  1. I'm glad to see it made a strong impact on you like it did to me! It really was a beautiful VN.
  2. I've been having PC troubles myself this year. First it was because I bricked my Motherboard after attempting a BIOS update without researching into it more first... Second was yesterday after spending the entire day trying to figure out why my PC would take a little over 40 minutes to load Windows, as opposed to like 2 seconds with my SSD boot drive. It ended up being my secondary SSD that only holds Steam and my games! As soon as I disconnected it, it booted up fine. Who would have thought that one extra hard drive that only has games installed could mess up the system so much, huh? Suffice to say my SSD for games is dead. Luckily I got a secondary 500GB SSD for my games a few months back. If you know someone with a PSU that can handle your system, I'd recommend you ask if you could borrow it to test if it's your PSU that's died. If the computer just randomly stopped switching on, chances are it's the PSU. Happend to me a few years back.
  3. I'll be keeping an eye out for this! I really like what I've seen so far! Please keep up the good work!
  4. It looks very pretty! I'll check out the demo when I'm not dying from the hot summer heat. Please keep up the good work!
  5. I can see a lot of work has been put into this. I wish you all the best!
  6. Congrats on your game being greenlit on Steam! This looks pretty interesting, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.
  7. Denpasoft release it is for me then~! I'm getting there in finishing the first one.
  8. I'm out of the loop! Why the hype? Educate me~!
  9. Although I haven't read many just yet, If My Heart Had Wings blew me away without a doubt. It was the one that got me interested in VN's initially after picking it up on sale, I it got me genuinely interested in the technical side of things of flying and such. It was a pretty interesting read!
  10. I'm pretty conflicted. On one hand I do, and the other I kinda' don't. I guess they are technically games, but I don't treat them as such. I think of them on what they're called: a 'Visual' 'Novel'. So a novel that has visual representations to go with it to help enhance the story in a way. Some have more game-like features, but they're usually just what they are: a visual novel.
  11. I'm very glad to hear that you're happier with your life now that you're working on something that truly makes you happy. I may be one of those who doesn't have any interest in the BL genre, but that doesn't mean I don't acknowledge your hard work into making your very own VN, I wish you all the best with it all! Welcome to the community.
  12. Your friend was very wise to guide you to here. Welcome to Fuwa~! You'll find pretty much everything you need here in regards to information about VN's and such.
  13. I want to say I'm an Otaku, but saying I'm 'obsessed' with those things feels like it's stretching it a little bit...I...I'm lost, Eclipsed. I don't know what I am any more...
  14. I told you I'd be back with a like, Mitch!
  15. I never said encryption 'isn't safe', I said it isn't '100% safe'. At the end of the day, I personally wouldn't take a risk, no matter how small when it comes to personal information falling into the wrong hands. Tay asked the community for some advice, and I gave mine.
  16. If you think having encrypted files means your data is 100% safe, you are very ignorant. Nothing is ever truly secure, and I would rather be safe than sorry. Sure the chances of his encrypted data being breached may be low, but not impossible. I'd personally rather not take that chance, especially after witnessing such a scenario in the past. I take my personal information security very seriously.
  17. Double, triple check every site you can possibly remember still being logged into and having passwords saved for. I know you already said you made it that far, but there's always a chance you could have forgotten some. Especially since you just unfortunately experienced being robbed. I'd also recommend changing some sensitive email addresses you may use that are private. My example is I have an email address solely for my bank and trusted shopping sites I have payment options saved to. If this happened to me, I would definitely change that specific email address. Especially if I start receiving spam mail after all the years I've had my secret email address, I've never once received any spam. Sorry to hear about this, Tay. I wish you all the best.
  18. I'd imagine that's just called a ribbon and it's tied in a specific way. I don't know if this counts but... I liked it when Michiru wore that cat on her head like an accessory for a while.
  19. I'd just like to add my two cents in that I believe tracing is perfectly fine as long as it's something simple like fan art or learning to draw, but if someone who makes a living from drawing as a professional starts to trace other peoples' work, then it definitely is morally wrong and in a way, stealing the original artist's work. Using other images for reference and inspiration is all well and fine, but tracing an original image and just replacing a couple of features to make it into your own, well you have to draw a line somewhere, right? Artists should aspire to create their own original work, not steal from others. Where's the creativity in that?
  20. One of my nicknames is 'Frank' and I forget stuff...like a lot. I could ask you a question and you answer, and literally three seconds later, I'll ask you the same question again. Hence Forgetful Frank.
