Eeerrr... the original name of this VN is ゾンビのあふれた世界で俺だけが襲われない that literally means "I am the only one who is not attacked in the world filled with zombies." Anyway, I somewhat enjoyed the first one, it was okayish, but the second one is quite boring so far. Like Walking Dead after they settle up in the prison, it's more about the character's relationship and less about the zombies... (Might change, I was half way through but I stalled it) But you couldn't be more right on this one. If you dropped it after Kurose's scene, you did yourself a favor. He's even worse after that.

Amaterasu's one: readable but way too literal, a lot of jokes were completely ruined and it's full of translator notes that "helps" you understand what the hell they were trying to say. GH one: readable but he decided to make every single sentence twice as long for absolutely no reason, he probably rewrote half the script to sound more "profound" in English Moenovel's one: unreadable, nothing makes sense, looks almost like a machine translation

Well, after they picked Sweet Pool, we could see that coming eventually. They could at least try to work with DMMD and TnC console/smartphone versions of the story so we actually see something new in the west, providing that the patch for those games are around for a while. Eh, but DMMD is popular enough for it to sell a lot either way.

What ruins characters for me is when they never grow beyond their only trait (like a tsundere that being a tsundere is her entire personality). What ruins the plot I think it's fake black and white morality. The heroes does a lot of questionable things and no one bats an eye. Worse yet, everyone sides with them like they were pure untainted saints. Meanwhile, the villains are treated as scum of the earth that always have bad intentions and then they give us a flashback just to show us they were always soooooo evil, mwahahaha! It's not thaaaaaat common a thing, but when this does happens it pisses me off.

I loooooove the Grand Blue manga, so I'll be watching that hoping they don't ruin it. Considering the amount of absurdity of the first three chapters, I'll probably need two episodes to judge it. Fingers crossed.

I saw that the otomege company Otomate is interested in making Switch VNs, so maybe that'll be the push a needed to buy one! My pretty boys now on a bigger screeeeeen! Hey, nice review! I got this one on GOG recently, good to know what to expect of it! A shame about the characters, but the gameplay seems like something I would enjoy.

For whatever reason, meme/wtf bad endings are the ones that I most easily remember But since we're talking about actual good ending/routes, these are the most impactful to me: F/SN: UBW is my favorite route by far, but ending gotta hand the prize to Sparks Liner High. It's one of the best moments in the VN and in my head it's the canon ending for HF and no one will ever convince me otherwise (I know every ending is canon, but eh); Tokyo Alice: It was so fun, until the game threw a feels brick in my face. Daaaaaamn. Didn't felt like typical nakige forced drama, so I loved it; Saya no Uta: Hospital one was very memorable and I liked Kouji's one a lot; Shingakkou: (what a surprise) Neil's route is amazing, but August's ending was the closest I got to cry (not only on the inside) because of a VN, it was incredibly beautiful and emotional. Honorable mention: Cross Channel. I was ready to give it a low score, then the ending came. I forgot most of CC by now, but I still remember that ending quite well.

When you say not responding, do you mean the "stopped responding" crash or just stuck in the same screen? I had a similar problem with older Nitroplus games and here's some things I did to fix then: 1) installing some windows packs that contains direct x 8 dlls 2) installing Visual Studio C++ around 2013 package for 32 or/and 64 bits 3) change the priority of the running process in the task manager 4) go back to a previous windows build, I never managed to fix Togainu no Chi (2005) any other way

The last time we saw them, they were staring the cursed gif looping at the monitor at classroom 2-B. If they were still staring at it, two weeks later, by now they would have nor eyes nor brains nor anything, as every cell of their body would be as pulverized as an unlucky member of the Avengers. Instead, they got the hell out of the room and decided to have a picnic in the corridor. It was enough time for them to max out all Social Links between themselves, while doing aaaaaaaall the things that good close male friends do together, like drink beer, have sex with each other, tell inside jokes, karaoke, a blood pact and read the h-scenes of euphoria. Actually, scratch that, Ranzo was the only one singing. They started with Bleeding Eyes by Masterplan, but after seeing Rinne's enema h-scene, they're now stuck with a looping Suicide Song by Hatsune Miku. "Maaaaan, that was good! I can't really add much since you said pretty much everything about the good points of this VN: Short but nice, simple and perfect for relaxing, Maris is cute and her reactions are totally worth of loading previous saves to get all shells. I gave it a 7 as well.
