  1. I warned you that would happen It's not that hard - simply pick the project you want to work on the most based on how much you like the original VN and how much the team seems to fit with your psyche and requirements.
  2. WTF is this supposed to mean?
  3. Well I watched it for completion since I made it this far and the end was pretty much what I expected. In the unlikely event someone's still watching and doesn't want spoilers...
  4. I haven't even watched it yet, but after that wolfenstein episode where all hope was lost for the series, I've had zero expectations since then. The writing was abysmal... Shame since Izetta was très cute.

No, I'm the oldest member of the forum and my diet consists mostly of moege so it has nothing to do with age. I went through a cycle from moege->interesting story->intriguing story->intense story->radical story->shocking story->moege.
  6. Lol - sync, OP3 from Sousei no Onmyouji in its full version. Great bass and rhythm.
  7. @Mr Poltroon Shakugan was a pretty good watch from start to finish as an action series with some humour and the romance side of things was very minor, reserved mostly for OVAs, and every season was relatively complete and satisfying. However I watched it way back when it aired so my recollection may be getting foggy. On the other hand, I second @Fred the Barber's recommendation of Nagi no Asukara; that was an incredible watch. So I finished rewatching Haikyuu 1/2/3 with my wife. Great sports anime and looking forward to more seasons. Halfway through daily lives of high school boys; pretty funny stuff. Finally got off my arse and have started watching Steins;Gate by myself. 1 episode in and am enjoying it. Rewatching FMAB for what must be the 10th time! This time with my son who's turning 15 and has been enjoying anime but hasn't watched this life changing series yet. I promised him I'd watch it with him on the school holidays which have just started. What a masterpiece... I have to rewatch this at least once a year. I think they're the most played BDs in my collection. (Of course I'm also watching tons of shows that are currently airing but I never bother posting those on this thread.)
  8. I don't get why posts like this when they first appear all I get is a list of filenames instead of the embedded pictures, yet quoting them like this I can see the pictures... Style template issue or something else? Anyone?
  9. Even animated porn is illegal for underage viewers in many countries, hence why some of us were surprised he'd do it while in HS. Absolutely love it, not sick of it in bursts, even after viewing it for >20 years... but I do not think of it as an art form that can be discussed as art in class. Your passion got the better of you and you got carried away by it, not knowing when you were crossing social norms that are futile tackling in that way. There are some things the world is either not ready for, or - more accurately - does not want to ever be ready for.
  10. I third it. When I rewatched this with my wife I couldn't get over how feel-good, funny, and enjoyable it was, while being a completely different romantic comedy to all the others.
  11. I don't doubt that you did, but everyone has a different sensitivity to drama (I can tolerate almost none these days) and the opening poster didn't elaborate on how much drama he can tolerate. EDIT: To the opening poster, I have a thread looking for relatively drama-less romantic anime here: Although I don't list the ones I've already seen, there are plenty recommended in there too.
  12. God no... to either of those. Well, unless he likes harems for the former and drama for the latter. I guess he didn't elaborate.
  13. Rewatching Haikyuu1/2 with my wife now that Haikyuu3 is finished so we can watch that together. Great sport anime. Watching danshi koukousei no nichijou after seeing this post in the post pics thread: Enjoying it so far. Funny.
  14. Yeah you can go from laughter and happiness to suicidal from such a simple switch.
  15. Magic and transformations? If you haven't yet watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica, it's time to.
  16. Clicking on blog entries on the right column still takes us to the latest entry instead of the top of the post or new comment.
  17. Happy Birthday @Benji Price my hard working proofreader. For your birthday present I will double your pay to twice as many peanuts for today.
  18. Talk about polar opposites... Loved Infinite Stratos' silliness. WA2 was exactly the opposite. Enjoy.
  19. Get yourself a Japan Rail Pass which Deep Blue linked you above which gives you unlimited travel on the shinkansen over a time period for much cheaper than multiple discrete tickets. It's incredibly easy to go from city to city once you have one of these. Note that it won't work on certain Shinkansen trips (like Nozomi and Mizuho which are more express trips - they all have different names) but you can still get on the majority of them. Once you have a rail pass you can get onto the free seating carriages freely but if you're more organised and go to a JR ticket office with your JR pass at least the day before you can simply book a seat in the seated area though it takes a little longer. During busy periods you may even find yourself standing on a Shinkansen if you are trying to use the free seating carriages which can be rather awkward. Here's a more generic link rather than the UK one above: http://www.japanrailpass.net/en/ As for getting around Tokyo, regular train train train, everywhere. Above ground, subway, high speed, monorail, whatever. Just take trains everywhere. The trains in Osaka aren't quite as comprehensive and Kyoto much less so, and you'll need to take buses which are rather slow...
  20. You should have looked in the recommendation section you've just posted in first. This thread should keep you busy:
  21. Select an mpeg-1 decoder. I'm not sure how much simpler I can make the instructions. I don't have windows so can't screenshot what it should look like.
  22. During install, not after it's running. But basically any way you configure it, which you can do after it's running and looks different, check the mpeg-1 settings. Usually ffdshow does NOT set an mpeg-1 decoder.
