So this past week I was kind of bored and decided to dedicate a lot of my free time to this one level ROM hack I did about the Fuwanovel community. Basically I just hacked into one of my favorite video games (Fire Emblem 7 for the gba) and completely customized the text, events, characters, etc. It's just a parody of the VN community with a particular focus on Fuwanovel and with Tay as the main character. Here is the entire Intro and first chapter:

    Part 1:

On the contrary, many have been complaining recently of the lack of serious and meaningful threads, and it delights me, as I'm sure it does many others, to see a new one pop up. You should be proud.

Now back on topic. I chose child because well, out of the things a human must sacrifice himself for, children are one of the most important. I don't think I have to point out why children are important, like for the continuation of mankind and all that, but at least when compared to yourself and even your wife, they definitely come first.

Would you be able to even live with the knowledge that you prioritized your own self over your wife and child? Will a women accept the fact that her life was prioritized over her own child and husband? I think these are both rhetorical questions, at least for most people.

Alright, guess I'll become serious myself.

I'm of Sudanese origin, born in Britain, and now reside in Saudi Arabia. Currently studying Software Engineering at my local University. Interests include novels, VNs (duh), most mainstream anime, and a few LNs. I'm also a big History nerd, if that interests anyone *wink wink* . I promise not to beat my potential love interest.

Searching for the bomb love of my life, but of course I have rather strict standards, that I'll be listing out for anyone who meets my interest. If you past the halal test, you're probably fine though. What is the halal test you ask? Huehue, we have a lot to discuss...

Yeah this was shamelessly ripped from Eien no Aselia but I was really intrigued by this question. Believe it or not, I spent good 10 minutes thinking about my answer on this one. The question goes something like this:

The choices are the same but I added the 'None' to mix it up a bit.

For some missing details, try to imagine the situation as your own in the future. On what is the most possible situation you'll have at this point of time. Your child can be a boy or a grill, whichever you prefer.

I hope you won't simply slap an answer and that's it. I'm curious to how will you reason your morals and views on why did you choose that specific person to save. We can discuss about our different answers and views but please try not to get butthurt too much. And people, try not to provoke others into it. I'm sure you guys are good enough to phrase it non-aggressively. I'd like to keep this as civil as much as possible.

Now to start off, my answer.
I'd choose my child. I'm sure that it'll be hell after he survives but at least he has some hope. I have my siblings and I'm very sure that they'll take care of them when I'm gone. Living without parents will be tough but he still has a long road ahead of him. I'll pray that he'll find his happiness like his parents. The reason why I didn't choose myself or my wife is because by this point of our lives, I'm sure that we already enjoyed the ups and downs in life.

I'm aware that this a bit too sentimental since the forums have a lot threads like boobs, traps, lolis, moe, boobs, etc. Some sort of serious discussion might be a good change of pace. Or you guys might raise pitchforks and chase me out of town

    Edit: I CAN'T MAKE A POLL. IT'S SO HARD.
Edit: I did it. Now praise me.

Ahhh, a wonderful place for me to dump some of my stories. Thank you for starting such an awesome topic, Kuro.   Anyways, culture. Since I grew up in like, 3 different continents, I tend to have a lot of an internal struggle with culture. What culture do I represent? Which can I say is really "my" culture? Can you have multiple cultures at once? Things I doubt many get the privilege... Or shall I say curse of questioning.   I'll put my tale in spoilers, since I know already a decent amount of people have heard it before:-

Because I'm a traveler since birth (no seriously, I was born while we were in the middle of driving to an airport. Pretty hardcore traveling m8), I find it hard to identify with only one single culture, so I'll talk about the different ones I've met throughout my experiences:-

The British are pretty open minded people. Despite being like the only Muslim in the schools I went to, some which were even Catholic, I never felt that others were judging me because of my faith. I did have a horrible personality back then though, so I had a lot of reasons for people to hate me . And Scottish aren't dumb, their accent is annoying as F though. Sudanese are considered to be the nicest Arabs out there, at least to other Arabs. If you're South Sudanese however, I'm afraid you won't find much love. As for white people, just be sure to laugh at all the jokes they crack, which isn't hard considering their English. Ah, and now it's time to talk about Saudis. Where do I even start? Saudis are rich as you can get. They can also be pretty kind, so if a Saudi ever invites you to eat at any time, be it 1 AM, be sure to go as you'll probably get some pretty classy food I like how I'm talking about people as if they're objects... Thing is, the coolest places here are all religious, so you'd have to be a Muslim to even visit most of them
