Quickly going to go through most VN reviewers I know:-
    https://www.youtube.com/user/Ashadow700
More or less the "founding father" of VN video reviews. His Rewrite review is my personal favourite.
    https://www.youtube.com/user/mattroks101
Matt's is a pretty funny dude, although most of the VNs he reviews are Western, hence bad. He also does some other stuff on his channel. His KS review is definitely a must watch.
    https://www.youtube.com/user/Belmakor19
While simple, Bel's videos are plentiful. Between him and Ash, you should find a review for most of the popular VNs out there. His LB! review is probably my fav
    https://www.youtube.com/user/pokestory1/
This is Rockmandash's channel, who has also reviewed a couple of VNs the others haven't touched. I like his "VNs on the go!" video the most c:
Those are the main four, here are some honorable mentions:-
    https://www.youtube.com/user/Aaox00/
While he has technically only reviewed 2 VNs, Aaox's reviews are superb. You definitely don't want to miss out on those two
    https://www.youtube.com/user/thespazgaming
Spaz has also only reviewed two titles, but they're still worth watching, and he's still the only one who's reviewed SnU out of the rest...
And those are all the ones I know. I may have missed a few, but I doubt so, it's not exactly a popular field
As for editing, well I personally like Magix because of it's ease and simplicity, but you can use anything really. Although you're talking about "recording" yourself playing, which isn't the same as editing. You can look up any screen capturing software, although I'm personally not very familiar with them
And finally, you should review whatever you want to review the most. Don't review a VN just because it's popular, but because it was so amazingly awesome/awful that you have to talk about it. Or at least that's what I think. I hope I answered your questions, and gl with your channel

I mean uh, yeah it's pretty damn good, my favourite VN thus far. It's also has a pretty epic story unlike most VNs, so it's pretty unique in that regard
I'll leave you with Ashadow's review, it was all the motivation I needed

Well, I sure don't know where to start.... All I can say is that your education seems extremely simplistic and one sided. I guess I can recommend you play games like Age of Empires, civilization, etc that portray many history in a humane and realistic manner from many different perspectives. Age of Empires 2 was actually what got me really into history, so I'd recommend that game in particular over other titles

So, I saw that thread about cliche stories, so I kinda came up with an idea. If you were a visual novel writer and was asked to write a rather radical plot that has never been written before, what would it be? Here's my list:
    - A galge about a Christian man going to Saudi Arabia to date and possibly marry an Arab woman. Has a harem route obviously.
    - A nakige visual novel about a Jewish female survivor during World War 2 who falls in love with a German soldier.
    - A moege where you get to date these 5 diverse women: A Chinese loli girl, a busty brunette onee-san with a sexy Spanish accent, an English speaking ojou-sama, a Russian tsundere, and an athletic African girl.
    - An otome game where you play as an S&M club queen and you get to punish I mean go out with different masochist men.
    - A visual novel where you play as a puppy and seduce other bitches (literally). Beware: Furries?
    - A visual novel with gameplay elements where you play as a delivery man/mail man/Fed Ex guy and try to sleep with as many women as you can.
So what silly and stupid radical plots did you guys come up with? Oh and if any vn fits the ideas above already, feel free to share them because I don't know any who fit in these categories/plots yet.

Za hype iz real. I personally really enjoyed the movie quite a lot, and for those who seem to complain endlessly about it's ending: What about the entire movie as a whole? Are you basically saying that a cliffhanger ending can ruin an entire movie regardless of how good the other 2 hours were? The ending did leave me rather annoyed too, but the entire journey was totally worth it. The animation, music, and character interactions throughout the whole movie are what made it a great experience for me, and I can't wait to see more of that in whatever there is to come

    I'll quote myself:
tl;dr it would be giving way too much credit to feminists or whoever else to think they are the reason why we can't have shitty boobs games in the west or that they have any sort of censorship power. This, in my opinion, is either some attempt by Koei to discharge themselves from the responsibility of not bringing the game over here or a blunder from their facebook page manager (who is clearly not very articulate in english).

I would start defending Muslims/Islam, but it's unnecessary at this point, since most of you seem to be able to differentiate between a world religion with almost 2 billion followers and an extremest organization

In case you missed it -
Fiddle-dee-dee:  An FBI study looking at terrorism committed on U.S. soil between 1980 and 2005 found that 94 percent of the terror attacks were committed by non-Muslims.[1] If anything, that percentage is higher due to the rather arbitrary classification of terror attacks and a bias that may exist.
How many large scale terrorist attacks have there been, just out of curiousity? The idea that you need to specify >100 deaths is pretty telling, because now you aren’t angry at terrorists, you’re just angry at successful terrorists. Terrorists who aren’t successful, well they’re just fuzzy little teddy bears, am I right?
But you seem to want to talk about Islam and Islamic terrorism, so lets talk Islam, terrorism, and part of the reason the Middle East don't like America: 1) America’s interference inside Iran’s election process produced one of the biggest Western hating Government’s on the planet. Research the 1953 Iranian C’oup d’etat.
    2) America’s influence inside Afghanistan produced the Taliban, and gave them great power. IIRC Afghanistan was a peaceful country until the USSR and America started fighting over it.
    3) America removed Saddam Hussain under false pretences, creating a vacuum of power inside a tribal and volatile country. This vacuum of power was filled by toady politicians who a) were anti-Sunni and b) were unable to control the volatile country they were leading. This helped create ISIL/ISIS, who are mostly Sunni.
    4) Syria, America supporting the rebels, how did that go again? Who are the rebels comprised of?
Every single time America entered the Middle East, they leave the place worse then before they entered. It’s been an unfortunate mistake.
America has done a lot of good things, but they helped destabilise the Middle East in many different, consequence-filled ways. And some people inside those countries are seeking to take advantage and take power. It's what happens *shrugs*

Anyways, this game looks real fun. Yeah, a lot of resemblances to TF2, who cares? It looks really polished (the first person animations are incredible) and it reminds me of TF2 before it became a bloated mess. I dunno if I'll buy it on launch but I really want to get into the beta and give it a shot. I'll need to buy a new keyboard first though since mine is so busted.

Preface: For those of you who don't know, I, solidbatman, chronicle the various peoples of Fuwanovel, detailing their life story, and giving insight into just the kind of person they are. To read past entries, I urge you to read OriginalRen: An Original Biography and Professor Rooke. For those of you curious enough about me, I do detail some of my adventures here.

Introduction: Today, my fellow readers, I seek to answer your questions regarding one of the more mysterious figures here at Fuwanovel. Some say he isn't real, that he is simply a spirit sent from Japan to tease the West with VNs. Others say he is a communist sleeper agent, set on turning otakus into Marxists to lead the People's Revolution. And still others say he is a med student who got bitched out by a just Colombian doctor when he attempted to commandeer his ornately decorated office. I'm here to tell you, Tay is real. As real as the dirt beneath your feet, but not as real as firecat's ability to predict the future. Let us, together, go down the road that is Tay's past. Enter, the untold Tay Story.
Tay was born in 1321 in the great salt flats of Utah. For an adult, living in the salt flats of Utah is a feat, but for a baby, it is basically a death sentence. Baby Tay defied the odds, not only surviving the salt flats, but thriving in them. The salt fueled him, gave him strength and power. When he emerged from the salt flats in 1322, he was a 7 foot tall hunk of a baby. Despite appearing god-like, with a finely sculpted body (that Michelangelo would later attempt to immortalize in his Statue of David), 7 foot baby Tay did not know how to live among others. So for 691 years, Tay remained in hiding, only venturing out to find new reading materials. One day, after traversing the Pacific Ocean, Tay came upon a mythical land, known as Japan. Perhaps it was Fate that led him to this moment. When he returned home, Tay knew what he had to do.
At the same time, ɐıןɐɹʇsnɐ uı, a young woman, who too had been touched (appropriately) by Japan, began work on a temple that she called Fuwanovel. Fuwanovel, at the time was ugly, and in need of great help. Tay, with his supernatural hearing, heard about Fuwanovel, and quickly ran to ɐıןɐɹʇsnɐ to help. This, is when Tay became the being we speak legend of today.
One day in ɐıןɐɹʇsnɐ, Tay came upon a group of girls. One was missing her legs, another her arms, another was just annoying as fuck, and the other was also annoying as fuck but didn't talk but was somehow even more annoying than the one that did talk. Tay was moved by this, (the author of this biography would like to note that, regarding himself, he was not moved by this and thought this was shit.) and decided to become a doktor to help those stupid ass girls. To do this though, he had to go through many trials. Among them, an attack from Gangamamer and the Pulltop Yakuza (which will be detailed in the prequel entry to this at a later date). Tay's soul was drained, but he continued marching on, even as he was abandoned by those around him. He doktor'd Fuwanovel into good health, and replaced the old, creaking parts with new, broken as fuck creaking parts. But someone, somewhere was lurking, waiting for their moment to strike. This strike, would shake the foundations of Fuwanovel to its core, and leave it in ruins. Would 7 foot baby Tay rise up to the challenge? Or would he fall into despair? Or would he just say fuck it and quit like another Fuwa Leader did? Find out next time!
