hmm I can see a lot of people being disappointed in reading this VN then. I honestly felt the same way with Nekopara, and then I found out about the cut content, then patched it and then... ...I changed my mind.

Welcome to Fuwa~! Well...you've already been lurking for a while, but welcome anyway!

Welcome to Fuwa~! Wow! You started reading VN's roughly around the same time as me, and you've already read more than I have... B-But...that's mainly because I'm a VN crack-head and started too many at once!

If My Heart Had Wings - Missing CG from page 11
Forgetful Frank replied to ennui's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
That's actually pretty interesting to hear about, I played the Steam version and downloaded the restoration patch from a community guide on there last year Christmas time, and I unlocked every single CG just fine. -
I look forward to being surprised in the future then! The only nukige I've played and finished so far is Eroge!, so I haven't experienced one with a pretty good story yet. But in time... Would you consider this one being a nukige with a good story? Assuming you've already read it, of course.

What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?
Forgetful Frank replied to solidbatman's topic in Gaming Talk
Current games I want to finish before the end of this year: God Eater Resurrection Tales of Zestiria Zero Escape Minecraft: Story Mode Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Second Play-through without DLC) If I can get all these games finished by then, I'll be happy. I'm planning on picking up a bunch of new stuff during the Steam Christmas sales, including Witch 3's expansions. I'm planning on picking up Tales of Berseria on release, so that's why Zestiria is definitely high on my priority this year. -
What manga are you currently reading?
Forgetful Frank replied to Snowtsuku's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Since I've gotten' myself a laptop now, I think I'll be able to find it more enjoyable in reading manga online. So I'm planning on continuing reading Prison School and Tokyo Ghoul: RE. I'm trying to build up my physical manga collection up, but I really need to focus on sorting out on redecorating my room first. I'm getting the remaining volumes of Deadman Wonderland this Christmas, so I'm looking forward in continuing the story then. -
After taking a long break from anime, I'm now finally able to pick up where I last left off. I'm currently trying to get through: GATE S2 Sword Art Online II Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger Once I've finished watching these, I then have to catch up on Naruto Shippuuden and One Piece. After I've finished watching and catching up with these, I'll start my next batch of anime I plan to watch.

Whirlpool Also Targeting Western Market (Nekonin Steam page up)
Forgetful Frank replied to Yuuko's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'd definitely be interested in it, the more translated VN's the merrier. Although I do agree with the general consensus in getting more medium-longer VN's rather than the short ones we've been getting like Nekopara and Corona Blossom. I can't comment on CB, as I haven't played it yet, but as much as I did enjoy the Nekopara games, they're too short! Would definitely love more VN's with Princess Evangeline's length coming our way officially. But saying that, of course I won't turn away more of the shorter ones, especially if they're at least decent and worth the read. -
ehhhhh I'd be interested if there was an 18+ version available, I can't see the point in localising a nukige and not do that. Unless of course the plot is good, but of course we all know that's not exactly the main point of a nukige now, is it?

I-I didn't mind it...

After @mitchhamilton and @DarkZedge showing me the error of my ways...I've stopped playing the other several VN's I've started and not finished, and began focusing on one at a time. I'm now reading Princess Evangile and I'm completely addicted to the story and characters, and can't stop reading it!

Picky snob asking for anime recs!
Forgetful Frank replied to Ariurotl's topic in Anime/Manga Recommendations
Have you watched Death Note? That's definitely a must-watch anime, especially if you like interesting stories. It's basically a high school student who stumbles across a book that has 'Death Note' on the front cover, and it looks pretty much like you're average notebook. Only if you visualise the person you want to die, and then write down their full-name, they die shortly afterwards. So he ends up taking it upon himself to 'rid the world of evil' and starts killing criminals who get broadcast on the news. This attracts the attention of the world's most renowned detective who nobody knows anything about who he is or what he looks like other than he refers to himself as 'L'. Thus starts the epic battle of wits between two brilliant-minded individuals where they have to try and trick and outsmart one another in order to defeat the other. It's a really good psychological thriller mixed with just a touch of supernatural fantasy. I second the other people who recommended Fullmetal Alchemist Broterhood. Don't watch the original series though, I felt that it started off really good (where they followed the manga's storyline) but then after they ran out of material from the manga, they decided to take it in a completely different direction which felt really crappy to me, some things just didn't really make sense. So many people recommended it to be years ago, and I agreed with them on how good it was up until that point. Fast-forward years later when the manga is finished and they do a proper adaptation of it, and it's absolutely brilliant. It has the right amount of action with enough mystery to keep you interested and wanting to know more, and plenty of things get revealed at a good steady pace. I highly recommend FMA: Brotherood. -
The hype wait is real.

Staying true to your 'Knight of Traps' title I see.

Reading this thread makes me a little jealous! I can't wait to visit Japan, me and my significant other are (slowly) saving up for a holiday there some day. We want so~ much spending money! I might bring an empty suitcase just for goodies.
