Pretty much what he said. It's not voiced, short, and its main focus is on the H content, so the translation shouldn't be that inaccurate to the original's.

Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode and as administrator? I remember having the problem too, but don't remember what I exactly did to make it go away. I looked around a bit and found this "My Sweet Roomies!". This is the "improved" English version of "Tadaima! Uchi Kanjo~". It seems to lack the voices and bgm of the original. For example: Original English Version Couldn't find the artist though.
