Dear God that sounds so embarrassing! I hope I don't have a similar experience in the future. I always lock my bedroom door, so the chances of sometime walking in on me are pretty slim thankfully.

My first VN (that I'm still currently reading) is If My Heart Had Wings, and boy let me tell you, Hana... What a first VN to start, it's so interesting! It genuinely got me very interested in reading even the technical explanations on what a glider is and how it works with the aerodynamics etc. All the characters were interesting and the story was a nice light-hearted slice of life romance. It's definitely made me a fan of reading VN's and I only wish they were more widely available in the West. Which is another reason why I really love this community.

I'm new to VN's also, and I'd like to recommend If My Heart Had Wings, you can purchase it on Steam and then add the fan-restoration patch to it. I'm currently doing the last two routes out of a possible 5 (if I'm remembering correctly) and I have to say, it's such a beautiful game with interesting characters, good quality images and voice acting in Japanese. It's about a group of students who want to fly together in the sky. It even informs you with interesting facts about flying a glider and aerodynamics. It really got me interested, as someone who I'd also starting out in reading VN's, I definitely recommend this game.

Thanks a lot for putting in the time and effort into writing this list. As someone who is new to VN's, this is very helpful to me. Once I'm done with my current VN's I'm definitely going to make a start on this list.

I completely agree, well said. I'd probably give Tenso a chance since plenty of people have recommended them. But I'd definitely prefer Zeno's way if he can recommend his reshipper for the identity issue.

Hi everyone! So being new to VN's, I (regrettably) haven't actually finished a VN 100% with all routes yet, but I've almost done it with If My Heart Had Wings (IMHHW) with the FTL Restoration Patch. This one's going to be the first VN I've fully completed. The first VN I ever read was Katawa Shoujo, but this was many years ago and I only completed Hanako's route because I was too satisfied with her to play it again for a while. I do plan to finish all the other routes for that one too though at some point in the future. But for now I've got my eyes on The Fruit of Grisaia after I complete IMHHW. So technically even though I haven't completed any of them yet, I have actually played a total of two VN's to this date. I'm very curious to see how many VN's people have played who have been reading for years! (If you can be bothered to try and count and remember them all, aha!)

Truthfully? Tenso requires you to provide them with an image of your ID in order to use their reshipping services? While I'm no where near as paranoid about revealing my real identity like some of my close friends, I still prefer to keep my personal information to myself and only for the utmost important legal things; hearing about that is actually scaring me off if I'm honest. I'm sure they provide a good service as others have mentioned earlier, but I'm not too sure whether I'm personally comfortable with handing out that kind of private information like that. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about your experience with this other supplier and appreciate it.
