    Hello everyone,
I'm back with another progress update.
About the translation, I've finished with the translation of chapter 7, just in time for it to still be within this month XD. I'll start working on chapter 8 soon.
As for the translation check, Danywar has already gone through the prologue. He's currently working on chapter 1, with about 10-15% of it already done.
After all the good news, there's the bad news. We still haven't been able to find an Editor or Image Editor yet. I'll try my best to assemble the whole team as soon as possible. For now, please wait a little longer.
Of course, whether or not the team is fully assembled, we'll continue working on our own parts. Worst case scenario, we'll put some kind of edit in ourselves and release the patch XD. But well, let's hope it won't come to that.
I think that's about it for this update.
Thank you for reading and see you next time ^^.

that´s the common problem i´m having with like 95% of all titles available. people involved in works of literature, goes especially for editors here, should´ ve no right to exist if no being talented in writing themselves - same as a janitor won´t suddenly do a ceo´s work, ungifted schmocks should never be allowed playing author. main issue is not even an inaccurate outcome, but rather the utterly lifeless read one gets to experience as a result. whole thing basically reads like an easy to understand manual for self assembling a closet.

just wanted to say the same. one can basically expect each route being released in a very reasonable timeframe, even more so since both really liked the title, means double the speed - unlike their last one, which still has been done faster than many others.

edit: can´t say arunaru is more slow, when doing gameplay-ish titles does include interfaces etc as well, plus the linecount of all he´s done in recent years easily tops the million mark

Finally we have HatsuKoi append patch finished here, and it mean that the time for Hoshiori project to begin has come. For the premise itself, we have the MC whose an improvement version of HatsuKoi's Yuuma, and more importantly the MC in question (Ryousuke) was come back to his hometown after seven years had been away from it. Other than Ryousuke himself is the improvement from Yuuma, tone work was also starting their trademark in this VN in which the trademark is their long writing in regard of the development, so obviously we'll gonna have a lot of lines (Around 200,000 lines).
Also it's important to note that star will be the major theme in one of the route considering that we have 'Hoshi' in the title (That one route only will be obviously better than the whole localized Miagete, because it'll be uncensored lol), and the whole theme of Hoshiori is the dream for the future (Yume Mirai part) in which it'll depict the characters going forward to their future. Anyway, I'd been looking forward to this and obviously I'll be waiting until the route order announced at Tsurezure later. So feel free to discuss about the project here, although I'll mostly use this thread for reporting the progress though.

facing said dilemma you could also ask yourself whether or not breaking your own dick might make it look better in speedos, seriously though, there isn´t even an opinion to have coming to machine tl´d titles of any kind. stuff is utterly unreadable and simply makes no sense, no matter how you look at it, means fortissimo has no english tl as of yet. nothing to read, nothing to rate.

So just to give an update: I finished translating Saint Irene/Lavria's chapter (Chapter 3) last Friday ^^. Just didn't get to post an update here until now.
Next up would be Chapter 4 (Licia's chapter), and this is going to be the longest chapter to translate with about 12500 lines, so yeah, it's going to take me quite a while to finish translating this.
As for partial patch-wise, I'm still doing final checks on Chapter 2 (Eris' chapter) before handing it to QC. QC on Prologue and Chapter 1 (Fione's chapter) is more or less done, so just Eris' chapter left and some final checks before we release the partial patch

Hello world, been a long while.
So, I've been busy, real busy. But, it's finally going to pay off. We're almost at the goal, and I'd like to thank all of those over here at Fuwa who have stuck around with me until now, be it from the start, or when this project started to gain traction. Thank you so much.
Now then, until next time, when we'll be releasing the full game, after 2,5 and almost three years. Also haven't sold out.

if this is based on the dc version i´ve played years ago then some of the dialogue is still there, no actual porn, but nuances & indications of what´s happening (game been 18+ as well). anyhow i don´t get them people, like this one is mecha, with its plot revolving around existential crisis & whatnot - also pretty much made clear from the beginning - so if its already dark, then some possible rape/ntr shouldn´t feel out of place. sure both aren´t to anyones taste, but even if i were one of those, i´d rather have it that way then some forcibly patched together happy-go-lucky crap. not everything needs to be fluffy as fuck.

you sure love using those harsh words, eh? dunno if it´s intended or just poorly/unlucky worded, but i think the statement as a whole comes across a lot more negative then it probably should. regarding sakurasakura, it´s solpress´s 1st project, and in retrospect they simply shouldn´t have made any release estimates public. on the other hand, if they hadn´t been working on upscaling things & other technical whatnot, people also would´ve complained upon release, like you know those ever nagging hd-ultra fetishists, giving a fuck about actual plot as long as all is shiny. btw you using the term "untrustworthy" here is also no good. not wanting to whiteknight them, but like mentioned it´s one project out of god knows how many + they´d been semi-regularly putting out weekly/monthly wrap-ups & did release a small bunch of products as of now.

& about frontwing milking their franchise, phantom trigger being a whole new series aside, which company really isn´t? not to mention them also releasing other titles along the lines, 3rd party and own. doesn´t really make sense to me

KICKSTART A LOWLY SQUIRE'S LOVE LIFE!
Love Esquire's Kickstarter is live now! The game still has a long way to go, but with your help, we can bring this game to life! Support us on Kickstarter and help us realize our dreams for the game!

DOWNLOAD: WINDOWS • MAC • LINUX

*Please take note that this is an alpha demo; everything is still a work-in-progress and may change in the final game. If you encounter any problems or bugs, please let us know ASAP! Don't forget to answer the survey found at the end for a special wallpaper!
Love Esquire is a romantic-comedy visual novel/dating simulator, with a nostalgic touch of old-school RPG combat.
In this game, you're not a famous knight, but a good-for-nothing squire who's on a quest to find man's greatest pleasure. Getting the girl won't be easy though, since most of them are waaay out of your league!
To make things worse: you have a few months left before this huge war happens, and the only thing you know is how to milk cows. Good luck cramming years worth of training into four months! If it's any consolation, you get a medal if you die. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No one believes that a lowly squire can save the world while banging – err, bagging – the girl of his dreams... but with a shitton of dumb luck, well... you might just prove them wrong!
Welcome to the world of Love Esquire, and may the fertility god have mercy on your virginity.

Nameable Hero – Whose name will these girls cry out during those scenes? You decide! 5 Dateable Waifus – More than just pretty faces, the ladies of Love Esquire have their own unique personalities, story arcs, and backstories! Turn-based combat with a twist – As a squire, you have a number of “unconventional” ways to assist your needy knight. Properly time your actions to unleash the full potential of your skills which are simply... out of this world! Manage your day – Allocate what little time you have in this world by forcing yourself to socialize or doing your job as a squire barely living on minimum wage.  Git gud by raising stats – Stats will have an impact on your skills during combat, and they also affect your relationship with the girls. In other words, shape up to be the ideal man for the best results! Forge Relationships – Get to know your waifu on a personal level by being around her and talking about stuff. Sure, she’ll think you’re a creep at first, but persistence is key! As she eventually warms up to you, find out how there’s more to her than meets the eye.  Multiple Endings – What’s waiting for your squire at the end of the journey? Make decisions that will end up great or turn out to be otherwise. Partially Voiced – So you can hear your waifus partially express their partially undying love for you! Mature Content – This game contains subjects and themes your parents warned you about as a kid.  Moddable Content – The game will support simple modding on release. To be discussed in a future update. Original Soundtrack – We want you to experience the feels while playing this game, and our soundtrack will see to that!

Having lived most of his life as a farm boy, you take control of the inexperienced and carefree Squire. Watch him grow to become the ideal man and overcome the various challenges he's yet to face.
His fate (and virginity) rests in your hands.

Depending on how smooth the development goes, we're looking at a late-2018 to mid-2019 release for Love Esquire. It will be distributed on Steam and Itch.io (Windows/Mac/Linux), followed by a mobile release (Android/iOS) a few months after. We don't have any plans for a console release, but that's something we might possibly consider once the game is out.

The Letter was a successful Kickstarter project and a highly-rated game; it is our validation to everyone that we're not only capable of completing this project, but also delivering it up to standards.
With your help, we're hoping Love Esquire to become our best game yet!

What do you think of the game's concept? Do you like it? Hate it? What do you think of the characters currently presented? Do you have someone you find interesting in particular? Did you enjoy the RPG elements of the game? What were your favorite parts about it? Any other suggestions, comments, critiques?
