  4. Hi, everyone! For this month's release I had a crack at writing one of the oldest unwritten story paths in the game. The part where Kyou has second thoughts about what he's doing right at the end of Penlight's very first storyline: Delusion. I haven't really looked back at my old work all that much, so this was an interesting experience. I think what's there mostly holds up pretty well, although there's a fair amount of early installment weirdness with how the characters express themselves. Not to mention the sprite art has advanced so much since those early days! With that in mind, I couldn't resist making tons of little tweaks to the script and sprite animations to bring it more in line with the rest of the game. Nothing fundamental's been changed, but I think it looks a little better now. As for the new writing... well, it's unfinished as I dithered with the script and then completely ran out of time. Still, what's there lays out how things will go for Kyou after making such a last minute swerve from total disaster. I hope it makes enough sense at least, and I'll be wanting to finish it off real soon~ Like always you can find this month's release in PC, Linux, Mac and Android versions on my SubscribeStar, Patreon or itch.io pages. I've also linked the most recent flowchart guide on the latest public news post on Patreon. Oh and before I forget, I had a CG made for the ending of last month's story path on Hiroko's route, so do go back and check that out! What's New WRITING: New script added to the Delusion storyline for when Kyou agrees with the girls during the climactic sceneWRITING/CODE: Numerous little tweaks and adjustments to the script and sprites during the Delusion storylineART: New CG has been made that appears in the latest ending of the Hiroko Ticklish storylineWord count is now around 421,000LOCALIZATION: Various edits and corrections to the existing Spanish scriptSome typo and grammar corrections
  5. I'm looking for tools to work with a vn called "A Maiden's Woven Canvas of Love". - https://vndb.org/v7794 I need tools that can decrypt and encrypt scripts in the .wsc format. I also need tools for working with .arc archives of the old WillPlus format.
  6. https://vndb.org/r110474 It hasn't released yet, still being QC'ed. You should really check VNDB for this stuff. The only way to legally obtain Tsui no Sora Remake is to buy the subahibi 10th anniversary, which I'm pretty sure it's on getchu at the very least. If you want to obtain it illegally then you'll have to ask on some other site, pretty sure it's against the rules here.
  7. I had to create an account just so I can THANK YOU AS YOU SHOULD!!! OMG, it instantly brought a big smile into my face. It actually worked. Pure genius.

  9. Since that is a technical question regarding the forum software, only a mod, like Clephas would be able to answer that. Try messaging them or quoting one of their posts to get their attention.
  10. wow that's a lot of info. Thank you for helping me out! I will look into the methods you recommended
  11. Also how do i upload profile pics without broken images or blobs of blue/pink/green pixals
  12. Marimo and Yuuhi routes done partial now its time for Class rep and Mikoto then after that im starting supplement or i might do miki's route aint sure yet. and once supplements done Schwarzesmarken
  13. I did come across one recently, but that was with a male lead. Usually you just search VNDB for that sort of thing. The score on the left is how much of that genre/tag is included in the game and the Rating on the right is what other people thought of the game. Adding female protagonist to the list makes it smaller. You can also try searching through https://nepchan.org/ .
  14. Most AI API providers assume you can write basic code yourself. Even though about a year and a half has passed since AI really took off, this is still very early in terms of software development since software development takes time, especially for quality software. There are not a lot of good options right now, and almost all of them require tinkering and being very familiar with the particulars of both the model you are using and the API you are working with. A short 100 line python program could do it, but you would have to plug in your data manually and format it or whatever. Some examples are DazedMTLTool, Translator++, SLR Translator, and a handful of other projects on github in various states of development. Dazed is ChatGPT only. Translator++ is DRM'd paid software that requires constant internet connection to validate your patreon account, the AI addons cannot be used otherwise. SLR Translator is not yet released but should have some AI addons shortly after it is released. Shortly means like within a few months. DeepL has also started to incorporate AI into their API as well, so you can just submit a prompt that has extra information for DeepL to consider when generating their output. They are not currently charging for this but like... they are going to very soon, so use it while you can. DeepL is free for the first 500k characters/month. All other APIs are paid/rate limited. If you want to do unlimited, then you basically have to run AI yourself locally using KoboldCpp or similar programs and write your own software to interface with it. That said, IDK of any software that has working DeepL API + prompt translations working, so you are back to writing it yourself territory there. If you just want basic translations, NMTs are much easier to use. Personally use my repackage for the Sugoi v4 NMT model. It has an easy to use Web UI written by one of the server authors, so I just dump the raw text in there and get it back right away. But NMT models, like Sugoi v4, are not AI obviously, they are the precursor to contemporary AI. They are basically free though 500+ lines in ~30s to calculate w/CUDA, and they provide a good basis to create edited MTL patches as long as you are willing to take a bit of time to format the output yourself. Edited MTL is better quality than AI generated TLs because it means a human looked at the output, so do not look down on NMTs too much. Just because AIs are the superior successor technology does not mean they produce superior output without A LOT of fiddling and certainly they do not compare well against edited NMT translations at all. In terms of quality: Human translator > Edited MTL (AI or NMT) > MTL (AI) > MTL (NMT) > MTL (Dictionary) In terms of cost and ease of use: MTL (Dictionary) > MTL (NMT) > MTL (AI) > Edited MTL (AI/NMT) > Human translator
  15. Its ok that you can't help. I use WINE to run visual novels on my Mac so I might be able to figure out a locale change on there. I'll try to use a sandbox app or whatever it is. I haven't had experience dealing with them in the past so I'll have to look into how to get it to run.
  16. Sorry, but playing non-localized JVNs, especially old ones, pretty much requires the locale change. I'm surprised it even starts on a Mac, given the lack of emphasis on compatibility towards Mac computers in the JVN industry. My suggestion is to use a sandbox app and put Japanese Windows or English Windows on it, then install the game there. Sorry to say that that is the only workaround I can think of at the moment.
  17. I've been hearing a lot about AI and the fact that MTL are getting significantly better to the point where Crunchyroll is actively using it. I was wondering what MTL program people would recommend for me if I wanna try to patch a VN.
  18. Yo, I know this is probably a little late after you asked but I was wondering if you still need help. I am getting into programming and script ripping stuff so I am super novice but I wanna have some practice. I might not be much help but I can try my best!

  20. "Tenchi Muyo!" was a complete Phenomenon in Japan throughout most of the 1990's... and Picked up real hard in popularity in the U.S. for a brief period in the early-2000's. i was there at ground zero... and TM! was, essentially, the first major Anime series i was deeply invested in that was not Mecha-related. In Fact; My TM! Fandom was centrally responsible for driving me into Anime Character Dolls and their Customization potential. i started out with a full set of TOYNAMI's very clumsy 12in. TM! Dolls around 2001/2002... and in 2023/2024, i came back Full Circle, after a fashion, by acquiring TAKARA's two-doll mid-90's Juraiian Alien-Princess pair, both of which being long-time Grails of mine... and both being very amenable to an upgrade to the fabulous 2018 OBITSU 26cm. Doll Body~
