  1. Good review, and regarding of con I couldn't elaborate much other than GundamAce also agree with you in regard that the revelation was underwhelming, and he was praise Root Double was better than Ever17 or same (Then again you may disagree though). Oh, for a confirmation, is Route D was jammed with character flashback or not? Because I'd read that many people complain about that (Although Tyrosyn was okay with that though). I think I'll post my first impression later in my thread, because at this time I'm still waiting Root Double to be available on certain site.
  2. Welcome to the Fuwanovel, and hope you enjoy your stay here. Speaking of your ability, if you want to help translation project just go to Translation Project section and PM the member who started the project. Hopefully you'll able to help the transaltion project who need TLC in the future.
  3. I think I'm more in normal category (Or maybe it would be Steam Casuals), but at least I knew that Sakura series is not good. And category 9 would remind me of Okami. About Majikoi crowd, suddenly I remember that I rant back on erogames forum of how they just register to said 'Good Luck' or 'Merry Christmas' to the staff, which in reality they mean 'Please work it now quickly' since there's a rumor that the disappeared hacker will be appear on Christmas. FYI, I followed the progress and mostly the post in the thread would said 'Good luck', which to said it would be very annoying to the staff (And me as well since I obviously didn't interested in post with word 'Good luck' or 'Merry Christmas'). I think that's all for the nostalgia. And by the way thanks for 32 years of dedicated research in regard of VN Player, mod Nosebleed.
  4. Happy birthday @Monmon, and hope you got well in upcoming year.
  5. Bumping this thread for obvious reason. Well, if we follow Sekai announcement it's only less than 3 hours left (Of course it will be released around afternoon, but I mean it's only 1 hour to April 28th at Japan) before download version release. Oh, and in 8 hours it'll be unlocked on Steam. For more recap, as reviewer Decay already played this and at this time probably readying for his review of Root Double. And since I was create this thread for discussing Root Double, just discuss it here if some of you will play Root Double in future. Have fun. PS - The size according to Decay (I was PM him some days ago) was at 7.91 GB. Quite big, but then again we had 'Days' series where the size reach more than 10 GB HDD.
  6. @Scorp Looks like my statement was incomplete. What I want to said was in regard of PC port from PS2 version. About censored in PS2 version, of course I'd already know about that for very long time also in regard of Sony policy. And what I want to suggest for the people who complained about no 18+ version translated would be why not asking Xuse that they not made it directly as soon as back in 2007, instead they just choose to port PS2 Version to PC without reapply H-Scene back from 18+ version (The time between PS2 port (2005) and PS2 port to PC (2007) was 2 years according to VNDB). Instead they choose to release complete version back at 2010, when the translation project was already finished and well, will you choose to re-translate the game or just use complete translation if the latter choice would be saving time (In regard of JAST released censored Eien no Aselia). Once again sorry if I couldn't word it well. @Monmon To be honest I'd found that Seinarukana atmosphere here was more light compared to the prequel (And if you want more nitpicking our Shun alike (Zetsu) was quite friendly and likeable even though any people will get the impression he was bad guy though (Well, he will though) from the face alone). Although I think it's not too bad though. Well to each of our own. @Rin If you talk about the first mission, using Satsuki in support while you set up her new skill will do wonder to made that fight no more than usual battle. Well, I did the same mistake as you and did got the game over. And I think for now I should add 2 more main character and the seiyuu, but before that let me said that they actually need to travel more than one world in order to find the way back to their home world. So, obviously as anime about journey teach us that we will pick some new ally. For the info, we'll had 14 party member in the endgame if you curious. Here I'll give the last 2 heroines info below. Naya Tactca Nanafe - Acted as some sort of the president from the another world that looks like the future, and also had cat ears (And tail, so guess she would be cat girl here) and quite skilled at engineering. The seiyuu for Naya was Motoyama Nina who voiced Leica Crusade in Demonbane, Merret in Romanesque, and Kan'u bin Koihime Musou if you apply the voice patch. Ruputna - The girl from the world where spirit life, and according to VNDB shw was quite distrustful at human, although her heart was very pure and innocent. And for the seiyuu, she was also voiced Orpha back in the prequel Eien no Aselia. I think that's all that I could give the info. And I think the gameplay was like Yumina here in regard of status (Strength and Force), except here we also need to managed mana to level up instead of killing random encounter at the dungeon. Well, have fun playing this game and maybe if I get some gameplay tips I could post it here later.
  7. I didn't like silent film, so it's false. Next person should be at least experienced live in dormitory.
  8. Okay back to topic and another bump here. As for progress, currently the common route was 100% translated. For bonus route, I think it would be like some sort of short after story for heroine's route, although guess I'll see it later.
  9. Oh, another new member here, so welcome to Fuwanovel and hope you enjoy your stay here. Well, it's not introduction page I knew but whatever. As for the recommendation, I maybe didn't knew much, but if you want something absurd, maybe OMGWTFOTL and The Best Eroge Ever would be good for you (It's also short). Other than that I didn't knew much but hopefully I could help you here.
  10. To spademan, I think for this you should not worry too much about the removal of H-Content like back in Konosora case. And for a little history, I guess the complete version of Eien no Aselia (18+ version with content from PS2) was in development while back at time Dakkodango want to translate it as soon as possible, so they choose PS2 port that came with Seinarukana (And if you wonder why there is no H-Content in the first place for PS2 port, ask Xuse instead about that for their decision). For your answer regarding reading Aselia, I would suggest you to just read Aselia route alone if you relly want to play it (Although you could also jump directly to Seinarukana as well too). Well, in the end it's your choice, although I agree with sanathlig that both Aselia and Seinarukna were good games in their own merit.
  11. Finally, and hopefully anyone who play Root Double here will had same experience as GundamAce, although if not that's okay too. Anyway, I think that's all for my last post here and see you later in Root Double discussion thred (Created by me).
  12. To answer your question, I think there's still no translation project for this one. Also I think since it's still in Japan, I will not read this because it's still untranslated and I couldn't read Japan here (By the way, I'm still not read this too for obvious reason).
  13. Anyone else get Seinarukan here other than me? If yes, I think we could started the discussion here, and I'll try to write my first impression here later. For sure this game had very long history in translation, but I'll try to make it brief here. According to VNTL, the translation was began back at 2010 when it was handled by Dakkodango, also the team who translated the prequel Eien no Aselia. And after a year or so, at 2011 the translation was picked up by JAST and around that time until February 2013, the progress not updated much, until the last percentage seen was at 44% ie 2 years it was quite slowly working. At February 2013, they got Aroduc to translate Seinarukana, and he decided to retranslated it from very beginning. After that, well not much update except like 'mostly translated' or something like that. Oh, by the way before Aroduc took over the project, if we follow VNTL between August 2012 and February 2013 there's many months and look like the former translators decided to disappear around that time (Real life problem or not I don't know). Also looking back at TL Wiki history, the 2 old translators was leave when they about to translated Chapter 10. And I think that's all I could said in regard of the translation history. I'm sorry if I couldn't tell much, but what I remember is that when I saw the VNDB date that it'll be released on 2013, I'm waiting in vain until December, while back at 2013 JAST managed to release Yumina. Oh, back at 2015, somehow JAST managed to delay it more until April (Although guess I shouldn't be surprised here though). About the premise, we had our usual clueless MC (Setoki Nozomu), his childhood friend and the student council president who somehow love MC (And befriended MC) trapped in the other world along with some students from MC's school. And by the way, after facing some enemy MC and his friend discovered their ability to fighting the enemy, and from there they begin to searching a way to back to their own world. Oh, by the way, if you interested with the red-haired girl, she was the student council president herself (Ikaruga Satsuki). For the cast, I think I'll just give the list to some main character (According to VNDB) the picture link, since I figured including picture here would make this post very long. So, for the girls in this game, we had: Ikaruga Satsuki - The student council president that I talked earlier, and actually she was already knew her power from before the school trapped in another world. Oh, and she was kind of aggressive to get the attention from MC. As for the seiyuu, she was Shirai Ayano who voiced Olivia back in Romanesque and Nitta Cocoa in big breast nukige Bazooka Cafe. Other than that, I think mostly the VN that had her mostly untranslated Nagamine Nozomi - MC childhood friend and @CeruleanGamer waifu by the way according to her. I think she was easily angered that MC was quite oblivious to her feeling in regard of love. Also she was form some sort of rivalry with Satsuki (What's with Satsuki try to get attention from MC), and actually didn't realize that she had power like Satsuki until the school was trapped in another world. For the seiyuu, she was Aoyama Yukari (aka Akane Tomonaga) who voiced Kazami Kazuki in Grisaia franchise, Kawakami Kazuko aka Wanko in Majikoi, Oda Nobunaga in Eiyuu Senki, and Soejima Hisoka in Comyu (For non eroge she was Moribe Jun in Root Double and Inubushi Keiko in Remember11). And my comment regarding seiyuu, Aoyama was definitely more well-known to English speaking VN compared to Satsuki's seiyuu. Katima Agaias - The princess knight that MC meet in the other world, and actually want to reclaim her kingdom because her kingdom was taken over by the people who want to rule the world ruthlessly (And by the way, I'll predict that the man who took over Katima's kingdom will be That One Boss candidate to some user here). For the seiyuu, she was Sakuragawa Miku who voiced some character from old VN (ie not translated and quite old one). Euphoria - Some sort of interesting character, and had nickname Euphy. According to VNDB, she had some kind of amnesia. For the seiyuu, she was Agumi Oto (aka Gotou Mai) who voiced Angelina in Katahane, Hayama Mizuki in ef, and Takekawa Benio in Comyu. I couldn't said much about Euphy here, since it would be major spoiler from the prequel Narukana - The mysterious girl who apparently appear in MC's dream. Narukana's seiyuu was Isshiki Hikaru (aka Tanaka Ryouko) who voiced Kurugaya Yuiko in Little Busters, Sakaki Yumiko in Grisaia franchise, Neon in Gahktun, and Hinaori Kagome in Comyu. Can't said much about her either, but what I knew her route was available on 2nd playthrough. I think that's all of the info I could give for now. Anyway, had fun and once again all of the user here could using this thread as Seinarukana discussion thread. PS - Anyone else willing to translate the guide from here? If yes it would be helpful for some people who want to SS all the mission for each chapter.
  14. Somehow Clephas forget it, so to fix it I'll included Ayakashibito. Also, if you willing for very light hearted VN with soldier heroine, Galaxy Angel should be good (But don't expect very epic story). Don't forget the other 2 sequels for Galaxy Angel though (Moonlit and Eternal). Other than that, I didn't knew much although the recommendation from another member including Clephas should fulfill your wish here.
  15. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you enjoy your stay here. As for your introduction, I'm kind of loss at word initially, but since you mentioned VN proofread I think you may try to offer your skill to proofread VN Translation here. As of now, there is the project that needed one more editor and the project is ToHeart 2 translation. Hopefully after you read the thread you willing to help @ittaku to finalize Toheart 2 translation, although if you didn't want it's okay though. Sorry if I'm like asking something impossible from you. Anyway, once again welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope we could meet more often in future. Oh, and expect moe picture here later.
  16. Well, I'd actually said as long as you willing to read bad translation though, but maybe I shouldn't recommended it (Maybe I was too careless, sorry. But putting aside nonsensical translation, I think Flyable Heart actually fulfill the VN that OP want though (Light hearted and quite similar to Shuffle, if we see it from the recently deceased Shuffle writer Agobarrier who also work on Flyable Heart), once again if he willing to read it through bad translation). Since I'd think Flyable Heart was should be read by the people who had at least understanding spoken Japanese (Just to said of how awful the translation is), maybe I'll just switch it to Never7 instead (Although it's part of sci-fi Infinity series, the first game was more like charage for majority part of it). And since Arcadeotic recommended Deardrops how about I recommended Kira Kira here. Once again hopefully you could find the good VN from my recommendation (Flyable Heart excluded). PS - The reason I was personally I recommended Flyable Heart because other than light heart story, at this time I kind addicted to the opening of the VN itself.
  17. Since I'd already welcomed you, guess I'll better skip to the VN Recommendation here. I see that you read most of recommended VN from some thread here, so I'll add I/O if you feel that you still want to read Tanaka Romeo (He was in Rewrite, Yume Miru Kusuri, Cross Channel, and he was planner in I/O) work. Also Remember11 if you want to read more Infinity series, but beware if you didn't like open ending though (Actually more like no ending, but I think the story should be still good). As for my experience as lurker, I think I'd already knew about Fuwanovel since the name was still Visual Novel Aer ie back at 2012 (I'd also browse erogames forum, VNDB, and now dead VNTL back there), then sometimes I use torrent from Fuwanovel and find that the forum was quite active back in 2014. Then I just register here at whim back around the end of 2014 just want to post tips at Soukoku no Arterial thread although I'm still not active too much compared of now back in 2015. Then I decided to introduce myself as 41st post, and I think at this moment I'm far more active here. Well, just want to share my experience here. Lastly, well have fun here and hope you enjoy your stay here.
  18. For the recommendation, I recommended ToHeart 2 and if you willing to read bad translation Flyable Heart (It was probably using Google Translate for the translation just for the comparison, but still not too bad if you understanding it I guess). Also Da Capo and sequel would be good too. Hope you could find what VN you like from my and other member recommendation here.
  19. To @Fred the Barber here, sorry but guess I learned another new English word here. Anyway, actually I want to answer @DarkZedge question about Koiken Otome, so my answer in regard of Koiken otome would be yes, I'm waiting for it although not too eagerly though. For the answer from Arcadeotic question, I would answer not too much, so it's false (But sometimes I'm going outside though, don't get me wrong). Next person should be working at ryokan in Japan (Just said yes or not).
  20. Maybe vanilla here mean something relaxing after reading something like Euphoria. Although Arcadeotic recommendation should cover most, I'll try to elaborate more. ToHeart 2 should do good enough since it was pretty much very light hearted, Osanajimi wa Daitoryu also good and quite funny. Also I think Da Capo (And the sequel) and Konosora would be good too. I hope my suggestion would help you to find out what's vanilla VN that you want to play, and welcome to the Fuwanovel to the OP here, since it was his first post (It's not introduction page though, but why not) and hope you had fun here.
  21. I'd just find this thread. Looks like an interesting game. May I join this? False, although just because I'd only eating waffle more than pancake though. Next person hopefully already in university and had a girlfriend (Or boyfriend for the girl user).
  22. @Rome Akazima Are you really ask that Imopara 2 will had uncensored patch, really? Well, the thing is Imopara 2 was nukige (VN that focused more on sex scene) so censored all of the sex scene would be a stupid move, and therefore it'll be not had any uncensored patch. And as for the translation, according to Mangagamer page it was still at 41.5% translated and 14.4% edited, so it's still take a while to complete (Although the progress was fast though). And one last thing, I think if you asking something like those 2 you definitely didn't play in here or VNDB enough. To be blunt I'm fairly amused that you asked that kind of question here, but if you still had any doubt guess my task here would be answering your question here (I already did).
  23. @FontSize72LOL Maybe this is not introduction thread, but welcome to Fuwanovel and hope you enjoy your stay here. And as for your opinion, it's quite interesting one although I think as long as you could understand any of the story, it didn't matter if it's could bring us more translated VN, but I also acknowledge your point in regard of the people that want VN to stay niche. So, I think I'm in more favor to translation or in your word localization (Only slightly though I guess). As for the video, guess it was interesting video, and I think the most interesting one would be that in regard of VN should be treated as the game, and he said that it was still in debate (Because of that, there were some amateur VN reviewer that give low score to VN because of no gameplay thing). I think that I agree that compared to several years ago, now VN was quite easily found on Steam nowadays (Although I just knew Steam recently though), which mean it was more accessible compared to the past. Oh, and about the speaker himself, I'd remember that I like to watch his LP to Moogy VN 'Best Eroge Ever'. Here's the video below, and I think it was quite funny LP. I think that's all I could said in regard of this topic, and I'm sorry if I couldn't express my opinion well here.
  24. Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy your stay here (Very cliche I knew). And just ask us if you had any trouble. Anyway, since you very big fan of Type-Moon, I also recommended Fate Hollow Ataraxia and Kagetsu Tohya, since those games were some sort of fandisc for Fate Stay Night and Tsukihime. And if you into gameplay, maybe Battle Moon Wars should be played as well, because it featured almost all of Type-Moon character. Oh, all of those game were translated and if you using Google, I think you'll find those easily. As for the other recommendation, since you said you open to all recommendation, maybe 1st rank and 2nd rank VN at VNDB (Muv Luv Alternative and Steins Gate respectively) although you may not like them though. And if you in mood for a lighter VN, how about ToHeart 2 and Noble Works too. I think that's all I could said for now, and hopefully mu suggestion help you to decided which next VN that you want to play (Well, other than Type-Moon and one game title).
  25. Welcome to Fuwanovel. About Aizen, I knew him from TV Trope and then I learned that he was Bleach villain. For the Bleach itself, it was one of 'Big 3' shonen manga along with Naruto and One Piece that had very long running, and as of now one of the three (Naruto) was already finished. Anyway, nice user name if I may comment, and I think it's still not late if you want to introduce yourself here (I speak from my experience that I introduce myself when I had 41 post here). And for your translation group, good luck and if you need some help in VN don't hesitate to ask us (Although I couldn't help with VN Translation business here though). Oh, last thing I hope you enjoyed yourself here.
