I see the whole thing pretty relaxed. When Konosora was released is was a brand new high quality VN amongst lots of old and average stuff. At that time it stood out and therefore it did really hurt that it was censored that way.
But nowadays there are so many new and good releases from all kinds of publishers that it got almost impossible to keep up with all the new stuff anyway. So I'm almost grateful to get a reason to skip this one - there are lots of replacements to fill the gap.
Moenovel doesn't care even the slightest bit about the English fan base, they only care about their sales. They therefore never had to reconsider their policy since Konosora sold great. So if anyone really wants Moenovel to get a change of mind, the best thing is to just not buy the title in this state. If sales are poor they might reconsider, but if sales are still good, why should they change anything?

There is a set of crows who live on the tree outside my house. Their purpose in life is to wait for me to come out, before they shit on me.
No joke, they have it perfected down to an art form. I literally get shit on 3-6 times a week.

So, I played and finished the game this morning with a buddy of mine, and hoooooooo boy, there's a lot to talk about.
If you aren't familiar with the game, it just released on Steam on Oct. 6, 2 days before this post. Here's the steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/698780/Doki_Doki_Literature_Club/
So at first glance, it looks pretty moe, right? Then you see the warning: "This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed."
Now, what could that mean? Such a cutesy, moe, romance visual novel has such a dark warning. This game is very different from what you'd expect, and it's such a unique experience. I'd recommend you definitely play it when you have the time, it's free after all.
Now, to those of you who have played this game already, here's a thread for discussion if you'd like to discuss things. This is mostly just to notify people about the game, but discussion is welcome.

Yeah, I had that suspicion. But I am not reading the spoiler before I finish the game.
Edit. And this the case where I'd rather go in completely blind and explore different choices myself rather than using a walkthrough.

Some of the vocabulary and sentence structure used in the SP version's narration seems slightly too formal to be from student's perspective, but it's still miles better than the fan tl. I'm impressed by the dialogue writing.

So far it sounds like you're all cut from the same mould
Apart from the otaku stuff... I love music, hifi, audiophilia, build my own loudspeakers etc. , enjoy high performance cars and driving, PC tech, linux related development (I'm a kernel dev), bitcoin development, fine food and wine and all other forms of alcohol too (might start a distillery soon), beaches, skiing, touring Japan and eating its delicacies and experiencing its everything else, reading fantasy and scifi (not much these days), the environment and walking, movies and more... Half of that stuff I do with my wife and/or kids too. Used to do lots of other stuff too like scuba diving but you grow out of things and think fondly of them but have no desire to do them any more.

Just an online conversation I had recently with a friend.
Me: I used to be a big fan of classical adventure games when I was in high-school. And the games I play now are even more niche.
    Him: Visual novels, right?
Me: Right) How did you guess it?
Him: I don't now lol. You seem like the type to like them.

    Devouring fiction of different kinds.
Learning some interesting facts about history (usually, through Youtube, podcasts and some articles).
I like traveling, but I don't have many opportunities to travel nowadays, so I mostly get by with watching Youtube and exploring Google Street View. I also enjoy taking long walks in the parts of my city I've never been to before.
From time to time I'm trying (and failing) to create something decent in RPG Maker.
Physics... well, I can't call it my hobby anymore. I study it at the uni, and actually spending my free time on it? No. I know, I need to do it to become good at it. Though I do enjoy watching/reading popsci from time to time.

Also I'm not sure why there's weird line breaks on the original fan translation screenshots, maybe it's the way I installed it on Windows 10..

Moenovel censored their second game in a devious way to try to cover up the fact they were doing it.  They released it first in English, then several months later released it in Japan ... with h-scenes added and specifically said to only be for Japan.  That sounds more or less like the kind of trick you'd expect to fool 12 year old girls, so yeah, I'd say they are
