  1. I think in this game there was no accurate guide here, instead I think it's better if you tried to adjust your strategy based on the guide that I follow (I only managed to get S Rank though, but it's still better when I only got B Rank), or you could just use Japanese guide and using Google Translate here for lousy translation. One more thing, other than IT, you must not let any ally die (HP 0) and must occupy all of the town that was accessible, although this may already known though just for reminder here.
  2. Nothing interesting, really. I think I'm just going with the flow, chat with some people from my class, eating luch, listen to the teacher, than going home if you talk about school trope. Oh, I met my childhood friend again in high school and my little sister here definitely not loving me very passionately or tsundere love one either, so I think mine was quite normal I guess.
  3. Hello new member, welcome and hope you enjoy your stay here. And don't hesitate to ask us for help, okay. Recommendation, eh? Okay, if you want lighter one how about ToHeart 2 and Koi Suru Natsu no Last Resort. Noble Works and Konosora also good. Oh, if you played Steins Gate on PSV, better also try I/O and recently released Root Double. Since you mentioned Sono Hanabira, how about Aoishiro and Yurirei for my recommendation too? And for last word, hopefully we could see each other here more in the future.
  4. Oh, another new member here. Anyway, welcome and hope you had fun here. Well, of course I wish we could get along, too. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask us here.
  5. About my question for branching, never mind. I kind figured that there will be a choice for chapter 8 in regard of heroine except Narukana for first playthrough. Although I knew that there will be some affection point, I still didn't knew of how much the point needed to triggering the route though (My guess would be around 50 points or so). By the way, I figured this thanks to the translated walkthrough from Animesuki user Last Sinner's. So, I'd decided to share the walkthrough on my MEGA here, and hopefully from there you could managed to play through it smoothly. Oh, by the way the walkthrough only gives general direction, not exactly steps so you also need to adapt depend on the situation. And once again hope the walkthrough help.
  6. I'd already answered this, but the difference is that ef first tale only covered first half or so from overall story while fairy tale of the two combined the first half and second half (latter tale). And if you wonder which version is the best, I would suggest just pick first tale and latter tale separately since the combined version managed to remove extra menu, while separate version still had extra menu intact. Oh, extra menu is the menu which you could see CG, listen BGM, and rewatch H-Scene after (Or sometimes during) finishing VN and actually this should be common feature for any VN.
  7. Just for confirmation, will you get the choice in the branching point for the heroine that you got all of the flag or not. Thanks for confirmation, and I asked this because it would be a pain to for example I only locked to Satsuki route while I want to play Naya's route first.
  8. Okay, anyone else here need the walkthrough for Root Double in order to unlock all of the ending? If that's the case, here's the walkthrough, courtesy of MAL user Justy here although some user here may already knew the walkthrough though. Anyway, for my first impression well, the text here was ran slowly compared to some other VN so much that I decided to use instant appearance for the text setting, although it might be my old laptop though. For the system, you could also replay previous scene, just like Dracu Riot and Noble Works. The OST well, even if GundamAce said the composer wasn't the same one from Infinity series (Takeshi Abo), I think it still managed to had same tone as the Infinity OST one imo. Also like I/O (Same company) it also featured the completion, but unlike I/O you could access the Extra menu from the beginning. For my story, it was once again deliver as the premise told us, the explosion in nuclear reactor. Our MC here got amnesia after he apparently meeting some kind of monster. From the moment after he rejoining the firefighting crew, which coincidentally comprised of only woman (Which actually comprised 2 man, 2 woman, and himself as the leader), he started to search for his memory and other survivor in the facility. And by going forward, they managed to find another survivor (Ena Tsubakiyama), who was spotted in embarrassing position. For the voice, I think not much comment other than they did well I think. Although if I may comment for Majikoi fan who play this game you'll should recognize Jun's voice as Wanko one. And also regarding the Ena's voice who resembling Lin's one back in Remember11, I couldn't comment much but I think Ena's here more cooperative compared to Lin (According to some of Remember11 review, Lin was uncooperative). As for Decay's comment in regard of hiring eroge seiyuu for cheapening the cost, I would lean toward they hired the lesser known seiyuu (ie Salyu) to balancing the cost for hiring famous seiyuu like Toyoguchi Megumi, Satou Rina, and Sayaka Oohara imo. And also I think while Asami Imai and Akane Tomonaga was eroge seiyuu, the cost for both of them should be quite a lot because they had many role in many eroge (Beside Asami Imai also quite famousfor voicing Makise Kurisu in Steins Gate and Chihaya in Idolmaster). Although it was only my speculation though. I think that's all for my comment here. Sorry if I couldn't comment much here and word it well. PS - Hopefully the impression for Root Double will be good in the future. PPS - Forgot to said this, but congratulations for @Fred the Barber whose name was appear on the credit, and thanks for backing this Kickstarter to made this game available to English speaking one (Let's not talk about controversy behind Kickstarter here).
  9. Well, that's actually quite a lot, but if you wish you may try ToHeart 2, Konosora, Dracu Riot (3 of 4 route were already translated), Little Busters, Noble Works, and Koichoco. I think those games had happy moment quite a lot (Although I didn't know about the sex scene though), but sometines it still had some drama. Well, hope my recommendation help and had fun.
  10. Well, my little brother play saxophone a little, but I'm not playing it. So my answer would be false. Next person had watching Macross Delta and Haifuri in this season (Even if you only watch one of those 2, you must said true. If you didn't watch both at all, then it's false).
  11. @the_dive For Tokyo Babel, let my comment about setting back in Tokyo Babel thread speak for itself. Although you prefer community college, but I said resort because well, just look at Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort waitress uniform to know why I recommended resort for Tokyo Babel. And for office I think it should be logical enough. But it's just a little nitpicking from me though, and I didn't bother with the high school in Tokyo Babel anyway once again. @Deep Blue The reason was maybe they want to following Hayate no Gotoku and Black Butler manga success and had many VN in Japan copied the butler concept from those 2 mangas who had concept butler. Just my opinion here, okay.
  12. Sorry for bump this, but right now it was funded at around 9,000 (Actually 8,887 though). My comment would be looks like this Kickstarter will be failed, unless there's some very major boost near the end. And I'm certain that Root Double kickstarter doing better than this, because at least it managed to get 30,000 or so for first 2 days while this couldn't even gather 10,000 for 10 days. I think I'll try to report the progress each week to see how they'll last here.
  13. @Dark_blade64 It's actually easy to edit the title. Just click edit on your first post and type the new title for this thread. I'm absolutely certain that as long as you the one who created the thread, you should be able to edit the title (Well, speaking from my experience here). PS - To edit this thread, I suggest that if possible you better use laptop or computer because there's some bug that made the thread couldn't edited properly on some mobile phone or so I'd read.
  14. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and even though your game is otome one good luck with the project (I'm not interested much in otome).
  15. @wyldstrykr I just trying to play it for a while, so I didn't know the answer for the question 2. Anyway, I'll answer the question that I knew the answer 1. Since from my play-through I knew that Inspire last for the whole combat (In theory as long as you using Nozomi as defender and the enemy only had physical attack, the defense debuff from Inspire should be no concern), I would like to said that fashion and concentration was also last for the whole combat possible (Although I'll need to check in the future for those 2 though). 3. Yes, because the seiyuu for those 3 (Nozomi from this game, Ekate from Bunny Black, Kazuko from Majikoi) was the same person, Aoyama Yukari (Real name Akane Tomonaga). She also voiced Kazuki in case you remember her from Grisaia. Hope my answer could help you here.
  16. I knew the reason of why OP interested in this, but let me answer your question. I'm still not playing this, but maybe in the future (Although I knew the first game was quite hard from some review). As for the translation, well to me as long as readable to me it's should be enough and for skipping to 3 maybe you could, and maybe you better also try 2. For the first game, I would suggest you just skip it and search the spoiler for it. Oh, and if you expect award winning story obviously you pick wrong title here.
  17. To Whoisthatguy96, my answer is there's no difference in the first place since JAST version use fan translated version one, which in turn was using PS2 to PC port without changing the content at all (ie Xuse didn't add any 18+ content to PS2 to PC port back at 2007 (Although they did that in 2010, which to said very late since the translation was also finished in 2010)). And of course since Steam had no explicit sex content policy, so JAST decided to just port it to Steam (Well, there's nothing to be cut though). And since technically the translation was out in 2010, so this game was already discussed to the death, but I think this should be a good game for Steam user though. Oh, because OP asking my thought, it would be the atmosphere here was more heavy than Seinarukana, there's no magic status in battle, and also we didn't had school transported to the another world here if you ask my impression after playing a bit of Seinarukana. But overall both of this and Seinarukana was good games to each of their own though.
  18. Visual Novel Translation Status (04/30/2016) Kinda want to do seiyuu joke for this week, so since the featured image header (One of 4 image actually) was Moribe Jun in Root Double, who also had same seiyuu as Kawakami Kazuko back in Majikoi, so I decided for the title because Jun was firefighter and Kazuko nickname was Wanko, I'd made 'Wanko as Firefighter' for the review title. Anyway, this is definitely not a fanfiction of how Wanko will became firefighter in Kawakami city, but usual VNTS review for this week. For the release, Aselia was already censored even back when fan translated, so I think it's already played and discussed to the death or in other word obsolete. Ozmafia, well even otome was once again not my interest but congratulations for Mangagamer first otome release. The story of Ozmafia was something like amnesiac cute MC (I admit that I look forward to otome game MC face though. Oh, her name was Fuuka) was trapped in the place when there is many mafia family fighting each other to the death, and Fuuka must had to seek refuge with one mafia family that hopefully she could trust. Corpse Party, well it had voice obviously but too bad the seiyuu is not the famous one though just like in PSP version, just indie seiyuu. But I think if some of you like horror and didn't had PSP (Or you had hard time to use PSP Emulator), go ahead and play it. For the last relese, I'll comment below (In case some of you didn't get it from the first paragraph, it was obviously Root Double). As expected, Mangagamer really did update for each 2 weeks. And I think for this week we had another good week after Seinarukana sudden release last week. Let's start my wrap up from Fan Translation here. Fan Translation Well, this time AstralAir didn't had progress this week as usual (Or maybe this week VNTS came too fast, and if Chuee update it I'll add it here). For Bishoujo Mangekyou, this week we had 5 out of 8 script translated, and Arcadeotic said it was around 70%. Although I didn't follow it, Angel Beats at this week was at 41.93% although I'm still waiting for Key to release full version though. For Dergonu's project (I'll reference this as Tsui Yuri for next review), congratulations for finally getting good TLC and for the progress it was at 12%. I think as for this week Fan Translation section was kinda plain, although I'm waiting for Tuesday since akerou supposed to give major update in regard of his progress (Although I didn't know if it would be good or bad though, but hopefully good obviously). Oh, and I'd almost forget that this week Ittaku really released another beta patch for ToHeart2, and he decided to had FredtheBarber also editing twin's route (At this time, ToHeart 2 was edited 75%). Mangagamer Once again, looks like my prediction that Mangagamer will had update every 2 weeks was proved right. So, for Mangagamer progress recap, here's the list below. Kuroinu was at 55% translated MYTH was 100% translated and in scripting Imopara 2 was 44% translated Evangile W was half translated Pygmalion was 86.73% translated DaCapo 3 was 90% translated and 83.4% edited Bokuten was 92% translated and 73.75% translated Tatarigoroshi now being ported Well, the progress for 3 most interesting VN (Pygmalion, DaCapo3, and Bokuten) was very good if I must said to Mangagamer. As for Tatarigoroshi (Oh, by the way Tatariogoroshi was one part of Higurashi in case some of the reader here confused what Tatarigoroshi mean), looks like they'll release it in close date and with that it'll be another part of Higurashi that will had voice patch in the future. And Tatarigoroshi is the part when Higurashi story start to form itself, or so I'd read somewhere. Other than that, there's not much to comment here. Sekai Project For Tenshin Rahman and Chrono Clock, well maybe if the progress was updated regularly I'll keep eye to both of it. Maitetsu was at 12.11% translated for this week and WEE episode 3 was at 64.24% translated for this week. It'll be definitely good news for WEE fans, although Maitetsu progress was slowed down again this week after we had quite nice progress from last weeks. Other than that, I think not much from Sekai translation progress. The most exciting news this week was definitely Root Double release. I'm actually kind of want to see it translated from the moment I read GundamAce posts in Animesuki and Gamefaqs back at 2012, and he said that it was equal to Ever17 according to him (And he swear that he'll definitely translated it). So, from the moment I'd see him founded Lemnisca Translation I'd remember that I'm always following his I/O, Secret Games and 12Riven translation because he said that he'll finally translated Root Double after he finished with all of those 3 games. Although the way of got Root Double here was a bit different and had slightly more controversial, it was definitely worth of waiting. As of now I'll still waiting for Root Double to be available on my laptop, and then I'll write my first impression. For Decay's review, actually I think it's okay though since review should be taken as personal feeling of the work instead of the whole community opinion. And of course you should once again form your opinion based on the game by yourself alone, not by the review itself. For example, according to VNDB I/O was one of GundamAce best VN while Decay only give score 7.7, so I think once again review was like something personal opinion, although I also see the point that it may affect some of the people who want to play it though if they only read the score and not the substance. Okay to be honest I said this because I'd had more face-palm reading the reaction from Decay's review at Gamefaqs forum rather than the review itself. And one last thing I would said is that at least Decay didn't review it badly because it didn't had gameplay section just like some certain Tokyo Babel review. I think that's all I could write for this VNTS review for this week.
  19. Slightly late to said this (Usually I said when it's midnight here), but happy birthday to @Forgetful Frank and hope you get well in upcoming year. Oh, I saw you in some thread and hopefully you keep coming here more too. PS - And also happy birthday to @Tamaki Sakura as well, although I'm still not seeing you much around here though.
  20. Well, since all of the user above already recommended good one, so I couldn't recommended much. And I couldn't know much about combined trait either. But, I think I'll try to help. For older sister heroine, how about Princess Waltz (Coincidentally the older sister heroine has same seiyuu as Tamaki from ToHeart 2) and Little Busters (Technically the onee-san character was same age, but she consider herself as that). For possessive heroine, maybe Duel Savior (Just play until your little sister route and see what I mean). And maybe Ayakashibito Suzu also qualified according to VNDB (Maybe the best VN for you would be Ayakashibito as it would cover 2 heroines with the trait that you want). Hope my recommendation help.
  21. Well, to be honest I'd rarely read manga, but may I join this? Anyway, I just want to write my impression about Alice Academy. My suggestion would be you better just read the manga instead of watch the anime. The reason was the manga wrap the overall story nicely (Although if some people dislike it is another matter here), while the anime was mess because it left hanging some major point that manga solve. I couldn't write the comparison since it will full of spoiler, and let me emphasis once again that you better read the manga if you want to enjoy Alice Academy.
  22. To Zenophilous, what I want to said by 'probably' is maybe Moonstone intended to made pun from MC name. Although after reading Arcadeotic opinion it may 100% intentional after all. But I think it's also understandable though if Clephas give score 6.5 (Well, Clephas more like proactive MC while Evangile MC was passive, so there's a personal preference in play I guess). Back to topic. As of now, I'm also try Seinarukana, and MC to be honest was quite dumb not noticing Nozomi's feeling (I'd even state that back in Seinarukana's thread about MC cluelesness). The gameplay, well, let's just said it was combination between Eien no Aselia (Level up Using mana) and Yumina (Had 2 types attack and defense (Physical and magic), and some defensive skill only handle one type of defense).
  23. Happy 31st birthday to @Kendjin and thanks for your dedication at the start of Fuwanovel. Even if you didn't read this, I hope you had upcoming year well.
  24. @TastefulSardine Well, I think that's understandable if EvangileMC was so passive and not getting angry. From the name you'll understand. Masaya is probably Japanese pun from messiah. And from the review I think Evangile was quite accurate in writing Catholic setting.
  25. Looks like I misunderstood @Rome Akazima question. Well to be honest the first thing I read uncensored it would remind me of Konosora which had H-Scenes ripped. Sorry. To properly answer your question, I think Mangagamer will probably remove mosaic for Imopara 2, just like the prequel so you didn't need to wait for uncensor patch. Well to be honest I don't care about the deal with mosaic thing in the first place though.
