Yep, I'm pleased to announce that translation and editing have both hit 100% for the project. It's unfortunately still too soon to project release time frames, because there's still so much work to do and it's all volunteer work, so it's hard to ask people to prioritize it. At the end of the day, I just can't say how long TLC and QC will take.
That said, I can at least set some minimum expected times: we won't be able to start QC until TLC is done and applied, and also until image editing and tech work are done. That's all at least a month out, probably closer to two months. After that, I expect QC will take another month, bare minimum, again probably closer to two. The game is still a lot of text. So, don't expect us to be done for a while yet.

Nier reacted to Nandemonai in What happened to Supipara?
Why would they do that?  First of all, the goal was never $300K.  I checked the Wayback Machine, the goal for ch. 3-5 was always 'pending'.  When they announced the goal it was $150K each for the new chapters.  It never had an amount before tht.  Second, minori apparently really wanted to do more Supipara, but it bombed.  Why would they go to all this trouble to pretend to get ready to make more?
Why is it easier to believe they're deviously and dishonestly manipulating the facts, than to believe their plan failed?  And if they didn't want the plan to succeed, why would they count sales of Trinoline towards this goal?  (I looked for a cite for that, but couldn't find anything.  I believe it was announced at Anime Boston 2017.)
We don't know exactly, but sure we do.  Their tracker page says this: "When the combined gross profit of eden* and Supipara reaches... "
Yeah, that's the difference between gross profit and gross revenue.  Even if SteamSpy is accurate, the game only costs $20 now.  And it went down to $2 for the Christmas sale in 2017.  Basically, you can't count on eden* to move that needle in any significant way anymore.  The game is old and cheap.  It seems like you were expecting profits from eden would continue indefinitely?  Games are hit driven.  They get most of their sales up front.  The profits were always going to dry up eventually.  After a quick initial burst, sales fall off.  The only real significant sales eden* will have seen since then will be the big Steam sales.
You're ignoring the other game included in this fundraiser.  The point was that Supipara would come to fund itself after getting a kick start from sales of eden*.  Each new volume of Supipara would create a new spike of direct sales of the new volume, but would also (theoretically) ignite new interest in minori's other games.  Except that apparently Supipara volume 1 bombed in English too.
Or to look at it another way:  Supipara 1 and Eden* between them have a profit of $225K right now.  Suppose that number was a little higher, though.  It seems reasonable to suppose that Eden* made $185K or so, and Supipara 1 made about 40K.  Suppose instead that Eden* had made the $225K all by itself, and Supipara 1 hadn't bombed.  Then it might have pulled in $100-125K.  Then things would be very different.  It would be close to the goal for volume 3, maybe even at it already.  And the release of volumes 2 and 3 would bring in another $100K each, minimum, guaranteeing the release of volume 4.
In other words, the fundraiser was set up so Eden* would provide the initial push for sales of Supipara, and that if Supipara took off, it would fund itself.  That plan doesn't seem likely to work, so they appear to have changed it to include Trinoline's profits as well.

New Year is coming - time for some news. ^^
We finished the 1st QC pass. We still need to tweak some stuff, fix a few issues and then playtest the (hopefully) final version of the patch so it will take some time, but we're getting close~ish to releasing it.

Sorry for not responding in a while, I'll come back to you once at least one script gets done. If you find it really bad, then I'll have to rethink my approach ^^ But nevertheless, thank you for offering yourself for this ...
Having read only through the common route and only up to Orihime's first H-scene, I can confirm, this VN doesn't deserve butchering, definitively one of the better VNs I have seen in a while (at least in this genre).

No, they (Illusion) didn't give a shit, unlike say crybaby minori (who btw still to this day block non-japanese IPs from accessing their website).
No, this is Japan itself not Illusion or any specific Eroge/VN developer, as in it's a japanese law that's been implemented ever since the western RapeLay nonsense.
Before that there was no "JAPAN SALES ONLY".

I couldn't find any videos of the original PC version (which is basically what all non-japanese speakers could only play so far since there is no other option), what I found was a video of the "For All People" version which is the All Ages PS3 version, so this is at the part where I made the comparison:
I am pretty sure that you won't be able to do a proper comparison with this because the script of this version was changed too much compared to the original 18+ PC game, I don't read japanese but I noticed in the "For All People" version there was a big amount of inner monologue added between the part where in the english fan-translation Taichi calls out Miki as "Oujou-san" and where she avoids his groping attempt, at that point Miki has a voice to say "woah!" but in the "For All People" they removed that voice and instead put in a line by Taichi that is unvoiced (the protagonist does not have a voice) also after that there is plenty of inner monologue with quite of bit of "!" and "?", this is completely absent from both english translations.
Also, while looking at the videos to find the section of the game where I made the comparison at, I noticed this:
In the original PC version this CG shows her white panties and Taichi (the protagonist) makes alot of joking comments and has alot of internal monologue about it, but here in the All Ages "For All People" version, there's no panties, I can't read japanese but I am sure they changed the script here to reflect on this change otherwise it wouldn't make much sense to talk for 10 minutes about a non-visible pair of panties as if they were (still) visible.
    See the original CG:

It seems that aside from the obvious sex scenes that the PS3 version has anything remotely non-all ages (such as panty shots) completely removed wether they be CG or even text and as such Taichi perveted jokes, perverted inner monologues and perverted tricks seem to have been removed, replaced or toned down so it's probably safe to assume that the script has had quite a bit of rewrites to reflect on that.

Nier reacted to littleshogun in Curious about the difference between the r18 and non-r18 versions of A Clockwork Ley-Line The Borderline of Dusk?
It's pretty easy to guess that Sekai was probably only just removed the H scenes for Tokeijikake, and the reason was because in PSV port we have another new character. Considering that Kohaku was probably already finished the translation by the time Sekai announced this, I think Sekai definitely didn't want to do work in regard of porting back PC version because it mean more engine work and not to mention that the PSV was just recently released at this year - which amount to no time for the port even if Sekai want to because it'll caused the delay more than already is and not to mention translating new character lines.
For the short answer here, Steam version of Tokeijikake is just the PC version with sex scenes removed. Although the Steam user could still enjoy the sex scene though if they buy DLC from Denpasoft store, which obviously added the scenes. At least Sekai better than Pulltop in regard of handling sales at both of Denpasoft and Steam.

Curious to know if the All-Ages version of A Clockwork Ley-Line The Borderline of Dusk available on Steam is just the original 18+ PC version with sex scenes removed from the game and that's it (like Sekai did for the Steam version of Hoshizora no Memoria and MoeNovel did for A Sky Full of Stars) or if it's a PC backport of the All-Ages PS Vita version (like Sekai did for the Steam versions of The Grisaia Trilogy)?

I will be mean here, but let's be honest: So far, the people I saw complaining about the translations are native speaker (and very often the same persons) because the said translation don't match their taste in english literature, then they just go around and cry that the translation is bad because they don't have their share of slangs, americanized sentences (which often kill the meaning of the japanese sentence)
The sad thing is that almost all those people don't understand a single sentence in japanese (and funny thing is that none were never able to explain what was wrong in the translation when asked to). Just like Nier said someone, you just need someone, somewhere on the internet complaining, parrots have been reapting the same shit.
As long as you have no proof, you can say that personally you don't like the translation, but have no right to say that it's shit...
