  1. a) OP edited their post, so you can't even tell what I found to be rude. I accept it could've been a matter of interpretation of phrasing. b) this thread is over a week old
  2. You didn't explain that clearly, I also gave a specific VN suggestion... and now you're just being rude.
  3. Fate/Stay Night could be a suitable choice. The parent tag "superpowers" is wider and could bring up some more suitable matches: https://vndb.org/g6?fil=tagspoil-0.tag_inc-6;m=0;o=d;s=rating Maybe "fighting heroine" as well: https://vndb.org/g65?fil=tagspoil-0.tag_inc-65;m=0;o=d;s=rating
  4. As @Plk_Lesiak says, superheroes, in the strict sense of the word, aren't really a thing in VNs. The term "superhero" wouldn't typically make me think of magical girls. Could you list some anime to give more of an idea of what you're looking for?
  5. PC for me. I think visual novels are best suited for PC. They're the easiest to control on PC, they originated on PC, and the experience just feels most right on PC to me. It feels more personal to interact with characters who are right in front of you on the screen. And certainly it's the most comfortable for reading text. Portable consoles are too small, although the portability can be nice occasionally. Home consoles - well, I don't like playing a VN on the big screen nearly as much.
  6. Earl grey tea! With milk. If I'm gonna eat I usually take a break to do so.
  7. I have a similar tendency. I usually play ~3 VNs at the same time and have a handful of other VNs that I count as currently playing, usually I'm in between routes in those. I suppose maybe I'd finish them faster if I focused on one at a time, but I'm not sure I could manage that. I do the same thing with other types of media.
  8. I'm now also pretty hyped. Didn't think it'd happen. And the PR team news is great... sorely needed. Wilhelm is a superb character, and one of the few I'd most like more of.
  9. Adults not coming to terms with nudity. Ah yes, Japan. Do you think if you live there and look in the mirror naked, you get real-life mosaics...? But in my VNs, I don't mind too much either way. Ideally, they're not there.
  10. Why not join some of the VN-related Discord servers? See: https://www.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/comments/8g277m/list_of_fanmade_specific_vn_series_related/ Fuwanovel has its own discord, too:
  11. @Plk_Lesiak Personally, I'd advise starting with Bakemonogatari and then returning to watch the Kizumonogatari movies. The LNs began with Bake, then Kizu. I feel you need Bake's context to care about Kizu's events. And to adjust to the rather unique style. Which may not be for everyone, but Bake eases you into it over the course of a series with slower pacing in neat 25 min packages. Edit: my other piece of advice would be that yeah, there's a lot of fast talking and it's all quite incomprehensible and bizarre at first. But just... go with the flow and don't think too hard.
  12. Update: It was really friggin' good. Wish the Steam 18+ patch worked properly though. At first there were no voices in NSFW scenes, but that was fixed quickly. The achievements still don't work though, so there was some skipping and poking around to get them. Now I have to impatiently wait for more Nitro+chiral in English.
  13. Just wait and see, I'll probably be in the history books for the fastest transformation into a fujoshi this forum has ever seen
  14. The official English release of the BL VN sweet pool by JAST USA is in a few hours! It's gonna be my first BL, and I'm excited. Being an EOP, there seem to be a limited number of translated BL out there...
  15. I've used it to attempt to recover sodden electronics. Was only partially successful. Guess that's what you get when you drop your phone down the toilet. I've also been known to eat it, usually with other foodstuffs. Sometimes I find some variety of it in my shoe locker and use it to cast Hamaon.
  16. I think it's very tough to get a yuri VN with both a good measure of plot (not counting romance plot) AND romance. Given that your example is Subahibi, perhaps go for something that may be considered light on romance, but still classes as yuri? These are outside of my own personal knowledge, but seem like good contenders and have all but one been mentioned in this thread or your previous one: Katahane, Aoishiro, Ne no Kami, Fatal Twelve and The Shadows of Pygmalion.
  17. Welcome, welcome! What are your favourite VNs thus far?
  18. Sankyuu for the hats Fiddle! I'm not one for Christmas but y'all seem to be having so much fun. Not sure I'm satisfied with my edit but it'll do until I decide it needs fixed!
  19. Like a few others have said, I'm pretty out of touch with the anime world. I tend to watch older anime here and there. Having said that, AWWW SHITTT YEAH NEW BUGIIPOPPU ADAPTATION. And new Type-Moon anime? Very interesting. Also, "shy mystery writer brings a stray cat home as a muse"? (Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.) That sounds right up my street. SOL mermaids also sounds like promising fluff. Haven't heard of 3D Kanojo before but I'd give it a try. And I'm sure I'll end up watching Alicization at some point.
  20. That's a fair point re: NLA, but I think there's a trade-off to be made with plot and "typical romance". Still got plenty of nice lesbian flirting going on at the very least. From what I recall reading of SeaBed there's not a whole lot of typical romance going on either. Kindred Spirits is indeed fantastic, but arguably pretty damn light on plot. I still think it's worth a try for @Happiness+, especially thanks to the structure of the VN. There's a calendar and you unlock scenes, which needn't be read in any particular order once they're available. It delivers SOL in neat little bundles and I found this advantageous! You can, for example, at that time, jump about between the different couples being followed, or progress one couple's story for a while in order. Whatever amuses you!
  21. I'm reading Nurse Love Addiction at the moment. It is VERY much not what one would expect just from the title. There is plot! I strongly second Flowers. The finest of urges! Also one I've been discovering, too.
  22. OK, I think I'm unqualified to help much, and I don't know what that says (someday I will, hopefully). But is your system in Japanese locale? If not, try that. Also maybe see:
