Living in country where its summer all year round and I need to travel a couple thousand miles to see snow, or autumn leaves... I don't know if I'm qualified to answer this question, but...
Spring: For light-hearted chara-ge and moe-ge like Princess Evangile or Majikoi
Fall: For crazy heart-pumping chunni-ge like Dies irae or Fate/Stay Night. I guess some nakige works too.
Winter: For melancholic and despairing naki-ge, maybe Narcissu?

Most charage/moege and plotge that don't have a strong action element have a seasonal theme.  This isn't true for all of them, but it is true for enough of them to be significant.  What is your favorite?  I'll say right out that Fall is my favorite, because I like the cool air on my skin, and the season is perfectly for gentle but emotional stories that strike straight for the heart and great tragedies that break it. 

I think most people who are complaining are looking at the Sekai Blunder and then comparing to them...its not about the announcement... you can announce as many Vns as you like as long as you deliver is all what everyone is saying..  and release Delays just add to the doubts

Well, I wasn't really sure what subsection to put this in but anyway it's still relevant to visual novel talk. This software uses a neural network to recreate censored images. There have been previous similar posts from early versions of this software but it's now actually quite usable. See my post here on reddit:

The long and the short of it is that considering it takes about 10 seconds, it can be used as a starting point for graphic editors to then make a more reasonable decensored image, while still preserving the bulk of the original artist's "impression." No it doesn't look great, but in the absence of original work from the companies, it can be used as the basis for another graphic artist to polish up a decensored version for a localised release.

Exactly the same as my views on episodic traditional video games, which are rather negative.
Disregarding the debate on whether or not it's anti-consumer, it kinda comes off to me as just another way of avoiding any kind of financial risk by not fully investing in a complete release.  If it flops, just axe plans for any more episodes and move on, leaving customers with an incomplete story that will never be continued.  Frontwing in particular, imo, uses episodic releases this way, and it doesn't look all that good.  They can apparently afford to fund development of full JP releases, but after they start focusing on western releases they release a flurry of episodic releases with Kickstarter campaigns?  Those actions just scream, "I'm confident in the future success of these products", amirite?
An arguement that's typically brought up in favor of episodic releases is that it gets the content to the customer sooner than a full release theoretically would have, but I honestly just don't care.  My backlog of games, books, TV shows, movies and VNs can quite easily hold me over a longer wait, and even if they couldn't, I'd be fine waiting.  I personally don't buy episodic releases of anything until the "full" product is released, which usually means all the older parts are now on sale.  I can see why this perk might appeal to other customers, but it's a bit odd in the western VN scene, where there's usually a delay between the original JP release and the EN release.  We're pretty used to waiting for pretty much everything at this point lol
I don't really care about the pros of the episodic release format, and the cons don't particularly enamor me with it, either.

Well, why don't you try giving some shorter titles a shot? Kikokugai (also from Nitroplus) is pretty good and short, so is Hanachirasu. Saya no Uta isn't that long also, but it's, uh, quite a trip.

I'm definitely not the best person out there to answer that, as I don't have the same problem as you, but I do relate with your reading time. In my case, I'm a pretty slow reader (and my speed goes even further slower when I'm reading something that's not in my native language, that's 100% of the time when it comes to VN) and since I'm quite busy irl lately, I can afford maybe one hour each day to read. I finished DMMD in the beginning of the year and it certainly took me a bit more than a month to finish.
But I don't think that should make you unmotivated!  It took me several months to finish my favorite VN and it was very worth the ride, long as it was. Take the time you need and try to think in tackling these VNs one route at a time, for example. The goal will feel a lot closer that way. FSN can be quite infodump and long winded at times, but it does a decent job at making you remember stuff with short (okay, some not that short) explanations from one route to the other. Plus, it have a "status screen" that list a lot of character's powers that can be accessed at any time in case you forget something.
And you can also take notes. Like, every time a scene ends, or you stop reading for the day, try to write down/type in a notepad file (create it inside your VN folder) what happened with a single or a few sentences. You can oversimplify the events, pick the most vital part and putting it in all caps, crack a few jokes in your explanations, anything that you think it can be fun to do and easy to associate with the whole scene, so it can "trigger" your memory of the rest of scene without you having to read it again.
If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed to start a very long VN, you can always try a shorter one first until you're confident enough with a method to help you remember the story.

I really enjoy visual novels and read my first one DRAMAtical Murder about a year ago, it took me about two and half months to complete it because I have a reading disability where I have to read something five or six times to comprehended it and its easy for me to forget things. I wanna read other visual novels like Fruits Of Grisaia and FSN but I'm worried that they would be hard due to the length and that they would take me forever to read and hard to remember events I read before, any tips to help? 

I would recommend:
Kindred Spirits on the Roof Flowers-series (first two volumes, Spring & Summer are translated) SeaBed Not only are they great Yuri, but pretty fantastic VNs overall as well. 
Also do note that the full-voice version of Kindred Spirits should be coming out soon, so you might want to wait for that. 
 

No mention of Evenicle (also Alicesoft) yet? I haven't played any games of this type yet but I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I would suggest not asking for any more recommendations until you do so.

@DSKS you need to make a VNDB and link it so people know what you've already read. Everyone has been going by the titles you mentioned in your OP and trying to help only for you to shoot them down.
edit: whoops, I overlooked that littleshogun had already suggested this. I strongly second this suggestion.

In that case, then I hope that the OP @DSKS here will have fun with Daibanchou, although keep in mind that the walkthrough for that will be overwhelming for the first player though.
PS - Also just in case the OP here still didn't play these two VNs, then I would recommend you to try both of Tears to Tiara (Also in case you still didn't watched it) and Venus Blood Chimera (If the OP okay with tentacle rape and mind break). Also I would like to recommend OP here to make VNDB account and list the VNs that were already finished, so that people would have easier time to give the recommendations.

Walking to the neighboring city when I was limited in time instead of using public transport probably wasn't the smartest idea I ever made in my life. Especially considering that my phone showed me the way that turned out to impossible, so in the end I still had to ride one station on a train.
It was fun though.

Since I got explicitly called out here, I feel somewhat obligated to comment... I don't think of myself as a purist at all, nor do I think there's such a thing as a perfect translation. I do still think there are both good translations and bad translations, and it doesn't look like that's really being debated here either (though I imagine the defining characteristics of a good translation would be very hotly debated!).
Just to offer two common arguments for "good" translation over "bad" translation which I haven't seen mentioned here:
I think a bad translation is an insult to the original writers. VNs are in fact written by professionals, and the vast majority of those professionals work their ass off to produce something worth reading. I think it's unfair to them to produce a translation which is obviously lower quality than the original. And, why is that...? A good writer makes the story beats land, makes you giggle at the jokes, and occasionally reduces you to a blubbering mess of tears. If you're basically just reading VNs to see the CGs and the sprites, to listen to the music, and maybe to kind of understand what's going on overall, well, you're entitled to enjoy things the way you want to. But me, I really like reading, and I want to get the same full-color experience when reading a game in English translation that the Japanese readers got reading the original. That means, at a high level, that the logical flow from line to line needs to be maintained, that the result needs to be true in spirit and in content to the original. My go-to example is always that the jokes need to still be funny. Look, everyone can believe what they want to believe, and I don't think anyone here is going to change their mind. But regardless of what some readers may think, I do think that translators should care about their writing quality. If you think you're translating something and you're not worrying about delivering an equivalent experience, then I think you aren't doing your job.

Huuuuuuuuh... I see many things that are absolutely wrong with your statement. First, really there's no translation quality/choice drama in other otaku niches? I've seen people going apeshit over minor details in anime translations and inconsistencies between the fan and official versions. On the one hand, there'll always be purists that are demanding top quality every time and on the other, there will be botched or poor-quality translation on both the fan and official side of things. The more choice and comparison people have, the more likely they are to criticize underperforming projects - when fan translators were your only hope for playing pretty much any VNs, you were less likely to complain about their work than now, when they compete with a fairly rich selection of professional releases. I things it's even somewhat legit to argue that nowadays there's little sense in translating a VN unless you can do it well.
The second, do you know about many EVNs being translated to Japanese? People actually caring about those? It's a non-topic, but I would be surprised if Japanese VN fans didn't have a problem with poor translations - they aren't used to awful localizations and don't treat them as "facts of life" like Western otakus were forced to by turd-quality products offered to them on a regular basis. Demanding quality seems like a pretty reasonable standard, especially for commercial products. And the VN fandom today is not reliant on fan translations anymore and people's attitudes towards those are not any kind of "crucial barrier" for its growth.
Also, there are many other reasons why fan translations are pretty much dying out - people that once done them professionalizing or moving on with their lives is the main one and there's no going back from this. What's left is the official publishers, and if you suggest we shouldn't take those up to highest scrutiny as their clients, that's pretty much saying you want them to screw you over with subpar services. Well, you're allowed to act against your own self-interest of course, but that doesn't look like a healthy narrative.

I'd also add Zanmataisei Demonbane which definitely has horror elements (especially Tiberius). And Liar-Soft's Steampunk series could also fit, since they all have Lovecraftian horror elements, even if I wouldn't call them horror VN's.
