Well nobody probably noticed, but I have not been posting for pretty much the entire year.
I did lurk around the site though.
As for why, well it has been a pretty hectic year.
In the last quarter of my third study year my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer and that really took up most of my time last summer, together with assuring I did not flunk anything.
Well afterwards during summer vacation I was basically in charge of the household, as my mother just had her surgery and was starting on chemotherapy.
She did not react well to it and got herself a urine way infection and spend the next two weeks in the hospital.
After the summer vacation I was busy again with school this time for my final year and having to deal with my minor, as well as a lot of stress at home.

After the second term I had to start on my internship and on my bachelors thesis, which basically comes down to a full work week.
My mother was still recovering at that point and I did not get along with my supervisor, which did not help with all the stress.
 
Somehow or another I still managed to succeed and get my bachelor, still haven't quite figured out how I managed to do it.
So yeah I managed to get my bacherlor in chemistry.
 
 
Only thing left now is to decide what to do afterwards.
Still have not quite figured out what to do next.
 
I am torn between finding a job and going for a master in chemistry.
I just cant seem to make my mind up about it, working sounds like a good decision but I wont be earning as much as I would with a masters degree.
On the other hand if I go for my masters degree, I will have to start living on my own (no problem there), but I will also have to pay for that all.
Which will mean I have to start borrowing, and that will probably amount to 30.000- 40.000 euro which to me is quite the sum.
I just cant seem to figure out what the right decision is.
(Note it was not my parents paying for everything, were I come from you get studiefincanciering for 4 years or the length of your study which covers most of the costs minus any material needs.)

BBH was successful but this is more due to the fact that the translations for both 5D and VI have been complete for a good year now when they were just fan translation projects, and the translators behind them have been hired to work for MangaGamer already. So releasing them is "easy," relatively speaking. And it makes sense to release them together since 5D is a smaller and by all accounts worse game than VI, so they're basically selling VI with 5D tacked on.

& like i said ~35bucks for both, so i hope lots of people will actually buy them instead of going the easy way.

I would not put money on that actually being announced at Otakon. It will most probably be announced abruptly with no fanfare in the middle of some random week, and not anywhere interesting like an actual convention.

I watched that Alliance VS EG turn around live.... I can't contain my hype wow. What an epic game.

To be fair Na'Vi is looking pretty good. They won Starladder and looked really strong. But yes Starladder isn't TI6.
PA is situational. She is dependent on her 50% evasion and at the moment they don't favor that many right clickers so she is shredded to pieces by magical damage and a less than desirable weak laning stage. I know it works but it isn't reliable sadly. I am a PA picker too and I love the current deso builds. 1k dagger crits <3

The difference between Sekai and MG is that MG want to release that 18+ title and does so. If they have any delay they are actually communicating with the fanbase. In Sekas case we seriously don't know anything and we have to seriously spam Dovac's Twitter or the Kickstarter sites for any answers and he responds in a rather unprofessional way "maybe" most of the time. We are still waiting for the Grisaia 18+ releases for example. 
This is just a huge mess and people wanting to pay for the adult releases doesn't think Sekai is trustworthy enough to sell the 18+ titles, heck I am one of them and I don't trust them after countless of messy Kickstarters and vague answers. And as someone said earlier here. Their current selection is rather pathetic compared to the rivals. I think Sekai doesn't want to do it but because such a large part of the market demands it they are torn apart in their own belief and the customer's belief. 
I would gladly pay for it and since I got a job I am paying for most of my titles to "support the market" as Dovac himself said. He doesn't impress and me buying stuff from Sekai when he bashes the whole community is not improving Sekai's chances. I have supported and bought some of the titles. The problem is that their selection isn't that appealing to me at the moment.
But I still understand Dovac's frustration and whenever we have the option to pay for the content which is lacking from the original release someone shouldn't offer that patch for free. Pirating is bad when you can pay for the game and it is available. I know it is a pathetic thing to say but I have Rooke's view on pirating here. I have done it before and I am still doing it to some small extent when I am unsure if I would like the game and the reviews are intriguing but not convincing. But who knows how many crappy titles I have bought from MG as compensation for all these years without paying for the crappy titles. Yes I have payed for games which is just collecting dust because I have played it before on a pirated version. 
If people had this view pirating wouldn't be a bad thing per se. But that's something for another day and topic. Maybe a little too much ranting and not exactly on point.

As Sanah said don't go there mate, you're a little ignorant. And you have no clue how many old 'big-names' left due to Fuwa's change in direction.
Don't worry though there's good news - my stance has never changed. If you have the money, buy the game.

From personal experience buying cloth from Japan is that you know your exact sizes in centimeters and then you look around after something similar. It is different depending on what manufacturer and company you are buying from too. A Totoro shirt could be different depending on who produced it. But overall it was decent sizing compared to Europe (Sweden). if you are medium a large was good in my case and I haven't had any problems ordering a medium even though it was a bit tight.  
So my suggestion would be order one size larger than what you wear today. But I can't answer what the US standard is sadly.

Option 9 because it looks better. Compare option 9 and 11 and it looks disgusting to watch the 100% save banner instead of seeing the summary and developer information. But that's my two cents on it.

It is unique. Also, episode 15 just did a super weird turn. Not a plot twist, or that sort of surprise. Rather, something that we all thought to be background noise has suddenly come into full glory, slapped us on the face hard, peed on us, and then mind-fucked us. It feels as if the anime suddenly became another one, the focus of the arc radically changing, the few episodes we had seen and its core topic suddenly feeling very silly and non-important.
If I had to compare it to smth you might know about, it's like when in One Piece...
It's like when Lost was still in TV, and after smth super important happened, people would be super shocked about it and theorise/discuss it until the next episode came in.
 
Btw, you might be making a mistake in waiting to watch Re:Zero when it's completed. In 99% of series it doesn't matter at all. But, lately, I feel that the doubts and theories you make in your head are part of the tension and excitement of the series. Waiting for when you can just watch everything might kill that whole aspect.

Posted a lot of suggestions and thoughts in the survey you created. But overall great job Tay and Nayleen (if we got someone in the shadows send our regards). The overall impression is great. A weird satisfaction seeing the new site I can't explain.

About your education. If you feel like continue your study and you are motivated enough to complete the last push do it. But if you need a break I suggest taking it and finding a job. You can always return to educate yourself later on when you have saved up some money. From personal opinion don't try to force anything if you don't feel like studying.

It all depends on the title and what's it about. A moege with no interaction or development shouldn't be 50 hours long. That's just painful. But a more interesting story with some suspense, thriller or an actual development could be that long. As long its well written and not "horrible". I am a huge fan of Rance too. Sengoku Rance was a game I can easily plow 50 hours on without achieving anything. Euphoria is an good example too. Where the story was interesting and it was always something new that occurred. Euphoria wasn't 50 hours long though.
A SoL moege is pointless and it is enough with a couple of hours maximum. Don't let these moege fanatics convince you.

Just break down and play the Total War strategy game series, lol.

Glad to see you around LiquidShu! We both celebrate 2 years here. Mine was 5th of May but I haven't come around making a post like this. Still thinking about what I want to write. Take care and good luck on your struggles.

That's because I am perfect. I don't make a fool of myself in Skype as some other peoples.

It's been two years since I first read Katawa Shoujo and joined Fuwanovel, and holy fuck does it feel like time flies. I remember posting my introduction thread, not really sure what to expect and honestly kinda nervous for whatever reason. Looking back at that thread I remember I would get so excited every time someone posted a comment  A lot of the members are still on Fuwanovel as well Maef, Asonn, Nosebleed, Dim, Nohman, Monmon, Rose, Flutterz, Emi, Funy, and shcboomer and others all posted and welcomed me to the community which was just really awesome. Asonn would later make the signature I use everywhere to this day, which I am super grateful for. Monmon and I were pretty close friends for a while there. I would stay up super late to message him and talk about anything really, it was just fun. Unfortunately I haven't kept in touch with him lately Maef introduced me to Go, which has become one of my main hobbies right now. Then everyone else I have always wanted to really get to know and participate in more conversations with, but that didn't happen too often. Hopefully this year I can finally change that (though I suppose I would actually need to post more often ).
There's a lot I want to say but I can't really put it into words. That statement applies to both how I feel now and how I have felt many times in the past on this site. I would always want to write an in-depth summary of my thoughts on VN's or anime or anything else but I've always had trouble. It seemed Rooke, Nosebleed, Rose, Sanah, and others could just do it and I was always so excited about whatever I had to say that's all I could think about  Not to say this is a bad thing, on the contrary, I still look up to a lot of members on this site. At times it even made me not want to post since it would just be a bunch of mumbo jumbo hype. For awhile now I've wanted to improve on this but never took the initiative to do so, which is something I really want to change about myself for sure. Just these past four months I've lost 42 pounds! I've been pushing myself and pushing myself in regards to my health and I don't see why I can't when it comes to being able to better express myself now either. 
I really love this site and community. There was one time when Tay messaged me last year, just something really simple. I was having a rough time and he messages me saying "Hope you're taking care of yourself. You've got lots of friends 'round here, so don't be afraid to speak up if we can help." and man that was just awesome, it even kinda makes me tear up now. Even when I didn't post a lot, kinda like right now, Fuwanovel has always been a part of my day one way or another. It's even been my homepage for the last two years. I really love it and I've tried to put the best quality me out there but that didn't happen very often, but that means I'm just being myself I guess. I've been hypocritical, on the fence, excited as all hell, and sometimes afraid to speak my mind since I have a habit of changing it more often than not, but that's just what I do. 
I'm sure I can type up more but I'll be sticking around for awhile longer, so I have time to throw out more thoughts as I go  The last part of this is just going to be an AMA since I have never done one before. If anyone feels like asking a question go for it~ If not oh well
