  1. Happy early birthday to @LiquidShu today. Hope you get well in upcoming year (Another cliche word that I already mastered here), and I'd remember that I see you in solidbatman thread about removal of rating system. And also hoping that we could meet each other here more.
  2. Finishing Hiyori route, and the drama here once again quite standard, involving some kind of jealousy and Hiyori feel she couldn't grow up (Well, this is moe nukige so no need to had complicated character drama here). And for the seiyuu there's no much credit other than she was voicing Mizuhara Touko back in Kara no Shoujo. For her scenes, it was involving her masturbating and embarrassment. And the last scene before ending was involving her having sex with Onii-chan in front of door (By the way, Hiyori like to call MC onii-chan) and find out by other 4 imouto. I think that's all I could comment for Hiyori's route. Oh by the way compared to Koharu Hiyori was quite shy and easily cried, also quite naive by believing that masturbate would made her into adult. For next route, let's see if I could write my thought about Michika here later. Oh, I saw Michika first scene and it involved MC was tied up in the bed.
  3. Okay, I just go to erogames forum and see that JAPAN CONTENT response to the commentary at the Disqus here. From the comment, at this moment I think I only understand that at least they will not release mobage version and they'll considering to release demo version. As for demo planning, I think my concern should be the voice for now although it's understandable that the user here would complain if for the example the translation was as bad as Flower (To be honest I didn't had any problem with that though). I think it's better if some user here try to learn what JAPAN want to said by yourselves there.
  4. Let me tried to comment on some content here. 1. Maitetsu, good luck I supposed. Although I'd read somewhere (Either in VNDB or Fuwanovel) that sex content in Maitetsu was like only unlockable at the end like eden Mosaic Plus, so I think if Sekai want to operate Denpasoft well they could sell Maitetsu uncensored there I think. 2. Kokonoe Kokore, okay anyone here wishing that their little sister was a bat and the childhood friend was grasshopper? If so I think it's actually very sad news for them (Not to me though). For Indonesian user here, just take a look at Jurnal Otaku Indonesia article here and if some of non Indonesian see the link, just look at the picture and judge by yourself if the picture was good or not for you as deciding factor to buying this VN (Even if I could buy, I'll definitely not buy this). 3. FF8, I'd remember that it had quite addictive card game with complicated rule that you should not spreading random rule and it's quite Guide Dang It, the summon was functioning as the equip that determined character strength, and it had some kind of divisive love story (Well, FF8 itself was quite divisive). I think I had fun playing this game, although if some of you who read this interested to play this game my advice would be don't depend on summon too much and try some junctioning (Or just follow a guide from Gamefaqs). 4. I think if that's the reason Dovac was so irritated back at VNDB forum, I understand (Well, he need to deal with consumer and the producer who wish opposite) although his attitude there definitely didn't help the case at all. As for the reason, I think AKB2 was trying to avoid controversy like Rapelay (Okay, let's stop it here and just google it if you want to know more) or maybe just want to try Steam since Steam requirement was no explicit sex content. 11. About Root Double, well hopefully they could clear complicated matter soon, but if Regista/Yeti still had some doubt let's just said that I'm still willing wait for another 41 days until May end. After all, I think this is the only thing that worth to look forward from Sekai at this time. As for the rest it's quite complicated although interesting trivia, like Sekai won't adapt Frontwing decision or they'll try to learn of how to enter AO title to Steam by using Gahktun as example. I think that's all for my comment here now.
  5. Okay, as promised after I got some help from zenophilious here of how to attach the image, I'll give you of how backlog error in my laptop. Below is the picture. And another is with the text at topmost backlog Hopefully from the image diamon could fix the error. Oh, and may I ask for direct link to the patch, since I'd already tried to redownload from Steam, but it still had backlog error. Thanks in advance.
  6. As we knew at April 18th Dangan Ronpa 2 was finally released on Steam, and we obviously should knew that this game was the sequel for Dangan Ronpa. For Dangan Ronpa, my first impression would be the game looks like a bit over the top with Ultimate student thing, but guess it's quite acceptable if the setting was also over the top here. The premise was actually a bit questionable with the students must kill each another to get out from the school that trapped them. The principal (Monokuma) was the one who trapped the students and establishing the strict rule. My attention was obviously to the seiyuu here though. In fact, even though Dangan Ronpa was only partially voiced (Maybe to save some memory and cost), the seiyuu was definitely not an amateur. In fact back in Dangan Ronpa 1, we got name like Megumi Ogata, Hisaka Youko, Sawashiro Miyuki, and many more. And more famous seiyuu had voicing the characters in Dangan Ronpa 2 by the way. I'll give the list to MAL link for each seiyuu later. For the premise here, actually it was sort of different for the beginning since the students was brought to tropical island by a rabbit called Monomi. She said that she bring them to field trip. And sometimes later Monokuma decided to join for fun and establishing a strict rule on the island. The rule was the same as back in Dangan Ronpa 1. Oh, actually Monokuma and Monomi was sort of artificial doll who could talk there. And from the moment Monokuma announce the strict rule, the vacation on tropical island was turned into slightly dangerous area, since with that rule some students obviously could be tempted to do the bad thing, killing his/her friend (Actually same thing also happened back in first game). Actually, this series had some sort of gameplay called class trial, which remind us of Phoenix Wright. And the reason for establishment was to find out the murder culprit each time murder occurred. Oh, I forgot to explain that if the murder occurred and the killer was unknown in the court, Monokuma will made the killer got Karma Houdini trope (Just google it since I kind of dislike the trope) and killed the rest of the student. While if the killer was found, he/she will be executed (And to be honest from the execution scene I saw on Youtube, the scene was so over the top that made me giggled instead of fear (Although the death was obviously horrifying)). And since MC in almost all of the mystery story should be not the killer, your job was to find out who's the culprit each time a trial occurred. I think that's all I could write for, and I'll add seiyuu info for each character later. Oh, and had fun to discuss the game here. And here's my advice, don't get to attached to any character because it could be your favorite character that would be died, either by execution or be killed (But if your favorite character was MC himself, you didn't need to worry and you may get attached to MC himself I supposed).
  7. Thanks for the playlist, mod zenophilious. And if you feel that Tokyo Babel OST was good, then what Clephas said was true, no bad OST in propeller games, or Tokyo Babel in this case.
  8. If Diamon want to know the feedback for Lucid9, here's the review from Gamer Escape. The response was quite positive I see, and the reviewer said that this game was deserved to get the same attention as Katawa Shoujo. Hopefully Diamon like the review there.
  9. If you ask my experience, then I would said yes I had the problem to edit my post on mobile phone. Sometimes I could edit my post in one phone and sometimes not. Just want to share, I remember that I want to edit one of my post here from my tab, and just like you after I edit it (And several minutes of thinking what should I write) I was obviously click save and after several attempt it still didn't respond. Although I still didn't try using desktop version on my tab, I figured that was more trouble than worth it so I just resort to my laptop if I want to edit my post here. Oh, I think I could still add my post from the tab though. And I also had similar experience back in VNDB when one time I type the word too much and somehow it didn't respond when I want to delete it (Resulted in messy post back there). For the conclusion, my experience regarding that was other than editing post, I think I didn't had much complain (Although guess I'd more comfortable to use laptop or computer to made my post here, so I'd usually just use tab to read the forum anyway).
  10. My comment, well why they should ripped Extra Mode while this should be normal featured for all of the VN out there. In this case since Sharin was already translated long time ago, I think it's once again already obsolete and therefore no need for this version imo (But to some newcomer and the people who not satisfied with old translation this version should be good). Oh, since Rooke here suggesting to made the new scene integral to the story, I kind of wonder if this is actually the real reason they omitted the voice here (Although it's still unnecessary move though). I said this because I remember that Eiyuu Senki also did that with the new scene was had no voice (But all of the other scene other than new one still voiced). Well, let's see it later. To answer bigfatround0 question, I think the scene in question would be at the beginning of chapter 2, and it's not with Eri but with Ririko (I think it's just Deep Blue did the typo there). About my rationality, to be honest I couldn't call myself the calmest and the most rational person in the world, but seeing as we already had this game translated long ago with the benefit they'll cut I think there's no need the reason to be freak out here. Finally as for Frontwing becoming localization company, guess it will be interesting to see how it will goes for sure (And hopefully with they announce Island for Steam or something like that, since Island was all age I think there's should no need for controversy in regard of H-Scene removal just like this one and especially Konosora). I think that's all I could write here.
  11. Island. The first thing I knew it was from moogy tweet back at April's Fool. I kind of curious why this new release was worth to be include as a part of April Fool in regard of translation (Normally it should be good to gather some attention I mean), and from this thread and VNDB staff list I understand why. Well, maybe from Conjueror post all of you was already knew, but the writer for this game was also Himawari's writer, and one of the CG that post here remind me the drawing from Himawari remake and it turn out that the character design was also responsible for Himawari remake character design. For the opening, I think it was good. As for the seiyuu, the most senior one here would be Yukari Tamura, although for 2 other heroines I see the seiyuu also had some experience in term of voicing characters at many anime. Since this project is Frontwing 15th anniversary and all age to boot, maybe they'll prepare it for the Steam. I mean well they already tried that with Sharin localization right now, so I think it's nothing wrong by trying to do that with their own VN in the future, right? Well, I'll see it later, and as for expectation, hopefully Island full version would fulfill everyone expectation (Although I won't play this though for obvious reason). And for a little OOT in response to Ren Grisaia topic, I think just Kajitsu would be fine and if we want to knew our Yuuji a little bit, then Meikyuu would be a little necessary I supposed. But if that game considering as trilogy, well I had slightly doubt about that. Well, if we compared to Grisaia, hopefully here Frontwing wouldn't introduce supposedly posthumous character that revived in future sequels because the request from the higher up or something like that (I'm looking at you Kazuki). And obviously hopefully Frontwing would only need one game to develop all story in Island, although if we look from the writer it should be possible, although it may need fandisc though. And for everyone who could read Japan, good luck and hopefully Island satisfy all of you.
  12. As soon as I saw the company, I'd just guess that MANYO and Shimotsuki Haruka would be involved in this and it's proved right in VNDB. As for the company (Cabbit), they also produce Midori no Umi which I'd said that the OP was very calming, and for the info the composer was MANYO (The singer was Shimotsuki Haruka). PS - Oh, the BGM was quite calming with violin if you ask my opinion.
  13. Well, sorry there Fred. Looks like I miss the joke there. My bet was based on the release date, and I think I just using my experience to guess based on that, like when I browse in some site and find Crescendo as one of best VN. Although if we talked about the VN player from 2012, the answer of the first VN should be obvious *facepalm*. But I think while my answer was wrong there, Crescendo still good VN for the beginner, especially back when there's many release from G-Collection (You know what) and I think it still is. PS - To OP wolfrayet, if you interested to talk about VN Translation history, I think I could try to tell the story about it although it may not quite comprehensive though.
  14. Welcome to the forum, and if I may guess your first VN according to your VN list, maybe Crescendo? Anyway, hope you had fun here and enjoying yourself here. Oh, if you need some help in regard of VN don't hesitate to ask us here.
  15. Another one member here had birthday today, and guess who? It was one of four 'Elite Four of Fuwanovel' (My term for global mod in case you just read it here for the first time), and by the way maybe it's still too early in your country but in here it's already 2 AM at April 19th, so I said happy early 23rd birthday to @Down here. Thanks for all of your effort to moderate the forum here, and hope you get well in upcoming years.
  16. I don't know about the answer, but maybe being sent to duplicator didn't mean to be duplicated as soon as possible (And I think it's more possible if the duplicator was had same principle as JAST, delay).
  17. Typo aside, I think this is definitely good news, even though I'd find it late. I think it's probably mean that Seinarukana was about to be released here, because JAST finally duplicate it to be shipping worldwide. Well, hopefully it will be released in this end year at very latest (Better be wary about release time if we talk about JAST here).
  18. Welcome to Fuwanovel. As for the VN that was your project I think the premise was quite interesting to said the but good luck on your translation project. Oh, I hope you had fun here and you better expected moe pictures in your this thread sometimes in the future.
  19. For the cliche word here "Welcome to the Fuwanovel and hope you enjoy your stay here", although I'd definitely happy we got another new member here though. If you talked about Love Live, I think there were some user here who was fans of it, and I at least knew that @Jade and @bigfatround0 was fan of them (Although for bigfatround0 he was more Honoka fan though, judging from his avatar). As for me, I'm not too much of a fan, but at least I knew that Love Live was very popular in internet and also in Japan. Since you talk about Sono Hanabira, for yuri VN how about Katahane, Aoishiro, and Yurirei for your next VN. Katahane and Aoishiro was more like more subtle in regard of yuri (And Katahane was had one straight couple, but if you want more nitpicking the seiyuu for male in straight couple was female), while Yurirei was not so subtle in regard of yuri. And if you had any problem to playing VN, just come here and ask the help from us. Once again welcome to moonstarfc and hope you had fun here. Also for a little suggestion you better look forward for moe picture in your thread.
  20. I see, so apparently the user there was too excited so much that he was mistake the key for Root Double. I'm sorry then if my previous post cause some misunderstanding, although I guess the post still not totally worthless then if I could got the confirmation that you already received the review key there, Decay. Guess I'll be waiting then, beside it's only 12 days left for April 2016 anyway, so it's not like long wait either. And once again looking forward to your review, Decay. PS - By the way, once again I would not be so surprised if Regista once again managed to force Sekai to delay the release up to May, but I'm still hoping for April release, okay.
  21. Another bump, and this time would be in regard of this post from Steam User that was take my interest here. Especially in regard that he already got the Steam Key for Root Double. Well, with this kind of PR that Sekai doing, even if the information was slightly untrustworthy it's still worth to post here, and even if it's only from Steam user. Oh, I interpret the Steam post as the release for Root Double was almost coming, hopefully in few days or at most will be on April 30th (Although if there's another delay to May I wouldn't be surprise here).
  22. Well, I didn't know how should I contribute here other than this thread remind me again why translation will always matter of debate forever, either with localization or literal translation. If you ask me whether the translation is understandable or not, then I would said yes I understand, but it's more likely because I didn't understand Japanese spoken voice though and it's more like a necessary skill to play VN that you must understand English first (Since understandable language to me was English compared to Japan). I think I couldn't said anything in regard of kirashi other than I think just said your learning English and Japanese right now and complained Tokyo Babel translation was bad or suck will not help your case here, but I understand that learning English might be too difficult for you here though. And one more advice, instead depend on dictionary, I think you should using Google to search hard to understand word and from there you hopefully could decipher it using dictionary.
  23. My comment regarding no voice thing, er...... at least it could compress the size of the game itself if you ask me what's the advantage if they port mobage to PC (Although if the game size was same as PC and it still didn't had voice, well I think it's understandable if VN fan throw a tantrum to the localization company itself). To be honest, if the mobile version will really had no voice for throughout all 5 chapters just like the first scene that's actually understandable since normally mobile version had little size to adapt smaller size of phone storage iirc. Anyway, I think for mobile to PC port I still forgive if they need to cut H-Scene, but if they port voiceless version to PC while they also had original PC version, no comment other than hope the project was failed (And it's also a shame because we had many talented seiyuu like Kawashima Rino and Isshiki Hikaru). This is also not Mangagamer case either which back there they need to cut the voice for Koihime Musou and Kara no Shoujo because of licensing cost (Probably) and they probably didn't had enough budget back there. While in here I think the localization team could count how much cost for licensing seiyuu and made a demand on Kickstarter (Of course they need to take the campaign very seriously) to cover it. My conclusion for this would be if they campaign for mobile version port which had disadvantage with no voice, I think I'll just hope it'll be failed and the localization team learned from their mistake (Although if I'll play this game or not with crappy mobile port later is another matter there).
  24. Happy birthday to @arakura, even though I'm not see you a lot in Visual Novel Discussion segment. Hope your upcoming year well, and thanks for your confession in the thread of Fuwanovel Confession I guess.
  25. Visual Novel Translation Status (04/16/2016) Another 4 release, and for this time I used combination between Lucid9 and Campus Note to made it into 'The Lucid Note'. Coincidentally it was also name of failed kickstarted project here, so guess I help to revive the project here. Well, let's get back to usual business here which of course my commentary for VNTS for this week. And since Decay mentioned that Tay still helping even if he studying, I'd also should thank him as well here. From 4 release at this week I think only Lucid 9 that interest me. Asagi? Well, let's just said I'd far more interested with smaller heroine chest or in this case Yukikaze, which also had the translation project established (Although will I play Yukikaze or not in future is another story. And by the way Asagi and Yukikaze was nukige). Dandy Shot, I think my answer to otome was not interested but I think the story was involving around night life in the bar. Campus Note, the story was involving life in campus and apparently the release date for Japan and English version was the same, or in other word just like Nekopara Vol. 1 back in the end of 2014. As for Lucid9, it was just common route, but I think for the effort it'd already win No One But You and most importantly it's free. I think my comment was hopefully Lucid9 staff would be able to develop good heroine route. As for my opening comment, compared to the last week, this week we had many update. Let's try to sort it out here. And for JAST, there's no announcement other than if some of you interested to got free Sonico there's a contest and it's limited to 16 winner. Sekai Project This time we had KARAKARA at 95.98%, Maitetsu at 6.96%, World End Economica (WEE) Episode 3 at 51.23%, and Darekoi at 37.71%. For Darekoi, I didn't know so no much comment other than the story will take place in some isolated village or something like that. KARAKARA, well that's quite some quick progress, around 19% or so in one week although from the progress it's easy to guess that it'll be probably short VN (Actually, there is another method to guess it, but it's quite complicated to write). Maitetsu was slowed down with the progress only at 0.57%. As for WEE Episode 3, congratulations for reaching more than half for the progress and this mean it's about time that the English speaker will see all of WEE episode translated in English. Ironically, the biggest news from Sekai was not contained in the update itself, but from DavidB Twitter itself. What he tweeted is that the review copy from Root Double was started to emailed out, although I just knew it recently while the tweet was from April 12th. For information I just learned that review copy mean something like the copy of the game to be reviewed. As for Root Double information, I didn't need to type much in here, isn't it. For Decay, since you'll review it guess I'll looking forward to your review of Root Double later. Oh, almost forgot about one progress. For Grisaia, according to this post here Meikyuu was facing challenge in regard of porting from PSV to PC and Rakuen was about 20% translated. Good if you paid attention and waiting patiently for Grisaia translation. As for me, I think I'd satisfied with just Kajitsu only. Mangagamer Looks like Mangagamer will had big update every 2 weeks. So, let's start the recap here according to Mangagamer tweet. Kuroinu was 43% at this time Imopara was at 41.5% transalted and 14.4% edited (Quite fast I see) Evangile W was translated at 38% and edited at 17.3% Da Capo 3 87.8% translated and 80.8% edited Supipara was in scripting Bokuten was translated at 87% Pygmalion was 73% translated I think I could not comment much other than good progress. Da Capo 3 might finished in July if the translation keep up like this. As for Pygmalion, looks like we'll got it finished quite fast too and Bokuten also had good progress there. While Supipara was had very good scenery porn, I think I'll better wait until minori managed to made all planned episode, which is to said would take very very very long time. I think the most interesting news from Mangagamer to me was not Gahktun going to Steam, but Mangagamer announced Himawari progress in Twitter. Although Himawari was already in scripting for a while, it kinda made me wonder why just now Mangagamer announced it on Twitter. Perhaps the script was already in Mangagamer hand and right now they started to did the scripting by themselves (Or maybe it's just my wishful thinking), but the situation was kinda interesting. Anyway, let's see what Mangagamer will offer in next 2 weeks. Fan Translation First of all, congratulations to Arcadeotic for the release of partial patch of Bishoujo Mangekyou. As for Dergonu project, right now it was at 8.9% (I'll inform Decay about it later) and our Nosebleed also involved as TLC there. Speaking about Nosebleed project, I think is some of you want to continue the translation project of Immoral Little, just ask him for the script. As for my opinion, I understand about his burnout since sex scene usually only contain like Ahh... or Oohh..., so it's not that interesting to be translated. And speaking about burnout from translating sex scene, after translating Haruka looks like Arunaru suffering trauma from blowjob scene (According to him blowjob was the most scene back at Haruka). Anyway, since Nosebleed drop Immoral Little, good luck in your effort for translating Miu's route (He said it was more fun than translating Immoral Little). Astral Air as usual was stable, and this time it move at 0.96% which compared to last week was bigger jump, although slightly. Looks like they'll translate Corona route first before translating Yuuki. As for the note about Daitoshokan, I think I had slightly doubt about that but if it's true, then finally August curse will be break after Yuzusoft. For Libra, at this time it was 80% translation for common route, or in their word main route. And finally for the most recent news, the translator for ToHeart 2 Ittaku announced that he'll also translate Izumi's route at Clover Days. Here's his post for the proof, and let's see it later. I think that's all I could write for this VNTS commentary.
