  1. Welcome to the forum, and hope you enjoyed yourself here. Okay, I knew that was cliche. As for the introduction, I think you still quite early, because I remember that I introduce myself after I posted 41 post here and I'd also remember that one member reintroduce himself with 2,300 post number. For piracy, well it's also major problem in Indonesia and it was very heavily divisive topic, so let's leave it at that. As for Overflow, I think the company now has tendency to exploit 'Days' franchise, although guess it would be common sense (But the game was too heavy ie required more than 10 GB HDD size and the engine was infamously buggy). For your post, I think it's okay if you want to post long here, and I think it's okay if you post something big here at least from my experience. Anyway, that's all for my thought about your introduction and for the reply of your Japanese word, I would said 'Nice to meet you too, and hope we could meet more often here'.
  2. Happy 29th birthday, @Getsuya even though recently you kinda didn't come here for a long time. Also thanks for in here from the beginning of Fuwanovel (Although I didn't knew your old user name though).
  3. Visual Novel Translation Status (04/23/2016) Well, sorry for cliche title this week, but it's quite confusing to made the title from 4 release this week and I'd find it hard to find fitting title if I tried to combine 2 releases. So, I'd decided to take one title (In this case Narcissu), using hanakatoba (Flower language) from iris (It was Narcissu title), and I'd decided to use 'A Little Good News' as review title this week. Oh, hanakatoba from iris mean good news which figured kinda fitting for this week release, and for the little you should knew why. Oh, about hate mail to Tay, my opinion that you should ignore them since I think it was your right to cover otome game even though I didn't wait for otome game release though. For ChuSingura, I think at this time it's sound fishy so it was not included there, although congratulations for gathering 5,000 at this time I guess. Anyway, here's another week for my VNTS commentary. As for the release, the most good news to me was definitely not Vega, the otome games, or the title inspiration itself. In fact, actually it was the third picture in VNTS Header Image. Although you may already knew, I'll give commentary below. Anyway, other than the good news itself and some from fan translation one, there's not much interesting news though, although Mangagamer will release the first translated Drama CD though by using the subbed video as the mean to understand the Drama CD. But for more interesting news from Mangagamer we must wait for another week. Sekai Project Okay, first Sekai managed to release Narcissu side episode, which the tile was 'A Little Iris'. As for translation progress, now KARAKARA was fully translated, Maitetsu was at 10.14%, and WEE was at 58.31%. I think with this kind of progress KARAKARA would be only short title, judging from the budget and the speed of translating, although once again don't underestimate the short VN. As for WEE, it's good for WEE fans because I'd heard that the 2nd game was ended in cliffhanger. Other than that, I think not much comment needed from Sekai segment. One last note, I just want to get Root Double status now. Although with our Decay already got his review copy, it should be not that long I guess. Fan Translation While the good news wasn't came from this section, this section actually had the most interesting progress as of this week. First, as usual Astral Air progress was stable and congratulations for reaching three quarter of the translation progress (Or to be exact the progress was at 75.20%). As for Ren's Aokana project, well let's see what kind of news that he'll bring this Monday, although I'm not surprised that the 2nd translation group was not be able to deliver translation patch itself, and the leader had to blame us to boot for his failure (Well, normally the people should be either not promising something ridiculous, or just work on it even if some people not supporting you). Bishoujo Mangekyou, let's said that the progress at this time was 59.75% (Actually 4 of 8 scripts fully translated and the 5th script was at 78% translation). For ToHeart 2, at this time it was 70% editied according to ittaku, and he was planning to release another beta patch at this week. For @Dergonu project, looks like you got one very good candidate for your TLC. Just ask him if you had doubt about his capability ie see his Youtube channel. Oh, another new project was established today, and it was Nijima Yuu project after he was out from Saga Planet. Check the project page here, and good luck @Hasa. Hopefully if this successful this will be the first Nijima Yuu work translated, because back there NatsuNagi translation was scam and troll project (Probably they made wordpress page after they drink 5,000 gallons of beer. Sorry, but I waited for this and only to find that it was false hope), and HatsuSaku was stalled (Probably because of real life thing) while the last progress recorded was at 19% iirc. JAST USA This time I'll give JAST USA a section, because this week actually the good news itself came from this. Okay, as for the round up progress, Flower was at 25% reediting from the bad translation, Schatten was 94% translated, Sonicomi was debugging, and Sweet Home was at 100% translated. For my comment about this, Sweet Home was 2007 production nukige, Schatten was another VN that the heroine had similarity as Saber from Fate franchise after Princess Waltz, and Flower was like first attempt that Innocent Gray made to step into all age, less gory and girls love VN. Honestly, other than Flower (Which actually still first part, so not excited so much) there's not much that I look forward from JAST translation progress. Finally, this is actually the good news. And as we knew Seinarukana was finally released this week. If we knew the history about VN Translation, Seinarukana here was definitely full of it. It was actually stated to be released back at 2012 in VNDB, only to be cancelled. It also had some drama, like 2 translators was gone missing and TL Wiki page for Seinarukana was abandoned back in 2013. Okay, maybe I'll tell the full story in Seinarukana thread later. But either way for the player who already got this, happy playing. That's all for my VNTS Review this week. Sorry if I miss some of the update here.
  4. Finishing Michika route. For Michika, she was quite less talkative compared to Koharu, her hobby is reading the book (Trusted or untrusted) and she was quite knowledgeable about sex. Oh, she was call MC Nii-sama (Although by she called MC politely didn't stop her to dominate MC though). For the seiyuu, she voiced by Nakaya Shiho who voiced Fianna in Romanesque, Ruriko in Evangile, and Ashoka in Eiyuu Senki. My comment on the route is that the scene was involving female domination (Femdom) and S&M. This route bring me two 'what' moment, the first would be Michika using strap-on to anally rape MC and the second would be the ending. The drama was once again involved jealousy from the heroine in regard of MC treatment to other imouto (Don't tell me it'll be all the drama for all Imopara route), although the way Michika deal with that was scary (It was related to my first 'what' moment). Oh, Michika was also forbid MC to masturbate for 10 days (Well, technically no ejaculate, but still), and I think it's the time when I want to said that MC here is the most horny MC I'd ever seen in any nukige. I mean, what's wrong with no masturbation for 10 days, are you like dog in heat that you always get erection very easily (No wonder Michika treat you like a dog). Don't tell me that he masturbate every day. Well, I think I could only comment that MC capability to get horny was seriously unbelievable (Although maybe it's normal for nukige), although for femdom fan Michika route will be a treat. For next time, I'll go with Rio's route, and finally Aya's route. As for harem's route, well I don't know if I'll play it.
  5. Maybe this is not VN, but it's still connected to Yurirei, so I'll post the link here. In case you didn't click the link yet, it was in regard of the Drama CG was now ready for preorder. So, apparently Mangagamer was choose to release it undubbed with the subbed video. Good strategy to save the cost, although I should see it from the very beginning though because I'd predict that Mangagamer will release it with translated script only, but here Mangagamer will release it with subbed video. As for release date, it will be available on April 26th on Steam. For the story, I think any fan of AnoNena will be overjoyed from reading the synopsis there, and it made them sort of canon. Oh, the story was in regard of Ano who had too much fan following her. In order to help Ano, Yuna suggesting fake couple strategy (Any genre savvy in regard of romance story should knew where fake couple strategy will be headed). From the synopsis, I think this drama CD once again will help to resolve one loose end from Yurirei, and Yurirei fan should definitely happy with this release. Oh, by the way Yurirei had 4 drama CD, and this is 1st volume for Yurirei Drama CD. Almost forget, the Drama CD name was 'Playing Girlfriend'.
  6. For my last post on this thread (Maybe not, and we already had Seinarukana discussion thread by Decay, so if some of you want to discuss Seinarukana just write in Decay's thread here), I'll try to answer wyldstrykr question. 1. I think actually you didn't need worry too much in regard of that, because according to Decay Seinarukana story was unrelated to the first game. 2. Not, but if you really insist to play Eien no Aselia, play Aselia route because it was canon. Although I would suggest that you better just jump to Seinarukana directly, I think Eien no Aselia was also the good game so I think there's no reason to not play both Seinarukana and Eien no Aselia. To kryt, interesting info although at that time some people was already satisfied with uncensored Seinarukana though. Although the extra content maybe should made some people reconsider to get Steam version there.
  7. How about Tokyo Babel which is just recently translated? Fate Stay Night and Ever17 should be good too (Also don't forget Remember11). Oh, Umineko and Rose Gun Days also good. For the last recommendtion, eden was good if you want good visual. Hope my recommendation help you.
  8. To OP, if you want the VN with kind of sex jokes, maybe Noble Works and Dracu Riot should good enough. And if you want the VN that almost same as Grisaia in term of MC, maybe Sharin no Kuni also good. Although I don't know if those VN had same sense of humor as Grisaia or not though to OP but hopefully my suggestion would be useful here.
  9. Just want to inform that at this time the Kickstarter was already reached the goal. Congratulations, and hope the development would be resulted in good Bloody Chronicle VN.
  10. For the video, my comment would be that even Sekai was posting the opening without cut for Root Double (RD) back at their campaign, you know (And RD campaign was criticized heavily). Maybe after this blunder they'll post the opening without cut (Hopefully, but this should be common sense for the campaign). As for the campaign itself, well it's good that they gather around 4,500 I guess. But we still had 43 days to see if they success or fail though.
  11. I just back to browse Fuwanovel and saw this. My comment would be they'll probably add the voice because they state that HDD size was 1.5 GB, the seiyuu was experienced in voicing eroge character, Steam release mean that there will be no explicit content, and my first though the moment I saw the title would be Huniepop as well. I think I'll just see it in July if this game was as good as Huniepop or not later.
  12. Tried to challenge the infamous machine translation from Flyable Heart. To be honest, while the translation was quite off (And sometimes I need to reread it in order to understand it) I think it's still not too bad though compared to Soukoku narration translation (I might be wrong here). Actually, instead of complaining about the translation, I want to complained about the font choice which frankly was very awful. For my opinion about this game, I think the OP was very catchy, the character design was quite cute and MC was like to eat very much.
  13. Guess I learned another new thing today. So it depend on the vote I supposed. Actually, as far as VNDB rating I always use Bayesian one, because if we sort VNDB list from the score it'll be listing Bayesian one instead of average one. But I think both score should be good indicator of how good VN is (Most of the time anyway). Oh, and about average score Tokyo Babel was indeed raise up to 7.94 at this time (I forget how much the average score back before English release, but I still remember that Bayesian score for Tokyo Babel was around 7.0 or somewhere around that before English release).
  14. I just visited Mangagamer twitter and find the link to another Tokyo Babel review, and this time from Operation Rain Fall blog. This time the review was split into 2 pages, so I'll give the link for page 1 and page 2. I think this review is the most positive one other than from Fuwanovel in regard of Tokyo Babel after English release. If some of you not satisfied reading previous 2 reviews (Especially the first one), I think this review will more satisfying. One more thing, at this time Tokyo Babel Bayesian score was at 7.48 and I must said it was quite big jump compared to previous month. Well, either way I'm glad Tokyo Babel was accepted in English speaking community.
  15. Welcome to the Fuwanovel and hope you enjoy yourself here. If you want to talk about Persona, you could go to video game section here. As for VN we indeed had some variety here, though mostly it was like ADV games though. Anyway, if you need some help about VN, just ask us here.
  16. If mod Nosebleed think this thread is a horrible idea, I think this thread was useful to cure boredom for some member who argue here I supposed (Although I understand that this is one of Fuwanovel tradition here I guess). Anyway, if I may said I think the idea of removing Extra Mode was pointless if the goal was to made the difference between low price and normal price (Not that I care anyway since this game already discussed to the death out there, even if the translation was quite fanfic level according to conjueror). And even if it's the Frontwing's right to remove extra mode, I said once again it would be pointless move (For emphasize here). For the conclusion, I think my opinion that I wouldn't care about this kind of Prefundia too much, since well we already got Sharin translated for a long time. But if for example Sharin was about to localized and not translated yet, I think it's deserved the heat if Frontwing really plan to cut the Extra Mode. PS - Although I said Frontwing did some pointless move, guess it's still good if they really want to expand outside Japan and I think Sharin could be the good VN that will introduce many new VN player to Visual Novel in the future.
  17. I'd just played some part of Osanajimi wa Daitoryu, and after I heard Qoo voice I think this time Ringorin use the same range as Qoo for voicing Sayo here. As for the progress of the patch, I kind want to know how much the progress is, but hopefully it will be delivered in 1.5 months later (Hey, the promise is 2 months and it's already over half a month). Well, once again looking forward to patch completion.
  18. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you enjoyed yourself here. As for VN, since you newbie Katawa Shoujo should be the good choice just like Deep Blue said, but if you want more Shuffle or ToHeart 2 should be the good choice. About activity in forum, I think I'm still new in this category but don't worry, you'll get used in this forum quickly. Oh, by the way expect moe picture soon or later in your thread if I may give advice in regard of this forum activity.
  19. To diamon, thanks for the solution here. I tried it and now it could display the backlog. And I got it work by rendering DirectX or Software (Rendering OpenGL didn't work, so maybe my OpenGL was indeed outdated here).
  20. Somehow this April we had many exciting release of VN and in here we managed to had the exciting VN discussion opened by 4 different people (Dangan Ronpa 2 by me, Tokyo Babel by Rooke, Dracu Riot by Arcadeotic, and now Seinarukana by Decay). Actually I want to open Seinarukana discussion here, but I still didn't knew if the timing was off or not. Sorry, just want to express my opinion a little bit here. Anyway, Seinarukana translation was surely had many history here from back at 2012. I'll give some detail about this game later in term of seiyuu and the history of the translation. Anyway, had fun and use this thread as Seinarukana discussion page here. Oh, I already want to post aroduc's thought in regard of translation from the moment he wrote it, but here's his thought for anyone who want to know in regard of translation for Seinarukana. As for me, hopefully by end of April I'll got this game.
  21. To answer tiagofvarela question, yes it include dub although the game was only partially voiced though. And if you ask is it included original Japanese, then the answer would be yes as well. For more info, Dangan Ronpa PC port also like this in term of voice as well.
  22. Oh, by the way I forgot to mention one important fact, but Danganronpa series was actually port from PSP version. Although it may already known though. Anyway, as promised I'll list all of the seiyuu who voicing the character here. But first there was 3 returning seiyuu from Dangan Ronpa, they were Megumi Ogata (Yume from Koichoco, Mirror from Dengeki Stryker), Akira Ishida, and Nobuyo Ooyama. For new seiyuu and the character we had (I'll use format title - name - seiyuu (any role in translated VN)), and if you want more info about seiyuu, just click MAL link and you could see that they were professional seiyuu. MC - Hinata Hajime - Minami Takayama Ultimate Lucky Student - Komaeda Nagito - Megumi Ogata (Actually same seiyuu as Danganronpa MC, and also same title) Ultimate Affluent Progeny - Togami Byakuya - Akira Ishida (Returning character from Dangan Ronpa, and I think he was become glutton after Dangan Ronpa event so much he became fatter) Ultimate Gamer - Nanami Chiaki - HanaKana (Raziel from Tokyo Babel, Kagari from Rewrite, Shiina Mayuri from Steins Gate) Ultimate Nurse - Tsumiki Mikan - Ai Kayano (Eve from Tokyo Babel) Ultimate Swordswoman - Pekoyama Peko - Kotono Mitsuishi Ultimate Cook - Hanamura Teruteru - Jun Fukuyama (Maou from G-Senjou no Maou, Itabashi Wataru from Da Capo 2) Ultimate Photographer - Koizumi Mahiru - Kobayashi Yuu (Kanon from Umineko, Urushibara Ruka from Steins Gate) Ultimate Yakuza - Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko - Daisuke Kishio (Suginami from Da Capo franchise) Ultimate Breeder - Tanaka Gundham - Tomokazu Sugita (Ronove from Umineko, Inoue Jun from Majikoi) Ultimate Mechanic - Souda Kazuichi - Hosoya Yoshimasa Ultimate Princess - Sonia Nevermind - Arakawa Miho Ultimate Musician - Mioda Ibuki - Ami Koshimizu (Ushiromiya Rosa from Umineko) Ultimate Team Manager - Nidai Nekomaru - Yasumoto Hiroki Ultimate Gymnast - Owari Akane - Romi Park Ultimate Traditional Dancer - Saionji Hiyoko - Mimori Suzuko (Love Live fan may knew her voice as Sonoda Umi) I think as we can see we had 16 character who will participate in this exciting holiday. And the question is who will survive from this holiday. Well have fun to find it out.
  23. Happy early birthday to @LiquidShu today. Hope you get well in upcoming year (Another cliche word that I already mastered here), and I'd remember that I see you in solidbatman thread about removal of rating system. And also hoping that we could meet each other here more.
  24. Finishing Hiyori route, and the drama here once again quite standard, involving some kind of jealousy and Hiyori feel she couldn't grow up (Well, this is moe nukige so no need to had complicated character drama here). And for the seiyuu there's no much credit other than she was voicing Mizuhara Touko back in Kara no Shoujo. For her scenes, it was involving her masturbating and embarrassment. And the last scene before ending was involving her having sex with Onii-chan in front of door (By the way, Hiyori like to call MC onii-chan) and find out by other 4 imouto. I think that's all I could comment for Hiyori's route. Oh by the way compared to Koharu Hiyori was quite shy and easily cried, also quite naive by believing that masturbate would made her into adult. For next route, let's see if I could write my thought about Michika here later. Oh, I saw Michika first scene and it involved MC was tied up in the bed.
  25. Okay, I just go to erogames forum and see that JAPAN CONTENT response to the commentary at the Disqus here. From the comment, at this moment I think I only understand that at least they will not release mobage version and they'll considering to release demo version. As for demo planning, I think my concern should be the voice for now although it's understandable that the user here would complain if for the example the translation was as bad as Flower (To be honest I didn't had any problem with that though). I think it's better if some user here try to learn what JAPAN want to said by yourselves there.
