  1. At least it's not another Sakura VN from Winged Cloud lol. As for the title, I'll just abridge it to Sakusakura to diffrentiate it from Sakusaku (Koi ga Saku ga Sakura Doki). Back to the topic, as for the campaign I'd already worried when I saw volume listed which mean that there would be a chance that the publisher will separated it to three parts, corresponding to three chapters in the VN. Also there's a chance that the company itself couldn't provide decent tier list, like back at ChuSingura and risking the Kickstarter. I said this because even well known VN like Root Double and Dies Irae was facing hard Kickstarter and barely managed to reach the goal, and this time we had one unknown VN going to be Kickstarted. So yeah, I agree with both of Nier and Decay here in regards of Kickstarter. As for my personal opinion, I'm quite interested with this VN but it's not like that I'm look forward to it very much for now at least (Good luck to Kickstarter though, because they'll need it very much). For now, I'll just wait and see in regard of Sakusakura.
  2. I see. Well, I'll take your word in regard of that.
  3. About Rance, well so far it's only 03 that did had a voice indeed and I think it's Alice Soft experiment for voiced Rance VNs, so perhaps we could expect X would be voiced. 03 itself was a remake from Rance 3 in which it did already had the translation, and about Rance 3 it's very outdated in regard of gameplay and the graphic. If you want to check Rance 03 gameplay you could see the LP for that game here but beware of the spoiler, although most of the spoilers were 'It Was His Sled' anyway considering that most of translated Rance was set up after 03.
  4. Unfortunately the save was only work for Japanese version of Da Capo 3, so it's useless to use that 100% save file from Sagaoz. The reason was because the engine between Japanese and English version were different in the first place, and therefore there's no 100% save of Da Capo 3 X Rated version if you want English version of that.
  5. I think nobody would interested to upload NNL version save file, especially when that version didn't had extra menu in which that menu should be the staple for VNs nowadays - actually Muv Luv Alternative (Arguably the best VN) was also had same issue. In that case I think it'll be hard if you want the save for combined version, and therefore I would suggest you just play it by yourself (And save often) if you play NNL version of ef.
  6. Playing Shining Star Supernova demo, and it's just look like normal idol anime in which the producer solved (Or at least involved) in heroines problem, albeit bit darker. As for the voice, looks like it's just very few lines recorded which is understandable considering that they use Japanese voice actresses (ie seiyuu) instead English one. For last comment here, I thought that Mr. Producer (Our MC) here would be just like Atsuya from Dal Segno (Faceless), but turn out he had face and quite handsome at that (I gave credit to the developer for drawing the producer's face).
  7. Let's just hope that something will came up later in regard of Kickstarter delay, and most importantly hope that Subahibi would still had August release (Or September perhaps). Although if there's delay later, it can not be help I guess.
  8. About Steins Gate translation I think there's nothing wrong with that, because so far there's no talk about the translation. Besides, I think the translator for Steins Gate (He was also involved in Dies Irae) was good imo so I would suggest you to play Steins Gate there and find out the translation quality by yourself.
  9. Since we had Magical Marriage Lunatic announcement from back at AX, might as well post the full opening for that. I'm quite surprised when hearing usual 'Wedding March' tune in the opening song, so enjoy. PS - To tell the truth I just knew 'Wedding March' title while I'd already heard it several times.
  10. It's time for the update here, and here's the progress below as usual: Common Route Part 1: 100.0% Common Route Part 2: 100.0% Ai: 21.87% Renna: 0.0% Maki: 0.0% Saeko: 0.0% Total: 25.93% Not much I could say here other than good job there for giving us the stable progress. That's all for this week update.
  11. I knew that it's still too early there, but let me say happy birthday to @DarkZedge out there. Hope you had good year ahead.
  12. I see, and sorry for being wrong in regard of 'there's no fandisc that allow us to replay common route' earlier Anyway, it's only 12 days left until the launching so I would suggest you to look forward to the eventual release.
  13. Try ef if you like eden since they came from the same company (minori), and perhaps you could try Saya no Uta (Quite twisted though). Other than those two, I could recommend Steins Gate (And the sequel) and Kara no Shoujo duology. If you okay with girl love, then Pygmalion would be good for you as well. By the way even if some of my recommendations were only at 800×600, those recommendations still good enough imo.
  14. Visual Novel Translation Status (07/15/2017) The reason for the title was because we had image header from Subahibi, and we had Subahibi giving the Germany title as well (Usual Frontwing, like French at Grisaia), and since we had Alice allusion at Subahibi I thought that if I used Germany title of 'Alice in Wonderland' it would be fitting (I apologize if any Germany people get upset here), only that instead of Alice I'll using 'Hasaki' because the girl in image header was Hasaki from Subahibi. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, in which this week there's no much update from official company although I suppose that's given after many announcements from last week AX. Let's see what updates that we had for this week, even if the updates was not a lot and therefore this week post would be short. Looks like I couldn't access Sekai project progress somehow right now, so it mean that there's no visible updates from Sekai unfortunately. Although to tell the truth it didn't matter though seeing that most of the visible project was already fully translated. Hope I could access the progress in the future, although if that's Sekai new policy then so be it. Lack of visible translation progress aside, actually there's one in which it was from Tokeijikake trilogy 2nd VN (Daybreak) and right now it was at three quarter translated. Sekai also said that right now they performing QA for the first VN, because apparently it was still need some debugging in order to reduce crash when not play on Japanese locale. Oh, and apparently it'll be available soon for the KS backer although it would still had some bug though. There's also Serment RPG VN hybrid thing that had Steam store opened, although I wasn't quite interested with that for now. This week Frontwing decided to do some Kickstarter for Subahibi in order to produce the hard copy. For the first glance the goal was higher than usual hardcopy only Kickstarter (At $80,000), but actually it make sense though with apparently there'll be many merchandise and there's also stretch goal of $180,000 which apparently there will be some side story that would be wrote by the author (SCA-JI) himself. Not interested with the tiers to be blunt (I'd never interested with those at any Kickstarters in the first place), but good luck to Fronwing in regard of their Kickstarter and I'll report the gathered fund weekly. Oh, I checked their Tumblr in regard of 18+ patch and found out that the Steam version didn't censor yuri scene much, so maybe Steam was more acceptable with explicit content compared to few years ago imo. For newly released VN (Sorcerer's Dream), there's a talk that the VN was had many translation error although the title wasn't interesting to me though, so I'll pass this one (Congratulation for the release though). There's many usual updates from fan translation segment, so let's try to roundup the progress here. For this week we had Clover Days Anzu's route was at around 81% translated; Majokoi was both at 90% translated and edited (70.36% TLC-ed); Loverable was at 79.55% translated (Nanako's route was past halfway (52.06%) translated), 20.75% edited, and 46.65% TLC-ed; Sansha Mendan was reaching past 90% mark (92.5%) translated; Venus Blood Chimera was at 46% translated; and Eustia was at 17.73% translated and 10.97% TLC-ed. For Ataraxia voice inserting, right now it was finished although they said that it'll take a while before the release. Pabloc was also had some update with his Konosora restoration project, namely that he'll had the common route QC-ed as well because the translation was still bad and therefore it'll take a while before the release (Hopefully this year). We also had Ate the Moon Translation came back, and this time the team was decided to take on Tsuki Yori Yoritsou Otome no Sahou or as I called Tsukiyori which also known as trap VN from Navel (They already planned the translation for a while). Speaking about Tsukiyori actually it's already had the translation project in the past with another team, but it was dropped because the previous translator was too busy. For now I would like to keep my eyes on the project, and good luck to the team in regard of translating Tsukiyori. They already had the progress, and right now it was at 4.9% translated and 2.5% edited. Keep in mind that the updates might take month, because the translator herself tell us that she was quite busy. And since we had Alice for this week title, might as well said that right now Alice no Kuni otome VN progress was reaching 90% (All of it) and right now they want more translator (Not interested with Alice no Kuni, but good luck nevertheless). I think that's all for this week, and see you next week. PS - There's an update from Tsurezure in regard of Tsujidou (Duh), and this time they managed to reached a quarter (25.93%) translated mark for overall translation with Ai's route was at 21.87% translated. No much I could say in regard of that for this week, and that's all for now.
  15. I see, guess I learned something new in regard of color perception there. Anyway, few days ago I'd decided to read some Tsujidou (Partially patched of course) and it was quite funny. It was sort of interesting seeing that the infamous delinquent was easily defeated by love, although it was quite common story though apparently (I didn't mean it was bad though). As for MC, well he's weak and not as smart as Yamato. His trait was the kind guy, so much that he able to speak with delinquents normally while usually people would be too scared to talk with delinquent. Looking forward to the final release here. PS - As for the translation, I see no problem with that so I would say it was quite good and readable. Although perhaps you'll better find out about the translation quality by yourself though if I may suggest.
  16. Pretty late to notice this, but apparently the translator need to recruit another hacker and her problem was solved in one day. Anyway, there's a good news namely that the project was finally started. Yes, started and right now the progress was at 4.9% translated and 2.5% edited. For now Yeah321 (The translator) said that she had some work (ie wage slave), and said that the progress might be scarce ie probably at monthly update. Regardless of that, good luck to her in regard of the translating Tsukiyori. PS - yeah321 also wrote some of her insight toward her projects and the official VN localization nowadays in general. Might be good if you interested there, so here's the link to her article in regard of her past project and official localization.
  17. Let's see, maybe both of Dracu Riot and Noble Work would be good here although you might already read those though. After those two, maybe you could try My Girlfriend is the President. I'm sorry if those recommendations didn't fit your Majikoi like criteria, but at least it'll fulfill your need of light VNs
  18. Not quite interested with fandisc to tell the truth, but at least Evangile W had one interesting feature. Namely that we could replay common route from the original Evangile, although it only from chapter 0 to chapter 13 though. Nevertheless, as far as I recall in regard of fandisc I think there's none that allow us to replay common route from the original VN - not just summary, and having that feature was quite a bit interesting to say the least.
  19. Finishing Alisa's (Or Alisia perhaps) route, and the ending was more in line with Slavya's instead of Rena's. To elaborate here, Next route, I'll try Ulyana's next.
  20. Well, if I may defend Chrono Clock translation the old people in Japan called green as blue because of cultural reason. But otherwise it was a mistake indeed because the translation was too literal, and I'd already watched two Japanese LPs to knew that the text was indeed said 'aoi' in the original language (Not 'midori'). Either way, I didn't remember too much about the mistranslation in the first place.
  21. As for VN RPG, I think both of Eien no Aselia and Seinarukana could qualify. Yumina was pretty good as well imo, even though it was set in modern time. If you could read Japan, there's Corona which is from same developer as Yumina, Soukoku no Arterial which had modern time setting like Yumina, and Madou Koukaku - both of Soukoku and Madou Koukaku were from eushully (The company behind Ikusa Megami series). Oh, and there's Utawarerumono as well if you want more translated one. Hope my recommendations would be help.
  22. Seeing that most of the choice above was quite good, let's see what kind of recommendation that I could give here. Anyway, my recommendations would be: Dracu Riot - Mostly slice of life, but it had some actions though (Also vampires) Seinarukana - The characters were stranded into another world Cross Channel - Could be disturbing and didn't had traditional route, so it's kind of linear Tsukihime - Had vampires and mystery, although the graphic was might be too old for you Well, that's all the VN with tsundere that I could give you for now, and hope those'll be help.
  23. I prefer them to localize Shirokuma though if they really want to keep censored release policy, simply because it's already had censored version at PSP with additional scenario. But then again, maybe it'll be hard for MoeNovel to do that because of Konosora infamy so there's that.
  24. Well, protagonist being dense in regard of love was already quite common weakness for most of VN though, so I wouldn't call that negative points imo. Good review there (Also nice to see that you like it), and it's quite unfortunate that this VN was overshadowed by Konosora even though this supposed to be Pulltop's 10th anniversary VN, so yeah they need the good writers to pull that. As for mine, unfortunately I couldn't comment much in regard of the story because I didn't read this VN yet (Duh), although if there's a chance of this to be translated I might read this one translated. But if I may comment, I would say that I like the opening that was sang by Shimotsuki Haruka, and the song itself was quite calm yet there's some sense of advanture (At least that's what I'd think).
