I finished the whole thing last night before I slept.
I decided against posting about it before I slept, since apparently I lost the ability to form coherent words after reading the last few scenes. Honestly, I did not expect that. Everything just exploded at my face. Like ugh. It just gushes deep inside of me, you know?
Anyway, I'll put my thoughts about Chapter 6 to 8 for now. I'll try to provide a more coherent reaction to whatever I finished reading. Don't worry, it wasn't bad. It was good imo.

I put Chapter 8 and 9 because they're pretty short. Anyway, enjoy the rest of the novels, guys. I really enjoyed reading it, and am glad that it was the one picked by the club. It's kinda funny that I finished it even before the initial impression week started, but eh. That's because Gahkthun was picked, I guess.

I was trying to resist posting until Tuesday, but since you posted, I'll just pin the blame on you.
Now, I'll prevent myself from posting too many things, so I'll just go and post my overall opinion on each chapter I've read and my real-time comments while I was reading them. Last one I posted was Chapter 3, so I'll go straight to Chapter 4.

So I haven't put my real-time comments yet due to my USB not being read by the computer, so kek. I'll put it in the future.
By the way, I'm constructing a timeline of events for Gahkthun, so if you guys ever want to see the timeline, I can always share it. I grew fond of keeping tracks of dates when I started reading this one. Probably will continue for all other visual novels which state the exact dates for events. Some dates weren't stated directly in the visual novel, so I had to think about them on my own.
I'm currently at the final chapter, but I'll refrain from posting my thoughts about chapters which haven't been read or haven't been started on by others to prevent spoiling or whatever. But being spoiled by stuff in spoiler sections of the post is the spoiled person's fault, so no blame pls.

As you've no doubt noticed, the forums have lost several days' worth of data. The data loss was a result of error earlier this afternoon when I was troubleshooting a critical failure in our blogging software. I ran a recovery procedure to repair the blog, and erroneous code in my process deleted forums' database data. I later consulted Nayleen about our options and what went wrong, and unfortunately the only option available to us was to roll back to our last uncorrupted backup (which was last weekend).
The data loss is my fault. I wrote my recovery programs and did not understand that two lines of code mixed-up database directories and -- ultimately -- would destroy the forums' database.
I take data loss very seriously and I've tried to be responsible: I backup the site every few days and store the files in at least three places: the server, my personal cloud, and in an offline, enterprise-grade hard drive I obtained for this purpose. Today's data loss was not due to negligence in making backups: I had backups made as recently as yesterday; the problem is that the most-recent backups were corrupted in my recovery process today. I ultimately had to go back and pull a backup from my offline HDD to restore the forums. 
I want to apologize for the frustration many of you are feeling. Providing this community with a safe, reliable online home is something I take very seriously, and I fully understand that the loss of data amounts to an astounding amount of work. As soon as I realized the breadth of the problem I cleared my schedule and got to work. 
The only thing I can control is how things will change going forward. I've gone through all my recovery documents and programs and rigorously checked and fixed mis-directed database queries. As soon as I identify other helpful SOP changes, I will make them.
Lastly -- I realize that this is yet another example of the need for technical assistance. I'm working on this actively, getting bids, and I'll post more about this soon in my community updates.
Thank you for your patience. I'm committed to making Fuwanovel the reliable community we all want it to be, and I'm deeply sorry for this incident.

So after five months of stalling the novel (in which I've been stuck on Chapter 7 until I opened the game again last December 11), I finally finished the whole thing. Granted that it was another Liarsoft title, after finishing Forest and Shikkoku no Sharnoth in the past, I went into reading this with high expectations. Sadly, since theater life pretty much consumed what should have been my 'free time', I had to stall reading this. Now that I've finished the visual novel, I can now say that it did not betray my expectations. It was great.

Hello there, I almost forgot to introduce myself.
I'm Illusion, I have been reading visual novel for a long time. As I said at "What was your first VN and how was it?", my first visual novel was Little Busters and I turned into an avid reader. It is not my first time here on Fuwanovel, I really value your efforts to make VNs popular here in the west. I do not know what to say... I have read some light novels as well, I do not like manga though.
I read mostly untranslated ones, my favourite works are plot-based, despite this I still enjoy some moeges.
I apologise for my bad writing, I am not a native speaker but I hope we get along.

I've pretty much convinced myself that I want to submit a panel proposal to Sakura-Con 2016. Below is a copy-paste of the text I've put together for the submission. I'm looking for ideas and feedback from you fine folks. It says so below, but keep in mind while reading that if you're here on Fuwanovel, you're probably not the target audience for the proposed panel; I'm aiming to help out less-experienced people who are interested in VNs but don't know where to start (think: everybody you know who read Katawa Shoujo, enjoyed it, and then never played another VN because they didn't know it was a thing). Ideas for further content are especially welcome, and I'll also welcome any critiques on wording, etc.,

First of all, I have literally visited this forum like thousands of time throughout the year, but never ever thought to sign up in this forum.

All I did was take and take from this forum. I got a lot of walkthrough's of visual novels in this forum. And believe me, so for this forum is the best organized, well made and well designed. (I am a web designer myself. I can tell.)

I gathered lot of info's and got answers of many questions from this forum. But this time I thought, It's time for me to give something back. So I took the courage to sign up in this forum.

Anyway, I am an otaku and read over 60 visual novels in my whole life. (Basically, I started to read vn's a year ago.). I have a huge collection with more than 250 Visual novels in my External Hard drive. I wish that one day, I will be able to finish reading them all. So basically that's it. I also watch a lot of hentai and read Eroge and Nukige heavely. I am a naughty boy, ain't I?

Anyway, I noticed there are many Netorare/NTR fans out here. I personally like this genre. But there are not enough places to discuss about this genre or get recommendation. Anyway, here my christmas present : Harahira french tl project will be put on the site for the french tl of G-senjou, and I alredy tled 1/5 of the game (from japanese to french)
I'm aware the most of you doesn't care (because we all talk english or at least engrish here but well)
And of course will plan to tl a lot of yuri VN in english and french 
So, once this project is done (the date is decided and shouldn't change except if there is some problem, so try to guess when  ) I may take suggestion for my next tl (which will be yuri obviously ^^)
 
I also creating an original vn but can't say anything more about it for now.
