Don't worry, this isn't another appreciation thread (dear god almighty), but I just wanted to say the activities the staff has been hosting this month have been an awesome way to involve the community. The forums have felt more active than normal. The MotM and the logo competition are fun additions.

A couple of good ones are Steins;Gate, Muv Luv, Fate/Stay Night, and Grisaia no Kajitsu.

Mmm... Been a while since I've done Sachi's route. Hard to remember/say. But, fundamentally, yeah I'd say he was quite a bit different. Back then, he was just depressed because he felt inferior to his sister (he probably still does in some small ways, but also realizes he has his own path/skills) and how he was treated because of it. Current Yuuji has life experiences most people would never in many lifetimes have to endure. In short, this guy's been through hell, and somehow made it out of it as a somewhat decent human being. He's not perfect - He has a dark side, but he's certainly not depressive. Deep thinker, yeah... But he's a lot more mature. I think the loss of his sister, then his mentor probably fucked him up on the inside a bit. That's hinted at in other routes though. Even still, he pulls through. Kid's intense. But he is the protagonist, so that's to be expected.

Saya no Uta Chain The Lost Footprints Kara no Shoujo (provided you don't mind character death) Hakuoki Comyu Utawarerumono Prima Stella MinDead Blood Gun Katana I can say if you want a genre that's practically tsundere proof, games of the...darker/hardcore variety(ie Conquering the Queen, Virgin Roster and Valkyrie Svia) might be worth your while. At least if one of the heroines is of the violent tsundere type the protagonist is able to "fix" that after a few ero scenes

Kira☆Kira and Shuffle! come to mind. Shuffle has no tsunderes but three derederes, if that's your thing.

You should try a VN that will catch interest also something decent that won't be like. Example* How about some mystery titles, everyone loves a good mystery. The one's that i've read so far are: Dangan Ronpa 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors Persona 4: Golden ~still playing B)

Yeah, but it would be cool if it was a side route, without all the romance involved. This way, she could be more cold hearted and work it better in her route/plan. If there is/was a Fandisc, I'd like to see that happening

To all the people googling (like me) who tried to solve this problem, I have figured it out! Find the puush.exe, right click and properties it. Disable the DPI scaling and run in win7 compatibility. Now it should work properly! And I'm off!

Lolis for the "cute is justice!" factor? Yes. Lolis are some of the most adorable things on the face of the planet. That's great. Going around having sex with children? Ehh, not so great. I think it's been said enough that 2D = fine. I believe most "loli-lovers" find 2D lolis to be extremely cute. I would agree. But I'm also sure most of them don't actually want to go around and have sex with children. I'd like to believe people can distinguish fantasy from reality. >_>

Well, I finished Dies Irae. Rea's route was so nuts, I have no idea what happened there. Im definitely gonna need to reread that later down the line, preferably when my japanese is better. Anyways, the game was as great as I'd expected, I loved how much characterization it did at pretty much all points. I don't really regret doing Kasumi's route either, as it gave the game a nice feeling of ramping up (the final boss order and how Ren slowly advances ranks) so. I need to level up a bit more before I do KKK.

Seriously nobody said "Umineko"? Great novel, great story, great characters, easy 10/10, but then DEEN made that... I wonder why they didn't do the second season -not Edit - Samurai Flamenco was soooo good, even that they've gone through some weird s**t, I still think it was one of the best animes of that season/year.
