What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?? This is about translating.

So if there is no H-scenes included in translations and if translators are against them they must not be serious and determined? You say that thouse titles that did gotten released without H-scenes are exeption becouse there ware all-ages versions all along but don't you think that thouse translators that are cuting out H would do the same if such versions existed.
And calling such translations half-assed just becouse they are not ment for perverts like you are very rude.

Just to answer the question (and make the thread more broad- to include official translations, such as if my heart had wings)- if they paid me beforehand, they can do whatever they want. Censor it, change it, write a completely different story and only use the title- they have my blessings.
 
If they didn't pay me, well, they better have a good lawyer. Who gave them permission to use my work at all?
 
I would like to point out that your whole argument here is based on respect, nii-chan. And if we're talking respect, is it really ok for you to take someone else's work, translate it and put it for free without even asking that person? As the example I gave above, if someone took something I made and translated it without even asking me first, I'd be incredibly pissed at them, and a lot of the original authors do (the only fan translations I've seen that got the OK from the original author were the ones Witch Hunt made)- since you're doing something those authors mostly find disrespectful, can you even ask for respect from the fan translators at all?~
 
By the way, these aren't my actual views on the matter. I, as always, am neutral to the whole thing- I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing here (it's pretty fun!)

I try finding something similar, my gallery is huge so it's hard to find but I am sure I will find something for you.

You'd be actually surprised how normal and open-minded most of them are, especially when compared to other average people.

I don't get what is there to bear with, I get that some people dislike extreme gore, but saying that someone can't bare with it is overexaggerated.
 
Back on the topic if it really is Nukige then I am not interested in it as I don't like any H-scenes, but if it is an Eroge with a focus on a story I would definitely like to give it a try, true I doubt that it will ever get translated.

There is nothing stopping another group taking up a project that's already been translated. It may not regularly happen, but there's nothing stopping people from doing it, ala the Flyable Heart's translation. If the translation community want to stop anybody who doesn't meet their standards from translating visual novels, then that is elitist and excusionary behaviour. If translators are pissed at a translation, then they can release their own patch. They don't tend to do this because they worry their version won't be read, and frankly I don't care a whit about those selfish concerns.

Seriously guys i get that some of you are worried and rightfully so, however you're already imagining worst case scenarios based off of thin air. That is not right in any way. This person was honest about the situation and you just bashed him assuming things on your own. Wether what you say is going to be true or not, i find it really disrespectful to come at someone like that when there's no example of his work. You don't know what it's going to be like so you can't just assume things on your own

I can't imagine how the OP feels after reading such discouraging words. You're literally bringing him down before he even gets to try and prove himself.
I honestly want to lock this thread but this is just my personal opinion here so i won't act based on that but this seriously made me mad. Come on guys be a little reasonable.

I've pulled together a ragtag group for the translation of Aiyoku no Eustia. We've methodized our translation, and should consistently be translating 50 to 100 lines a day. We made a website for our translation here:

PS: I don't know if you are really kidding or not, but I do agree that 99%+ of people in this world deserve nothing but painful death, true, I would use them rather than dispose of them if I had that kind of authority, after all we do need someone for physical labor and stuff like that.

Well I hate when protagonist is cheating heroines too but one thing I hate even far more are perverts withouth self control.

Well I do still agree that H-scenes are anoying and don't have any sense but if we ignore that I think that story was great, also there is an all-ages edition too that dosen't have H-scenes.

Had to zoom in to see it, but there actually is a nipple there. XD

Also, does anyone have a 1920 x 1080 image I can use for my desktop? Looking for something with a lot of detail in its scenery and at least one cute girl. Due to various reasons regarding the wellness of my lifestyle, it can't be anything ecchi.

I am with you there, true I am not a family man and I live alone I too don't have money to spare on VNs as I am living on one meal a day as it is.
 
I will leave supporting companies to people who can afford it.

I personally don't want sex scenes in any visual novels I play. I get that sex sells and it's going to happen, but I view characters in a way that they should be respected. I'm not saying put a ban on the H-content, but I at least wish that every game had an all ages version.
 
Then again, last summer when MoeNovel brought over If My Heart Had Wings they decided to do some censorship. That was kind of cool, but they ended up over-censoring the game to the point where even hugging was cut out... Not cool man, I need the hugs...
