  1. Welcome and nice to meet you too. Hope you could enjoy your stay here. Of course in here we'll accepted any contribution from the member. PS - Looks like I'll getting use to said cliche word to newcomer here lol.
  2. Visual Novel Translation Status (03/26/2016) Since Tay, Decay, and Zakamutt always submit their thought in every week at VN Translation Update, might as well try to write my thought here. The title format would be the image header of VNTS derivative word and Review, and since this week header image was Maitetsu girl train, so I'll use Densha Collection for the title (Densha mean train in Japan) and collection, well you should knew if you watch Kancolle). Note that maybe I'll deliver my though for VNTS late. And below was my review for VNTS this week. For this week, once again the announcement at Saturday surely was underwhelming. Especially from Mangagamer which I'd already wrote my very long post about speculation for Mangagamer, which from 10 result of vote I guess Type-Moon as their future partner, oh well. But this time Sekai surprised us with Maitetsu and Tokeijikake announcement. I'll try to type my though here later but first I'll try to round up the translation progress. For all of the update, what I'd interested was only Astral Air and Karakara. As for Astral Air, good work for stable progress, but if each week we had update only at 0.4% we'll probably had 100% of Astral Air translated at 2017 (Hopefully not). For Karakara, I could not comment much other than good work for reaching 46.42% translation progress. Now for Mangagamer announcement, we had 4. The announcement were Free Friend hardcopy, Bokuten Steam version, Yurirei drama CD, and Imopara 2. For Free Friend hardcopy, no comment other than as long as people had necessary device like DVD RW and Free Friend download edition, they could made the hardcopy easily (Then again, maybe there was some fan who like to collect the box from every eroge hardcopy). For Bokuten, since according to Tyrosyn the H-Scene was important for character development, maybe Overdrive will try to substitute H-Scenes with porn free scene (I think they could made it just had black screen when in H-Scene or had the characters sleep and taking about their problem). Normally this VN was the one I'd looking forward the most, but Mangagamer already translating it and at this moment the progress was at 77%, so it's still a while. About drama CD, I knew GundamAce had translated Ever17 Drama CD at Animesuki forum. Here's the link for Drama CD Translation (Beware spoiler from Ever17 though). Although with this kind of arrangement, I'd wonder if Mangagamer will release it in Japan voice with translated script or either will hire local VA and had them voicing drama CD. First option will save cost, but to enjoy Drama CD required good listening and always need to read the script, while second option was more expensive because Mangagamer need to pay both VA and translator, but it'll allow us to understand Drama CD easily. Either way, it'll be interesting that Mangagamer will release their first Drama CD and hopefully it'll satisfied Yurirei fan, although Decay said he was satisfied enough. Imopara 2, I think my comment was Momoka sprite copied Aya sprite (Down to seiyuu) from first Imopara. Other than that I think it'll be standard nukige involving incest between cousins and imouto, because the cousins was born from different mother, and the mothers actually was Imopara 1 heroines (I mean back in Imopara 1 MC was involved in incest with his 5 imouto). And don't ask me why all imouto and cousins in this series attracted to MC other than the reason MC was nice guy. For Sekai, they announce Taiwan VN, South Korea VN, Sakura Spirit Ecchi Manga adaptation, Indonesia VN, Maitetsu, and Tokeijikake. For Taiwan, I think it was more eden like since it was said that the world will be destroyed because of the star. South Korea VN was more like dark love story involving NTR, I think. For Indonesian VN, well it's leaning toward dating sim and the premise was like fighting alien with you as the commander of 5 girls. The reaction from Indonesian anime community as expected quite positive. Here's the news at Jurnal Otaku Indonesia, and if some Indonesian user or lurker read that, you'll understand the news (If some of non Indonesian curious, you could just copy and paste the word to Google Translate). But the summary from the news and the comment the reaction was quite positive. For more info about Indonesian VN company, here's the website. As for Sakura Spirit Manga, no comment. And here I'll try my best to comment 2 big announcement from Sekai. Maitetsu, what I saw it was already gather some controversy regarding censorship and loli thing. Although my interest was of course not those 2 unrelated thing, instead it was more to release date and the seiyuu as usual, beside there should be enough heat if we talk about censorship and loli. The release date actually was very new, in face one day before announcement or in America the night when this VN released. In other word it was the fastest translation news delivered (Not counting Nekopara since it was planned to be released in English at the same time for Japanese release), only few hours after released in original language. As for the seiyuu they got Kawashima Rino and Kadowaki Mai there. We obviously didn't need to doubt Kawashima experience, and Kadowaki also quite famous for Fate fan as Ilya. Another interesing note that we also had our MC voiced here. Well, let's see it later. Tokeijikake, the opening was quite good. I'd knew that this game was translated since Shinikiss translation finished. But since this is first part of trilogy, not interested because I'd heard that the first part end with cliffhanger. Well, hopefully Sekai could also announce and release part 2 and part 3 quickly (Although I knew it's like hoping that Yandere translation translating Aiyoku no Eustia though ie impossible since the leader already too busy at work). Oh, for the seiyuu they got Kawashima Rino here too and also another name to note was Ogura Yui (Himiko from Eiyuu Senki, Eika from Ikikoi) and Moka Choko (Ageha from Konosora, Otome from Da Capo 2). Sekai promised this game will be released at 2016. I think that's all I could comment from Sekai announcement. And one last note, could we got confirmation from Sekai if Root Double will be released at March or not. If not it's okay then, although what I understand that the flame will be going to Sekai, and many people who waiting for translated Root Double will said profanity. Well, at least we had one certain release came from Mangagamer (Tokyo Babel). For JAST, we still wait when they'll announce release date for Seinarukana. I think that's all of my review of VNTL progress. And sorry for my bad English here.
  3. Hello, this is my first blog post. For the title, well let's just said I kinda take a like to Pretty Cure like my introduction mentioned. For the content, it'll still had some connection with Visual Novel (Well, this is Fuwanovel duh), but if I'd talked about VN here, don't be confused if I sometimes didn't use usual role in any VN, because I'd think I'll use this blog to introduce VN to Precure Live Journal member (It's the name of Precure community). As for activity, maybe I'll not always update this blog, but I'll try my best to update it. Hopefully my blog post will be useful in future.
  4. Okay, I think the problem is the people who worry about action scene was definitely didn't play the demo. Because the demo should give you how Tokyo Babel will be. So, in order to allow all people see the fighting scene, how about the sample of fighting scene from propeller official channel. This is the first fighting scene and if you download the demo you'd definitely know which part (Actually propeller also had fighting scene video, but it contained some spoiler so I couldn't post it here). Well, if after seeing the fighting scene and the people still scare to play this game, too bad. And I apologize if my thought about conjueror review scare some people here to play this VN.
  5. To OP answer, well he stopped because he admit that he got the girlfriend and he was to embarassed to had anime/VN hobby, so he decided to retire (If it's true that he had girlfriend, then he really need to learn from ittaku a lot. 46 years old, had wife and children, and still putting some effort for ToHeart 2 translation project). Although actually it's quite normal case, but what made people mad was he only release Elina patch while he promised that he would release all translated route (The progress show that all routes other than Miu already translated), and so people of course feel trolled there. For other translation project, I'd suggest that people should be seriously translating this instead half serious like Aokana 2nd group translation effort (By serious I mean also translating Rio and Azusa route). There was a case in the past when moogy claimed that he'll release his DraKoi patch when Ixrec announce that it'll his next project. Maybe if some group did that, Insem will finally be serious for translating it? Just my thoughts here. About the game itself, it'll be interesting to have a discussion here of course. But with 3 other routes untranslated, it's still not the time yet. Only time will tell if his promise on April 1st will be true or not. If not, oh well, might as well hoping Miu MT project was finally serious to translating other 2 routes and do manual translation for Miu, since MT was full of controversy and divisive. I think that's all for now, and sorry if my writing was too blunt there.
  6. Happy birthday, @CryingWestern and thanks for extracting data from any visual novel (Also for helping Majikoi translation). Also, its very late (Better late than never though), but happy very belated birthday, @ittaku and thanks for your 8 years effort for translating ToHeart 2 and continuing it until now. I'll make sure next year I'll said this on time (But you're very old here though. I mean 46 years old, really (Not that anything wrong with that though, just surprise a little bit)).
  7. @LiquidShu Maybe I should sugatcoat my word about romance in my earlier post. Anyway, I think it's only Conjueror opinion though, so of course it may be different for each people. About recommendation, I'd wrote it based on Conjueror review alone, but I'd play the demo and I think it's true that Tokyo Babel will have many action scene (About 2 and half (Because the 3rd fight was cut in the middle) fights just from the demo). One more thing, I think it's not 50% of CG but I'd said 50% of the content was action scene (Which not neccessarily CG of course), and if you like Ayakashibito writing, maybe you'll enjoy Tokyo Babel writing because the writer were same people. Well, in the end the decision to play it or not was up to you anyway.
  8. Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay here. As for your VN project, good luck and hope you could finish your future project. For VN recommendation, since Deep Blue recommendation was still quite long, how about I recommended a shorter one, True Remembrance if you new to VN? Hope you like it.
  9. Well, this maybe the cliche line that I'll said it here, but welcome to the forum. As for your English, it's not too bad at least compared to mine lol. Anyway, if you want to ask help or just share something in regard of VN here, go ahead and hope you enjoy your stay here.
  10. Another bump here, and this bump was to add another review of this game from none other than the translator himself, Conjueror. Here's his review. His score was good though, at 4 (Not 4/10 like solidbatman Little Busters, but 4/5). It's quite interesting that Clephas prefer Tokyo Babel and Conjueror prefer Ayakashibito, but from Clephas VNDB score and Conjueror score I'd said that they think both Ayakashibito and Tokyo Babel was good. As for my take, I think I'd like to point that both of the review mentioned that there's some weak point in regard of romance, and also in regard of character development. In case you expected romance and character development in this game, I'd recommended to play game like Noble Works or Princess Evangile instead of this game. But if you like action, well look forward to this game, since Conjueror mentioned that 50% of Tokyo Babel was action scene. And speaking about weak in romance, funny enough that Conjueror and another reviewer here lamenting that there's no H-Scenes in Tokyo Babel that allow us to see how much the romance bloom between MC (Setsuna) and heroine. I think that's all I could write at this moment, and it's only 3 days before Tokyo Babel finally released by Mangagamer.
  11. Okay, since apparently my thread was failed, so I think the best choice here was to bump the thread like once a month (Periodically). And as for rule here, I think the OP here didn't state it in here yet, but let me said that all embedded video should be using spoiler for easier browse and so that other people didn't need to scroll for very long post. And by the way, there is no cap but keep in mind that you need to use spoiler for each video. Now for the first bump, how about I reposted some video that I posted in my thread earlier. 1. Monster Girl Quest BGM - Four Heavenly Knights Battle Theme (I knew this game had the story improved in 2nd game out of 3 game, and for the H-Scene let's just said that the drawing encourage us to winning in boss battle instead of losing because the scene was draw badly) 2. AIR OST - Natsukage (I'd like to hear it back when AIR was untranslated, and it was listed as one of Awesome Music for VN section at TV Trope) 3. Tokyo Babel Title Theme (Well from Clephas saying there is no bad propeller ost (Except Sougeki no Jaeger), so naturally it should be included here of course. And it's only 3 days left before Tokyo Babel release anyway) 4. Shinsei ni Shite Okasubekarazu - Anthem for Kingdom (Game opening and sang by Haruka Shimotsuki. I knew it was untranslated, but the opening sound very calming and recently I'd like to hear this) I think that's all for my reposting here. And since this thread original function was to posting your favorite OST, well just spam your favorite OST here, but don't forget the spoiler box here. And I'm apologize to some user who posted at my thread earlier. I think that's all for now.
  12. My opinion? Well, I think the seiyuu cast was still new in anime (By the way, I need to use JP Wiki + Google Translate combo to figure out who's the seiyuu, and turned out some of them was either new or got supporting role in some anime. If some of you know about this game seiyuu portfolio, you may elaborate further), although the graphic was quite good for doujin I admit. As for the opening, I think it's quite interesting that instead of using slide show like in some VN opening, it was use animation instead (But it's not as good as School Days OP animation though. Understandable of course, since this is supposed to be doujin game iirc). If you curious, here's the opening below. For the premise, looks like it'll be some sort of murder mystery mixed with supernatural thing. The problem is if some of you want to know how good it is, then my answer would be I don't know. Because until now the vote for this game at VNDB and the score was still 0, so once again this VN was still unknown of how good it is or even the spoiler itself and had few people who look forward to it, compared to other popular VN who at least had sizable people who look forward the release. Well, if some people want to review it here later good luck and looking forward to the review I'm suppose. But for my opinion the graphic and the long haired girl design was quite good. And special thanks to @Rooke for opening 'Magical Angry' thread here, and could you change the title for thread with 'Magical Angry Discussion' after March 31st. The reason should be obvious anyway, but if you didn't want to do it that's okay. Sorry for my bad English here.
  13. As for VN with good music, I think it's subjective. So, I didn't really know much. But I think Symphonic Rain will fulfill your wish, it had good vocal song and good story. Here's 2 example of vocal song from Symphonic Rain. Lycenne by Liselsia Cesarini (CV Fumiko Orisaka) Secret by Tortinita Fine (CV Mai Nakahara) Hope you enjoying Symphonic Rain if you choose to play that, and by the way it had some rhythmic gameplay there.
  14. Welcome back. You remind me when I made introduction thread with my post number at 41, while yours at 23 posts. As for usual word, hope you could had fun here and don't hesitate to asking something you had difficulty in playing VN or sharing anything about VN that you know.
  15. As for save file, it was like bigfatround0 and aristotll said, you could just use sagaoz. But, let me help you with the download link from sagaoz though. As for your request, I didn't know if you already 100% all of your requested game or not, but keep in mind that all save was complete with 100% CG. Oh, eden save file was not in sagaoz nor when I searched using Google, so good luck to replay it again I'm suppose. Rewrite Chaos Head Comyu Hoshizora no Memoria Hope it'll help OP here.
  16. Nice avatar there Score - 8/10 The reason - For the moving eye I think it show us that the avatar was like to thinking and looking around before making decision
  17. You're welcome. As for Clephas opinion about Libra, here's his review at his blog below. And his score for Libra was at 8.3 in VNDB, so I think according to him Libra was quite good. Although once again taste for each people might be different though, so you may not enjoying Libra for example. Either way, as for me I'll try to play this translated (Only 8 months later). And last thing, glad if you like my feedback.
  18. One word to Facebook translation group - Attention Seeker (Oh wait, that's 2 words. Never mind then lol). I think translating in 5 language was simply will scratching disbelief for the group themselves, unless the group also contained 5 members from different countries with different language (Could the head of the group come here and said it here, to prove himself). Or if we want more joking, maybe what Deep Blue said in regard of language lol. Well, let's see at April 20th to see either the group managed to prove themselves for releasing patch or merely attention seeker for not releasing patch.
  19. @babiker I agree with your opinion in regard of numerical score, and I think numerical scoring for VN was kind of hard to use. But I also understand solidbatman opinion on Little Busters though (Although the score made it infamous anyway, but I think his opinion that he dislike sudden progress of Little Busters story without foreshadowing, and some section were drag on were understandable). If you ask my opinion, I think Key fans who posted at solidbatman forum was far more annoying at solidbatman Little Busters forum than solidbatman himself, although his reaction didn't help at all though (I was snapped back at his forum there iirc, let's not remember it anymore). Well, enough of my opinion about solidbatman Little Busters review, and as for matter of fact, I think Little Busters is simply divisive one, as likely as many popular work. On one side, we got people who willing to ignore the weakness in writing and another side will not ignore any weakness in writing like solidbatman. Just like any work, really. Well, good luck to solidbatman here, because if you want to read my review, it'll probably filled with seiyuu info, my word is usually in Engrish, and it'll be wordy since I'd usually confused with what I want to wrote in usual my long forum post, so I think I'm not qualified for review writer here. PS - Since recently solidbatman like to review short VN, guess long VN like Little Busters was not fit for his reading anymore (I understand though since some real life issue could take away enjoyment from read VN). Just my opinion here, okay.
  20. Well, congrats on 1000th post, @VirginSmasher. About your post number, I think my number was still need to be more going up more in order to reach 500, so guess I need to spam more lol. Anyway, once again congratulation to reach your 1000th post.
  21. About my outburst earlier, I'm sorry to any user here who look forward to BL zombie game. If they want the game to be success, so be it. Actually, I kinda want to said that since the moment I'd read that people wish Sekai failed for Root Double, while I'd looking forward to Root Double translation since 2012. I also understand that Sekai had some major controversy in fund raising too. My outburst was more like the answer for those who want Sekai to be failed in fundraising. Once again, I'm sorry to the user here who looking forward to zombie BL game. Oh, about 2 new announcement, well it was underwhelming for sure. I mean with first part of the trilogy and one original Indonesia VN, I think couldn't comment much other than Just Desert setting was not in Jakarta actually. Good luck for the release though. As for Tokeijikake, the OP for the first trilogy part was actually quite good though. Well, I think that's all I could write for. PS - Oh, if some of you here once again looking forward to BL zombie game, at this moment it's already reach 400 out of 11,500. So it's only 11,100 left in order to fulfill the release. Good luck I suppose, and at least Sekai learn from Root Double almost messy Kickstarter by starting at Indie Go Go, if we want to called Sekai learning from past mistake in fund raising I guess.
  22. About Just Desert VN, as Indonesian I also had like 'Huh?' as well. For more nitpicking, why must the only Indonesian people had also been half Japanese. Although once again I'm from Indonesian, I think there's still not much good VN from here. But I think they got some good talent here, and I speak about kopianget who design character in Huniepop (He's Indonesian by the way). Back to VN, I think even I'd just nitpicking about VN from Indonesia, maybe this will be good. The question is when Sekai release it though. As for zombie BL thing, my suggestion that Sekai should made the goal insane like US$ 200,000 or something like that instead of only US$ 11,500. If you want to know my reaction I didn't looking forward to it at all, and it could be first candidate to sacrificed if some of you want to see if Sekai failed to funded something lol. Another update from Sekai was Kanji no Owari thing, which may as well search it for yourself.
  23. Tokeijikake, eh. Well, looks like Kohaku announcement was their cooperation with Sekai. And actually Tokeijikake translation homepage was not showing progress for several month, also this is first part of 3 sequels, so not so much looking forward from very start of translation I think.
  24. Lolicon issues surely interesting I supposed, and with Maitetsu company who also developed Monobeno which also full of loli. I think it's safe to said that lolicon was controversial thing. Anyway, this announcement was maybe kinda underwhelming but I'll try to make tier list just like back at VNDB for this announcement. Good (See It Later) Maitetsu Slightly Interesting (Ooooookay) Still, I Miss Her (OKVN, or Original Korea Visual Novel) Companion Take your time Mangagamer (Not looking forward) Imouto Paradise 2 ??? (Didn't know much other than this is side product for VN) Yurirei Drama CD Free Friend Hard Copy Sakura Spirit Manga For tier good first, from VNDB list and Kawasumi VN, I think this VN had high production value, especially when Lose (The company behind it) provided different song for ED and sang by the seiyuu for each route (Or so my interpretation according to VNDB list, although it may common for recent VN though). Also, here we had seiyuu like Kadowaki Mai and Kawashima Rino voicing side character, and we knew how much those 2 experienced in voicing eroge, especially for Kawashima (As for Kadowaki, I'm sure some of Fate fan here recognize her voice as Ilya). The premise though to be honest was like moe train, just like moe battleship back at Kancolle. Also, since this game was just released in Japan recently, we still couldn't gauge how good the story were if we based that on review, so the solution was waiting for a release than play it by yourself and see if it's good or not. Shame that the discussion that had with this game was censored lolicon thing, oh well. Still, I Miss Her had slightly interesting art, the premise was apparently quite dark so maybe we'll had interesting dark drama in love that could end up like infamous School Days Bad End, which the anime was adapted that and spawn meme called Nice Boat. As for Companion, I think the premise was so alike eden, except the star (In here it's actually small planet) that caused apocalypse was at first by human in order to control overpopulation on Earth instead came from the space, but in the end the star was lost control and about to cause apocalypse to Earth. Still, I think those 2 companies was still new in VN making and I kinda wonder if fan reaction could be think that it'll be better than original. Well, looks like Solidbatman here looking forward to those 2 for the arts though, so at least those 2 VN already had someone who want to play it, which is nice of course. As for Imopara 2, anyone interested of how pink haired heroine from Imopara 1 could had the daughter with same hair, same personality, AND SAME SEIYUU (Yukimura Toa). Although I knew the reason was that the developer too lazy to made the pink haired heroine with different hairstyle though lol, but at least the developer here put much more effort to design other heroines hairstyle and their body I supposed. I mean at least they different from their mother. The premise ? In first Imopara, MC was had fun incest and screw all of the heroine which of course all of them were siblings (And how could the parents from Imopara 1 had the 5 daughters with different hair colour and 1 son is a mystery we'd never know, unless they also had incest lol). In here, apparently harem route was canon from Imopara and they managed to inbreed with MC from Imopara 1, and pink haired heroine from Imopara 1 had MC and pink haired heroine from Imopara 2. And the story was like the parents here was leaving MC, his little sisters, and his little cousins who born from the result of incest alone in the house. And since this is nukige, of course the people who left in the house involved in sex duh. I'd not had much interest in this I think as of now. For the rest, I just summed up my though below FreeFriend Hard Copy was unnecessary, unless someone who like to own every hard copy for the game they played Yurirei Drama CD was interesting, but I think Mangagamer probably will sell it with the translated script in the case. Actually, speaking about translating Drama CD, it had already done by GundamAce back in Animesuki forum with Ever17 Drama CD, so it's quite interesting to see official company first translate Drama CD I think Sakura Spirit Manga, well let's just said that it'll be at ecchi segment if there's effort to scan it and posted on any manga sharing site I think that's all of my thought for this morning announcement. Well quite a letdown after I tried to wake up at 9 am. Oh well, at least there's still 5 more events to speculate, and looks like Mangagamer will announce their new partner for next announcement. As for Sekai announcement at almost 3 hours later, I'll try to type my thought tomorrow if I had the chance. Oh, and happy early Easter by the way. Sorry for my bad English. PS - From Sekai, I'd actually far more looking forward of how much Root Double was ready before release it. Download Edition was fine, but oh well.
  25. Oh, another announcement from Mangagamer is Bokuten will got Steam version. Although I wonder how Overdrive cut the H-Scene for Steam though, and yes I'd knew that Overdrive also did cut H-Scenes for Kira Kira release for all age version. But as far as I knew, I think Overdrive sex scene not that good according to some review I'd read and only tackled on so maybe Bokuten was the same case. Maybe. And turned out my speculation and Decay speculation was totally wrong. Oh well, there's still 5 more announcement anyway to speculate, and be happy here if some of the user here did happen to be fan of Imouto Paradise. Although I'm not, and by the way they just reuse same model for pink haired character (But it's justified that the pink haired heroine in Imopara 2 was the daughter anyway lol). At least I predicted one right from Mangagamer riddle I suppose (About spirited thing and here we got Yurirei drama CD, which honestly unless Mangagamer willing to use local Voice Actor just release translated text for Drama CD should be good. After all GundamAce first translation was Ever17 Drama CD dialogue on Anime Suki forum). @Maxel Well, good morning and have a nice sleep. Although I understand that the announcement was not worth to made me wake up at 9 am though. I'd even woke up at 8.30 am and waiting for announcement by the way. And turned out the only new announcement from Mangagamer was the inevitable translation from Imouto Paradise sequel. @Rooke Nice joke there by the way.
