Zenophilious
You're a legend 'Fession: I saw my friend's dog get run over by a car. RIP. =/Nah. Just got lucky. I went outside to walk my dog and I saw this other dog walking by itself on our street, which feeds into a rather busy intersection. A random woman on the sidewalk also helped me get him and called the number on his tags while I held him. Little guy almost ran directly into traffic.Shit, man, that must've been tough. I've never seen a dog get hit before, only a few post-collision. I hope I never will.Welcome to the saved-a-dog-club. We have karma and puss.Sweet. Some non-reddit karma would be nice. Those neighbors probably thinks better of me now, too, so there's a plus. How'd you save a dog? Flutterz

Those neighbors probably thinks better of me now, too, so there's a plus. How'd you save a dog?- - - >...But seriously, let me think... I once threw myself in front of a car, to save my dog. So, I guess the child? Is that even comparable? Well like a dog, you also take care of your child. I also love my dog but I don't think I'll throw away my life for her. I don't think my dog would want that either. When the lady driving the car told me "You could've just bought a new dog!", I replied "It's fine. Mama could've just made a new kid." I felt pretty cool saying that with 10.I have not yet met a girl who loved me after hearing that though.

Kenshin_sama
Confession: My mom and I almost regularly save turtles from the street. There was a snapping turtle that kinda made it hard for us though. Since they're defensive-aggressive by nature, it would try to bite us every time we approached it. So, since he made it hard for us, I decided to be a little bit of an asshole and save him the hard way by kicking him a little bit and backing off each time. I only did that because I was set on saving him at the time; I never helped a snapping turtle after that.
Abyssal Monkey
After I finally got my headphones from amazonConfession: I ripped out my computer's front audio out port. Pulling in my chair with cable stuck under armrest and I hear a *plink*, look down and find the 3.5mm jack bent sideways and my computer reverting to it's monitor speakers. Pulled out the cable to find the male jack is still fine and the female jack's electrical noise protector out. I was about to go buy a dac/amp or soundcard and write it off as an eventuality that came sooner than later. Then I realized that the 10' cable they ship with it is actually a 3.5mm to 3.5mm and not something else that I couldn't identify. Eventualities stalled! It's actually better this way anyway, not enough power went to the front audio port so sound was a bit dampened. In like 3 years when I buy upgrade to final audio quality including required accessories, I'm getting more powerful headphones and these can become my travelling ones.Extra quality: heres the song that was playing when it happened. Funyarinpa
Back from Spain. It was a tiring day. A shopping bag with perfumes and chocolate in it was stolen after my dad forgot to pick it up after opening a briefcase to check something out, he got the security footage etc. viewed- shit cost me so much time I missed the initial due date from a major English assignment (20 percent reduction daily after due date, I can recover that loss, my English is great). A Link Between Worlds is a fun game, Dynasty Warriors 8 Vita probably still would've been the better choice but ALBW is great too, it seems. And I'm not a fan of Zelda. (7/10 series) That said, the girl from the conference responded, HEAD IN THE CLOOOOOUUUUUUDDDDSSSS Flutterz and Fred the Barber

Still on scenario I, but this seems like it will be a lot better than SFI and II. SFII was by far my favorite, so we shall see what SFIII does to my overall ratings for the games. Down
Additionally there are nuances of meaning b/w left and right depending on the countries. And you can have a conservative left. Or a liberal right. For example from a french point of view, american democrats would be the right and republicans so far extreme right they're kinda off the spectrum. Darklord Rooke
For example from a french point of view, american democrats would be the right and republicans so far extreme right they're kinda off the spectrum. Most likely because the Socialist Party is in power in France, and the American Democrats are a party which typically likes to straddle the Centre. So sure, it's easy to see why if you stand to the left, the Centre is to your right.
Valmore
Actually, it's kind of silly how we label politicians right or left in America. Even inside of the two major political parties you have those who are less inside and further outside than the supposed "norm" of the political spectrum. Most of them don't actually even understand how things in the world work in the first place, and are really just Ritchie Rich socialites who can get elected because of their bankroll or position in society. For instance, for all intents and purposes Bernie Sanders, a "left" Democrat, is pretty much somewhere between a socialist and a communist, basically meaning Government controls a lot to the vast majority of things needed in your life, redistribution of wealth, etc. As an example, Sanders would likely favor overhauling the so-called "Obamacare" so that it's even more extensive. What's hilarious is those who hate "Obamacare" also have been shown to not want money taken from Medicare, which is essentially socialized health care for certain people. Anyway, I actually think Sanders is the most sincere person running out of this farcical group of rich kid idiots, however he also strikes me as voting for a meme with his simplicity of how the world should be.And then you have Donald Trump. I have no fucking clue how to describe him in terms of being a Republican. There's a party who needs to shut up the idiots who have managed to grab control of the party and get their voices to the front of the media. Believe it or not, there are differences in the Republican Party. There used to be a term called Rockefeller Republican, where the group was conservative in the financial aspect but tended to be more liberal on social issues. Christine Todd Whitman was a good example of that. They've mostly been driven to silence or over to the Democrats.Generally speaking, your average American falls toward the center in one way or another, not agreeing with the all aspects of what the vocal majority of a party says they stand for. Which is why I weep at our collective sheepish idea of clinging to a two-party system.
