Mephisto
Just curious, would people actually enjoy clannad? Clannad is really long and hyped up to be more than it really is to be honest, so unless you're already a fan/really in to anime and stuff, I don't see clannad being particularly groundbreaking at all. Narcosis
I'd rather recommend the excellent anime adaptation, than force people to go through the visual novel itself.
sanahtlig
I asked for Eushully games because that's how I roll. I also requested Age and Light. I thought about asking for BlackCyc, but figured that wouldn't exactly mesh well with their current image. I don't have much interest in Key's games (haven't played a single one actually), but I liked the Angel Beats anime at least.
InvertMouse
These guys are working hard and forming connections real quick so I am supporting them in any way I can ! Going to fill in that form now . I know I need to get over it and the game is not from Key but where is ONE (>w<)/?~
Erogamer
Their main distribution channel is Steam, so dont expect 18+ vn will appear on Steam anytime soon... Actually, they are working with Jast. They have already released an 18+ VN in School Days, so even if they have a channel or whatever on Steam, they can and probly still will release 18+ TL projects. Decay
To be honest, I don't see much of a reason to release Key games, nor am I a fan of them anymore, either. Key used to be a pivotal studio in terms of visual novel development, back in the days when utsuge based vn's were high on rise, but nowadays they became rather stagnant in terms of content; I doubt they will come up with something new and fresh anytime soon, while others are moving forward. It's definately easier to publish older, highly regarded games but in my opinion Sekai Project should move forward. leaving the old stuff behind and trying to focus on the present and future should be their major concern. There's a lot of great studios and titles, that are often left forgotten or overshadowed by those cheap charage and moege games, mass-produced by all the current studios. I don't mind them, but since they often lack even any sort of a solid story, instead simply focusing on character quirks, there's a lot left to be desired. Reading great, interesting and highly entertaining stories is my main objective in case of visual novels. I know a lot of people here don't really care, but it is in the best interest of many of these companies to expand the potential market for visual novels as much as possible. Romance themed bishoujo VNs, or "dating sim" as everyone outside the established community calls them are looked down upon by the general western game-playing public, and if companies want to erase the stigma that comes attached to playing those games, they need to release ones that actually have deep or interesting stories. Say what you will about Key's games, but I think some of their titles like Clannad could change the way a lot of people view that genre. Once that perception changes, they could start expanding into more of a mix of moege, nakige, chuuni, and whatever else. I think it has to be a game like Clannad to begin breaking the negative perception bishoujo games have because the name is already known amongst anime circles as a story that isn't some paper-thin harem crap. There may be other, better VNs like it, but they probably won't be as effective if they're not as well known.

Ashadow700
Holy snap, Sekai Project is on the freaking ball. I mean...at the beginning of 2014 I don't think I had even heard of them, whereas now the seem to one of the most active VN licenser out there. I hope they do well. Zenophilious
Answered the survey. I didn't remember what Sakura Spirit was at first, but I recalled a Steam review of it saying something along the lines of, "Yay, now my friends can see my fap material". I'd be happy to buy localized digital versions of Key novels, as long as they were reasonably priced.

Silvz
I told them, with a lot of drama, to translate and sell Kimi ga Nozomi Eien... and not to censor sex scenes from their games. You think they'll read it?
sanahtlig
They can only negotiate with companies willing to listen. After the fiasco with Amaterasu, there's no telling if Age is interested anymore.
Zenophilious
I told them, with a lot of drama, to translate and sell Kimi ga Nozomi Eien... and not to censor sex scenes from their games. You think they'll read it? Probably depends how many people say the same thing. Surveys like that are made to gather stats, and individual opinions don't get much recognition unless they're in massive amounts and can't be ignored. That's what I've seen in my experience, anyway. Take my assessment with a grain of salt, since I don't know too much about business or polling.
Zakamutt
Considering most people seem to think kimonozo's anime adaptation is superior to the VN (and I do like the anime), I'm not sure if I see much point in it myself. sarayne

Tatsujin
I told them, with a lot of drama, to translate and sell Kimi ga Nozomi Eien... and not to censor sex scenes from their games. You think they'll read it? I doubt it after whatever the fuck the previous person did while translating Muv-Luv Alternative did. Whatever happened the deal fell apart and Age cut things. Kiminozo's got shit load of drama scenes and hell that's what I want. So I was curious what the new Grisaia no Kajitsu from an official release will be ... and here you go. Check the very last one. All Ages. You're reading this right. Perfect. Just beautiful. Sekai Project my ass. That's a half-assed project. Considering what they've done with Grisaia, I don't want them to even think or touch any of Age's stuff. Stay away, please.
Silvz
I don't actually know what happened with Age. Was it too bad to the point that they'd never let people sell the games here?

Zakamutt
Not to mention SP's ongoing attempts to make an 18+ version available off steam...
havoc
I don't see why people seems to dislike vn becoming all ages. Personally i think it depens more on they way they go about it. As for removing the H scenes from Grisaia no Kajitsu i dont really mind. The reason being that i think that the H-scens did not add anything for most routes. Except for amane and yumiko routes and i think the h-scenes actually hurt the story for Michiru and Makina's routes. I just hope they dont also remove the dirty jokes. Some of them where quite funny. that and the h-scenes for amane and yumiko's routes where pritty hilarious in my opinion.

No matter how little h-scenes are relevant, you'll never be able to make people that like them, even if just to fap, suddenly accept them being taken away. The internet's fueled by porn, take that porn away and you get angry people. Regardless SP is trying to find a way to maybe make an 18+ patch off Steam. At least that's what i've heard. Zakamutt
^they claim they did not have a QA policy before its release or something. I have a feeling that might just be a PR maneuver though lol yashasupercow
