If you love me then say so. But i'll be honest, the game is a bit shit. Light spoilers:
You romance some cute girls with some weird quirks and go through a lenghty and cute route. BUT the game suddenly decides it wants to be dramatic the last hour or so and goes into dramatic overdrive. It turns the route or the heroine on their heads. Perhaps both. Well, this game didnt need the life changing drama it presents. It doesnt fit with the tone of the story. 

I'd like to add one tip (I think it's in the walkthrough too) - when going for next route, always start from New Game, not from save. That way there are some differences in common route, and each time you start new game after completing a route, the characters level up (start with higher stats), which somewhat changes the battles and baseball.

True And some of the titles they give each other afterwards are hilarious

Nothing too serious, but in some routes he's really dense, or does some stupid things, so your experience depends on your tolerance against dense MCs (Yukino's and Ruuna's routes are apparently worst offenders)

Sanoba Witch is good. Cannot vouch for Suki Suki yet, as I just started it. Has many good parts, but choice system is tiresome. Hatsukoi could be nice too, but sometimes MC might make you facepalm They say that Hapymaher suffers from poor translation, which puts me off a little Haven't read Sakura Sakura, MML, DC III and Ef, so cannot reccommend them. So finally my vote goes to Sanoba.

Well so far, I like the slice of life elements between the group (it's also refreshing to have quite a few supporting male leads).

Yikes, we fully agree on something! And the protagonist isn't that bad tbh

I love Mahiru as character, but I would've much preferred they'd taken a different approach to framing her. Instead of being young and childish and spoiled as a result, they could've made her a reasonable age and have her be pampered and simple-minded as a result of her actress status.

The translation is pretty good. All those criticisms regarding localization are some galaxy brain thinking bullshit. I welcome the "dude" change because it makes the game memorable, and it's fun.

OK, I'm out of this thread until I finish the game (yeah, right...) I came to the conclusion that it's better to enjoy VN instead of arguing over translation. It's not like I'm able to convince anybody So guys have fun at it without me 

Nah if you use Cupid's flower you get into a relationship early so you get a bunch of new scenes with the heroine, some pretty adorable ones too

almost fully completed Yuuki's route now, that was pretty good actually, onto Ayame next
 
btw anyone got Rinka to appear yet? Got Chiho on 2nd playthrough but no sign of Rinka

Nah, Steam is completely unrelated to Chuablesoft's bankruptcy. MG has license for SukiSuki, and solved all legal problems - otherwise they couldn't publish it anywhere.
Probably they aren't going to release it on Steam, because there's no all-ages version, and releasing adult high-school based VN there would be quite risky , if even all-ages versions aren't safe, as recent HGB ban has shown...

That might be so - probably using direct (automatic, perhaps) replacement, was a mistake. It should be more context sensitive, since yeah, in h-scenes it might be too funny But then that's editor's screwup However I still think that leaving it as "onii-chan" everywhere would be worse in this case.

Ah yeah, forgot about her. She was great too.
Also, I forgot another great tsundere - Aoba from Kazoku Keikaku
(BTW, just like with YU-NO, character designs in the remake are much worse IMO)

While I was obviously being sarcastic, true, there are several other complaints, none of which are really that big of a deal, and all of which the TLer himself have addressed properly. The fact that people can get this triggered over small details like these never ceases to amaze me.
Meanwhile, no one actually looks at the overall quality of TLs, and only zone in on the lack of honorifics, changes to speech patterns and so on. If you don't want to buy a game over the lack of an onii-chan here and a dude there, fine. But actually suggesting a person be fired over a localization choice that makes perfectly good sense is absolutely absurd, and is frankly insulting to our profession as a whole. Translators need to make some decisions during their TLs and they won't always please everyone. I'd say more, but Meru pretty much summed it up above pretty perfectly, so I'll leave things there.

And who doesn't want to connect with a target audience who requests them to be fired for not leaving in onii-chan in their TL! ^^

But translating what a character is literally saying is not the same as translating the meaning of the text into an equivalent in English. 

To illustrate: I saw an example somewhere (not this game) of someone complaining about お邪魔します being translated as something like "So this is your home". The Japanese literally says "I am intruding", but who says that in English? No one! In this case, "So this is your home, huh" is not a wrong translation, it's an equivalent phrase that reads naturally in English; it coveys a similar intent without coming off as awkward.
And for people who argue that "well they say it in Japan!"; sure, but they also speak Japanese in Japan, so if you're looking for that level of equivalency you're better off just reading in Japanese.
That being said, I don't necessarily agree with all the localization choices my fellow translators make, and I'm sure they don't agree with all of mine! I just think that as fans we're better off focusing on complaining about genuinely bad translations, rather than throwing around insults (actual constructive criticism is fine!) over things that basically amount to personal preference.

It is. All h-scenes are put into after stories.

If you ask for the ones you havent played:
- Mirai from KoiIroChu!
- Saki from Yukizakura
- Nanase from One ~Kagayaku no kisetsu e~
- Yuma and Ruri from ToHeart2
all heroines from Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai road are tsunderes to some degree, but mostly Renna.

SakuSaku and WagaHigh - two pretty good imouto routes.

Yeah, that might be good too. However playing her route first also makes sense from her character development's POV. Whatever the case, Michiru is best to be last from the remaining routes. I went (Chisato) - Satsuki - Isara - Mifuyu - Michiru.

Its great! Play it! My reccomendation is to get a full save (You are normally forced to do Chisato first) and then do the routes in this order: Isara ---> Mifuyu ---> Satsuki or Michiru ---> Chisato. This is assuming you are like me and you like to do true routes last and also like saving the better routes for later.
