This is a new solo video series I'm starting to recap Major News each month related to Visual Novel Releases, Announcements, Major Project Updates, and the Community. For the first video, I wanted to include July since it was a pretty big month with all the Anime Expo announcements. Feel free to leave any feedback, positive or negative. Constructive preferred.

Lucky you enjoy it. Whilst the romantic overtones were nice they were too few and I struggled with Takagi and just wanted to throttle the fucking bitch and gave up a few episodes into season 2.

The contrast between the picture and the voice was a bit shocking at first. Besides that I like the idea. I mean it didn't offer much if you follow the scene closely, but not everybody does or has the time. Even for me this short reminder of what happened in the last two months was nice. I generally liked that you put relevant pictures in the background with most news, as an visual aid. It would be nice to extend that to the new announcements during the conventions, or if that is to much work to edit, at least put list of the announced titles in the background. A lot of the new titles don't have translated names when they get announced and It would be easier to see the name on screen for the new projects. I liked that you incorporated some Japanese news as well (new Yuzusoft and Minato announcements) but I am afraid that you open a whole can of worms with that. I am sure there where plenty of Japanese VN news, announcements and releases during that time, so how do select what to feature in your news video and what not.

Prior to Subahibi, I was on an somewhat anti-philosophy binge namely because of my upbringing and how annoying it all was. I kinda just ignored all the newer philosophers come of the 20th century. Then after I finally read the damn VN, I realized the importance of philosophy, again... I picked up some Russell and read up Wittgenstein, after Ayana kept talking to me about it in the final ending. Next thing I knew, I was reading critical theory ......and actually enjoying this shit. I guess I’ve always been interested in philosophy since I watched evangelion 10 years ago, but that was basic shit I think every high school freshman should learn. But what made lose my interest in philosophy, especially philosophy of science, was Sam Harris. I blame him in his book, end of faith. It’s kind of surreal, reading a moe eroge that talks more about empiricism, falsifiability, and scientific revolutions than a book whose sole focus is epistemological. This is exactly why I consider visual novels—literature, a form of critical theory.

Hah, I didn't think anyone would mention it, but it is definitely my choice. I don't think any other anime left me wanting more as much as this one. ^^ That would be so hard to do though, considering how meandering the manga gets after the stuff that already got adapted? The Goddesses Arc was a really good place to leave it at.

Finished replaying Fal's route in Symphonic Rain and I was reminded why I loved her and her route so much Now it's time for the route of a lonely girl sitting in the far corner of a silent room.

Yeah, that's a scene that really left a bad taste in my mouth and colored my view of Majikoi ever since then It's an awful scene that really doesn't belong in a comedy vn

It's given me the opportunity to play through a few truly incredible stories that have had a lasting impression on me and influenced a lot of the writing I want to do Plus, it's shown me a bunch of truly great female characters that I would never had encountered had I just plain regular old videogames Negative Fuck man I can't hardly talk about it with anyone without a shit ton of caveats and provisos. You know, I think it might have something to do with some vns called I Want to Throat Fuck You Till You Pass Out~Fun Sucking Whore Time!!? or I Dream of Semen Filled Sluts! But, maybe that's just me.
