Overambition has been their downfall. They tried getting as many licenses as they could from their genesis until around 2017 without any preparation on how to get those licenses translated and out in a reasonable period of time.

Im at a loss for words at how you've been using one of the worst windows version up until now. Anyway, i use both atlas and vnr on windows 10. Change the date on your windows to before the atlas expiration date and it should work

I looked into that Chaos;Child patch, and it looks like major PITA to install and use - if you want to be legal, you have to buy TWO versions of the game - Japanese PC version and English console version, then extract scripts from console patch, and finally apply PC patch installer
With official console translations, it's really surprising that there's no official English PC release.

Riho from Deardrops is a realistic tsundere. She's not harsh because hurr durr, she has real problems getting along with people.
Kei from Ef, on the other hand, is abuse because abuse.
Kyou from Clannad is your regular somewhat angry student girl, but the transition from tsun to dere is very well done, one of the better tsunderes under the sun. Also being surrounded by dorks like Sunohara makes her angst pretty much understandable.

I'm playing Eien no Aselia right now. Definitely worth playing in my opinion. It did have rape scenes in the original Japanese version, but only the all-ages version got translated.

Nah, Steam is completely unrelated to Chuablesoft's bankruptcy. MG has license for SukiSuki, and solved all legal problems - otherwise they couldn't publish it anywhere.
Probably they aren't going to release it on Steam, because there's no all-ages version, and releasing adult high-school based VN there would be quite risky , if even all-ages versions aren't safe, as recent HGB ban has shown...
