How did you feel about multiple protagonists in Ever17? I haven't played Sorcery Jokers, but this sounds more up that alley than something like SubaHibi.

It actually is mentioned on the game's Nutaku page. So it make less than zero sense to remove the CGs.

Looking at the page for the game, there's a "Trap" (really hate that term and all it implies) tag included on it. Which means it makes even less sense to cut the CGs, since players have foreknowledge of the content.

Why would Nutaku censor the gay route? They don't have the excuse of "well, it might violate the law" in this case. It's just plain homophobia.

I think he's looking for translated games. (But if it ever does get translated, AsuKimi has my recommendation too.)

I'd argue that YumeHaven is worse than MoeNovel, because their release of Shuffle resulted in the removal from the market of an already existent 18+ English version.

Some of the vocabulary and sentence structure used in the SP version's narration seems slightly too formal to be from student's perspective, but it's still miles better than the fan tl. I'm impressed by the dialogue writing.

Some VN are just like that. I guess the idea is that the player mainly cares about the female characters, and keeping the cast small saves money.

The download edition of Konnyaku is rated 12+. Chocolat and Parfait also have hardcopy "Regular" editions which are all-ages.

How much H is there in this VN? The price difference between the Steam and Denpa versions is a staggering $20!!! That seems like a ridiculous amount to pay just for a couple of H scenes.

If you don't mind the lack of female characters or romantic plot, 80 Days might interest you. Then there's always Narcissu, which is about two terminally ill patients who escape from the hospital and go on a roadtrip. And the fault series of kinetic novels. Keep an eye out in the future for Sona-Nyl of the Violet Shadows.

It's a very good VN. And, yes, you should wait for the official release, both because the fan translation was poor and because fan translations shouldn't be used once a game is licensed.
