to like it, if something is not to your taste, then you simply have different taste. Anybody can learn to enjoy, or at least appreciate, almost anything, but whether the work is worth their time investment is completely up to the individual. Hype isn't generally the problem in these situations. Expecting your experiences to line up with that of others is. And it is completely possible, and is usually the case, for someone to find what you percieve to be bad writing, to be well thought out. This is not so much their lack of experience or education but their individual taste and the subjective standard of writing at work. Nobody has failed you for not enjoying this game. It is simply not, at current, to your taste. Keep in mind, it is completely possible for you to learn to enjoy the game, as individuals can expand their taste. It is important to understand that choosing not to learn to enjoy it means that you do not think that it is, at current, worth your time (as time is valuable). This is very different from it veing impossible for you to enjoy, and the work has not failed any objective standard of writing, as none exists (just consensus). Good god that was long.

  28. So some of you might have seen this thread a while back talking about a piece of software that I had written, to keep track of your visual novels. Unfortunately, it was fairly buggy, and it didn't support eroge from other sources as well. I am working on creating a new and improved version of this software from scratch, but I want requests from communities such as this one for features that they would like to see in it. I'm trying to make it something that people here would enjoy and use. So I am asking for input on any features that anyone would like, and I will do my best to add the features as I program it. I REALLY need input for features I should add regarding DLsite games, since I have no experience with those games. Since the DLsite Game Manager is now open source, I am now able to add features from that program into mine. So if there are any features from the GameManager you enjoyed, ask. Those features should be the fastest to add. Here is what the UI will mostly look like(subject to change): If you have ANY ideas for software suggestions, please leave a comment on this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mzovyY6C18YTbGmSP6DhQLiXFSrw7UoN-sq6IRhzy0A/edit
