TexasDice
Isuzu's route wastes a little too much time on the first part and rushes it's second act too fast. But the planetarium scene is still just great, I won't ever forget that. _________________ Harukoi Otome tricked me. My "white-haired-senpai-in-a-hospital-bed"-fetish was used to lure me into a (admittedly fine) story, that took waaay to looong to end. One of the many rules in storytelling; Don't waste my time. Keep it going and move on. I really don't need two hours to talk circles around the same problem. I almost gave up,
Decay
The rest of Harukoi Otome is not any better, take my word for it. In fact, that's one of the better routes. The Riru route... *shudder*
Lambda
I played the trial for No Thank You! It's pretty good and pretty funny. The main character comments on a bara's 'tiddies', he calls them all adorable minus one, is an airhead to the point of not bothering to remember anyone's names and seems to think everything's interesting. I liked him, actually. Made the h-scenes funny, too. The guys are p. moe. I suggest trying it out if you're a fan of BL games. I was gonna buy it anyway, so the demo really just got me impatient, but I couldn't resist...

castor212
Just finished d2b VS DEARDROPS : 8/10. 1. Play this game. 2. Music is great. CG is great. 3. Gives you THE FEELS. 4. It’s short… and sweet. 5. No sex. (Because we all have to take a break from fapping sometime) \ :v /
Lambda
Is it enough to warrant attention from a male audience? Also, regarding Ayakashibito... Not unless you like BL. The game is sex-scene heavy, I heard (the trial is the first day of the game + an h-scene for each guy). There are even options if you want the MC to cum in the guy's mouths or outside and inside or outside, as well as the amount of hair each guy has... Yeah... It's just a demo, though, so 1. none of those choices really apply and 2. you could probably just try the demo first day part + one of the sex scenes and see how you feel. I loved that scene :') One of the best Shuugen scenes... he's just 2 cute...
Kosakyun
I loved that scene :') One of the best Shuugen scenes... he's just 2 cute... Shuugen's pretty cute yeah. I wonder what'll happen when Shoushichiro screws Touko. Ehehehehehe~
Lambda
Shuugen's pretty cute yeah. I wonder what'll happen when Shoushichiro screws Touko. Ehehehehehe~ Amazing Shuugen things happen. Well, that's a little bit of an obvious fact, considering Shuugen is always great, but it must be said. I'll wait until you finished Touko's route for maximum fangirling (and I might go back and read her other two endings maybe...). But that scene from Tonya's route was definitely the cutest Shuugen scene. Well, that and dat blush (my affection for Shuugen actually started from teasing him and joking about how much he needed a route and then it somehow became real oops)

Decay
I survived Canvas 2, nothing can kill me now. Probably. I'll just drop it anyway, since my Kira*Kira download is finished.
Vokoca
Slowly making it through the cursed visual novel RuiTomo. On Koyori's route now, and... augh, this is hard to read. ;_; I hate this kind of stuff, it literally makes me nervous as well. I enjoy reading utsuge and such, but this very specific kind of drama really gets to me - if there is a VN specialising on specifically being as uncomfortable and awkward as possible, I probably wouldn't make it through alive. Kosakyun
So I finished Tonya's route in Ayakashibito. ...It was somewhat similar to Kunagi's end in Daibanchou.

Tawm
Currently playing Killer Queen. I'm around 8 hours in, and it's absolutely awful. Someone put in countless hours and effort into localizing it, but I don't see any redeeming value which warrant it so far. It must be one of those games you play solely for the ending, otherwise I fail to see why anyone would spend time on a localization. Ugly, generic art with reused backgrounds over and over and over and over. Generic character designs paired with throwaway stereotypes whom I don't care whether live or die. Music that is so generic, it required less effort to compose than a Nickelback CD. I'll finish it in a few hours, but please, someone help me understand why THIS out of all things was localized. Sorry to disappoint you, but there's not such a thing. At least not in the first episode-- the ending is just as awful and generic as the rest of the VN. I haven't read the rest yet myself, so maybe it does get better, but I can't find the energy to continue.

I don't think I can stomach another 3-ish hours of this crap after all; and I sat through every route in Muv-Luv Extra, which should say a 1000 words about how unbearable Killer Queen is. FinalChaos
Finished Tears to Tiara. Overall it was good and enjoyable, but I feel that it could have been much better. In the first half, the many scenes in which we are shown the casual days were pretty boring. Throughout the whole game I found myself much more interested in the events of the great war(the war that occurred long before the start of the game and is like the lore of the vn), I was interested in the great war but didn't really care much about what was happening in the present. The usual load of worthless h-scenes were also present. The heroines hardly got any character development. I am torn in my opinions towards Tears to Tiara as I fully loved it's lore and the philosophies it presented, but the character development of the heroines and hence the sense of attachment towards them was missing. Well, dear oh dear. I haven't started episode 2 yet, perhaps because I feel it may have a different atmosphere than the one episode 1 had. But I'll have to admit, that first episode was really my cup of tea. Enjoyed every moment of it.
Rose
Why? I'm assuming you already read it, so I'll be spoiling below Shirou in UBW was better than him in Fate, so I was expecting him to be a bit better in HF, which ain't really the case. Souichirou, Lancer and Assassin (Kojirou) are already out, and those were among my favorite characters so far. Also, the new assassin makes me wanna facepalm so hard. TexasDice
Getting ready for Kira*Kira, I'm really looking forward to that. The current HoshiMemo readers should update in this thread more frequently, because I care.
ServeTheServant
Finished Steins; Gate -- might loop back to get 100% CG + achievements, but probably not. I'm satisfied with the true ending, it ends on enough of a conclusive note that I don't feel any need to revisit that world for a while. I started up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and I think I'll simultaneously read a moege. Maybe I'll just power through KonoSora's Ageha route, since it seems the 2nd planned Fuwa patch has stalled... or maybe Ikikoi? Dunno.
