First of all, am I breaking the rule for started unreleased translated VN here? If so I apologize, but you know, since here is more lively than VNDB, I figure it's better if I tried to start a VN discussion here. Anyway, the VN is SakuSaku, or if you prefer full name is Koi ga Saku Koro Sakura Doki. The premise is, may I said a word, is a little ridiculous, but we've never had bounty place on MC before, so guess it's a little interesting? From the visual aspect I must admit it was very refreshing and very good, so much that it earned many 10 on VNDB at the first time it was published

http://prefundia.com/projects/view/root-double-before-crime-after-days-xtend-edition-heading-west/7236/ TL;DR: They're asking for $120,000. Estimated delivery date is March 2016. The stretch goals are just for a fanbook and drama CDs. Interestingly, apparently Sekai Project is getting none of this money, according to the funding breakdown? All of the funds are going to Regista, Yeti, and Lemnisca. Maybe this will convince some of the SP haters to chip in? Lemnisca has proven themselves with I/O. That is a ridiculously complicated VN with complex narration and dialogue, and they trans

PQube will publish Root Letter, Kadokawa Games’ PlayStation 4 and PS Vita mystery visual novel, in North America and Europe in 2016, the publisher announced. Root Letter is a youth mystery adventure and human drama set in Shimane Prefecture. In it, the player will engage an adventure to solve the mystery of Fumino Aya, a pen pal friend from high school who disappeared after leaving a mysterious letter. A letter delivered 15 years later. Root Letter will launch in Japan on June 16. Kadokawa Games announced earlier today that a demo willl also be made available in Japan on that date.

Finally a short update on Corpse Party 2 Chapter 2 Long story short, the progress on chapter 2 is moving slowly so please stay tuned. We don't need to be angry because if you're a fan of the original Corpse Party series, you know that this long wait is just normal thing. It also took them a couple of years to release a new chapter in the original game. Source: Twitter

She works for Sekai Project so we can assume that this info is 100% true. Now the only question left is which panel he will attend. My bet goes to mangagamer.

I've been working on a visual novel where you can play a full space game adventure similar to "escape velocity nova" or star control 3, but enjoy all the best of a visual novel. Choices that matter, romance, hand drawn character and background art. Demo: *Includes the entire first chapter http://www.indiedb.com/games/omni-link-space-visual-novel-action-rpg/downloads/omni-link-demo-space-visual-novel-action-rpg The non-spoiler version of the story is this: You start the game as a man of little consequence. The first chapter: "A Hero Will Rise" defines exactly w

So a youtuber that I sometimes watch (The Animeman) uploaded a video talking about why visual novels have been getting more and more popular over these past few years, in the past there were nearly no vns on Steam or other online stores and such, so why is it that they've been experiencing such a boost in popularity?. This is the video in question: I watched it and thought about sharing it with everyone here on Fuwa to see what you think about it.

http://mangagamer.org/gahkthun/ Woot! I thought for sure that this would slip into 2016, but MangaGamer is managing to squeeze it in just before the year's end, getting it out there December 23rd! For those who don't know, this is the latest entry in Liarsoft's acclaimed Steampunk franchise, which also contains the popular fan translated titles Sekien no Inganock and Shikkoku no Sharnoth. They're a unique setting in VNs. Some of the games are set in fictional locations within the world, but some like Gahkthun, are set in early 20th century Europe, fusing together steampunk, fantasy, and scienc

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-04-01/rewrite-anime-2nd-promo-additional-staff-unveiled/.100560 Sad because will have an originnal development, but will have some parts from the VN too, so i have expected this, because the game routes are too individual and too much larger for an anime. The good point: The Romeo Tanaka ( Rewrite creator) will create this originnal development so... atleast will be an logic history for rewrite. The bad: This is probably an signnal for a 12 episodes anime, atleast in imagination, but if i give a try will be an

https://twitter.com/sfgp0408 Yeah, this is some of the weirder VN news of late. Front Wing is getting into the third party localization game, it seems. Sharin no Kuni getting an official release was a bit of an open secret, pretty much everyone knew about it to some extent. But everyone expected the one to bring it to us to be Sekai Project. Frontwing is planning a kickstarter, it seems. Much to some people's befuddlement. Maybe they'll actually bother retranslating it? Moogy, the old translation's editor, was saying that it needed one before getting officially released, so who knows

So yesterday Denpasoft made a news post on their site saying that they too will be closing their steam key sales, though unlike Mangagamer it seems they will be disabling all the steam keys that were apperantly stolen. Here is a copy paste of the news post. "Complementary Steam keys removed from titles We have to remove Steam keys from titles that had Steam key support. Roughly $30,000 worth of keys were stolen from us and we will be contacting Valve to disable the keys that were fraudulently obtained. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but we must protect our relations

MG blog post: http://blog.mangagamer.org/2016/02/15/pay-processor-issues/ tl;dr Because of people making fraudulent purchases in order to obtain Steam Keys and re-sell them, MangaGamer has been forced to remove their Steam Key offers for the foreseeable future until a better solution comes. It really sucks that people pull this kind of shit off. On top of that, because of the currently existing chargeback policies, whoever is returning the money is always on the losing end no matter what they do. I totally understand and agree with MG's move here and I even sympathize with the

Heey guys I'm still somewhat new to all this VN and such, I have read them for some years, but sadly my japanese is nonexistent. I also do not know all that many sites to get info about VN and translation progress. I was hoping somebody knew something about the Grisaia series? The first one was from what I know fantranslated and the second was announced to be translated aswell as the third one. From what I have found, this was already back in 2013, so I would like to know if there is any progress on the matter? Any estimate of how long before a english patch for, in my case, the secon

https://vnrw.wordpress.com/2016/01/22/most-desired-visual-novel-translation/ So, I feel like this tournament is worthwhile to vote for because of this particular paragraph : " I picked 46 most highly regarded titles that I could think of (mostly with the help of erogamescape) that have yet to receive a translation. To make matters more interesting, both my secret project, and the game that I might be working on next ended up on this list, so we can see how those fare (maybe I can get away with more hints through this xD). Anyway, I wouldn’t mind translating most of these games,

https://vndb.org/v18797 I want to talk about Blood Code a VN with Datng Sim element so you can buy throught Steam, since I have just buy the game myself. I just want to say it's very amazing game with unigue story and characther. Gameplay in the game are very amazing and I like how we can train the magic power. And I like mystery in the game to. So i have couple of question for there. 1. have you buy Blood Code? 2. What do you like about Blood Code? 3. What do you dislike about Blood Code? 4. Who it's your favorite characther? 5. Which characther do you dislike? 6. Do you have any feedback a
