There ain't enough Christmas round these parts. The most Christmasy thing I've seen is that background of the main page that I fear shall crash my browser.
 
Therefore, it's time to get into the Christmas mood (if you know what I mean (I actually mean Christmas mood (how could that even be construed as sexual; I even said "Christmas" (jeez, y'all gotta get your minds out of the gutter)))) with some Santa hats!

Note that:
If your avatar is a gif, it'll obviously be a lot harder to edit, so I'll have to be in a good mood. If you write me a poem about penguins in iambic tetrameter, however, I'll definitely do it. If you want another Santa hat that isn't in the image above (because you don't think my Google image clipart is good enough, you persnicketer), then feel free to post it. I'll have to do editing and stuff, though, so I'd prefer that you choose from the above list. Santa hats don't exactly go perfectly with all avatars, usually because whatever person or thing the avatar contains is too close to the top. For example, see that the hat in mine is slightly cut off. I'll still do my best, however. Don't worry about saving your avatars. I'll save all of your original avatars and then post them another topic after Christmas, assuming that I don't hold them hostage in order to make you swear the pledge to the Oxford comma.

Clannad is a Japanese Visual Novel created by the company Key which is known for its other titles such as Air and Kanon.
Clannad, unlike its predecessors, does not contain any adult content but instead, focuses on the relationships between the characters.
Story

Clannad's story revolves around Tomoya Okazaki, a third year high school student who dislikes his life. Tomoya's mother (Atsuko) died when Tomoya was young, leaving his father (Naoyuki) to raise him. After the accident, Tomoya's father turned to alcohol and gambling, and held frequent fights with his son.

One day, Naoyuki, again arguing with his son, slammed Tomoya against the wall, dislocating Tomoya's shoulder. Ever since then, his father has treated Tomoya nicely, but distantly, as if Tomoya and he were strangers rather than a family. This hurts Tomoya more than his previous relationship with his father, and the awkwardness of returning home leads Tomoya constantly to stay out all night. Additionally, the injury disables Tomoya from participating in his basketball club, and pushes him to distance himself from his school and other activities. Thus his delinquent life begins. Tomoya's good friend Youhei Sunohara, who got thrown out of the soccer club for a dispute, is also a delinquent and often hangs out in his dorm room with Tomoya doing nothing much.

A Guide to the Minigames within Clannad
Yukine's storage room curse
In Yukine's route there are 'spell games' that you can play on the 23rd and 24th of April. There are many different variations to the storage curse. Here is the list of Characters you can have fun with!!

Possibilities for Sunohara's Girlfriend
In Mei Sunohara's route you'll have to find Sunohara a girlfriend. You'll end up with Sanae in the end no matter what but here are some other fun options.

Throughout the Ibuki Fuko route you can play pranks on Fuko but here are some things you'll have to pay attention to.

3v3 Basketball Partners
During Nagisa and Toshio's route, there is a 3v3 Basketball Minigame where you can select your teammates.
You can have different partners other than Tomoyo and Kyou. Here's a detailed walkthrough for how to get each character:

Attention: Fubayashi Ryou, Ibuki Yukine and Furukawa Nagisa as partner will result in a loss, giving you the Bad End.

Baseball Fun
This is a fun route with Akio and other characters! It is possible to see the laser tag game with other options, but if you don't meet the criteria for the baseball scene, you will get a bad end immediately after the tag game. There are multiple outcomes to the baseball game, but these choices result in winning.

Jet Saito
There is a way you can cause Jet Saito to appear in two different places. The first few choices are the same, and split off once you decide where you want to see him. It's a one line cameo, but this is about the most random thing you'll ever see.

Jeez Louise, be careful with the embedded Youtube videos. Our computers have to load all of them, even if they are in spoilers. I believe that linking would be better, though I am too lazy to do either.
 
On-topic, it'd take forever to explain all my favorites. BGM can decide whether or not I enjoy a VN. I'd say some of the most notable are "Narcissus" from Narcissus, "Over the Rainbow" from Over the Rainbow (srs about those two), "Sprouting" from Rewrite, "The Girl from the Starry Sky" from My Girlfriend is the President, "Hyun-ae (Innocence)" from Analogue: A Hate Story "Dream" from Hate Plus, and pretty much everything from Katawa Shoujo, among others. That's to make no mention of OPs, which are excellent more often than not.

Idk about love, but a personal object of mine that I treasure very much and keep with me at all times is a foldable pocket frisbee:

I have hyperhidrosis, so if I run for like 2 seconds I'll start sweating buckets like a donkey in a sauna. Really made growing up difficult at times since people generally consider sweating a gross thing.

So when my childhood friend (lulz) gave me this as a possible solution to my condition (portable fan! omg hax) I was pleasantly surprised at just how effective it actually was and have kept it with me ever since. It saved my ass when I had to go to class after P.E., and definitely saved my ass during high school prom (it gets unbelievably hot having to wear a tux and dance in a room full of people  ).

It's a little beaten up and all the middle skoo "ur mom" comments etc etc are faded, but here it is:

Hey everyone, a while back I gathered up a few members to begin reviewing visual novels. Well, we now have our first review completed and published. FuwaReviews will post at least 3 visual novel reviews monthly. Our first review was written by Down, and he takes a look at a recent release.

Summary

The hero of this story is Takashiro Shugo, an ex-police officer that is now unemployed and freeloading at a brothel. From time to time he takes on detective work from his former superior. As the story starts off, a missing person case is dumped onto him.
 
The person he is supposed to find is Kohzuki Yura, a girl he had an intimate relationship with before being sent off to war. While all this is being played out, a series of brutal killings occur in the background. As they strike closer to home, Shugo is no longer able to turn a blind eye and is dragged into the spiraling web of events.

 
Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order
 

The game has a rather linear plot and thus the routes don't massively branch off. This walkthrough doesn't use saves as per the guidelines but some routes will have very similar paths up until a certain point.
 
 
Koyuki & Seri and Kaori are bad ends rather than routes. Nana's and Takako's routes are bad ends too, there's no good end for them. The only good end routes are thus Hatsune and Kazuna. Kazuna's route has two different endings: a normal and a true one. The true one can only be unlocked after having obtained the normal one.
 
Following this walkthrough entirely in the order indicated will get you all the CGs. When I indicate (Your choice) there's a small variation on the CG to be collected so if you want 100% completion you should do both.

Here's what I'm looking for:
 
1) Preferably translated into English (...preferably, but it doesn't have to be because I'm learning Japanese anyways and wouldn't mind saving some content for the future)
 
2) Heroine like Aeka from Yume Miru Kusuri or Ikezawa Hanako from Katawa Shoujo.  Someone overly innocent, bashful and cute.  By the way, is there a name for this type of heroine (like there is for tsundere/osananajimi/etc?)
 
3) A really good moving story, with only a few H-scenes.  I'm not really looking for hardcore hentai every 20 minutes of reading or anything but I wouldn't mind a good reward here and there

Hmm...so far, of the VN's I've played, I have to say my overall favorite would have to be Hoshizora no Memoria. It had a wide variety of routes to choose from, the music was wonderful, and the plot was really touching at times. ThoughI think it might be tied for first with Sekien no Inganock -What a Beautiful People-. That one really got to me, especially as it came to and end. Haha, I actually have some ringtones I made from both of those, I liked the music so much.
 
As for me, I'm just your reclusive jack-of-all-trades. Well, even though I say that, I specialize in home brewing, tincture making, and writing.
 
On a sidenote, I had quite a good laugh over your name, Nohman! But sadly, I'm not a dingo.
