  1. Of course, "Nier" was already taken on Reddit, so I went with NieRReplicant.
  2. That is my case, I don't bother with digital-only releases, even if a title interest me. My rule: 'No Physical, No Buy' There are quite a few titles in english that I can not play because I simply do not buy digital and they didn't release hardcopies of them, The House in Fata Morgana, Tokyo Babel, Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning, eden*, Cartagra, Nurse Love Addiction, Tomoyo After, Magical Eyes and maybe a few others such as Eyuu*Senki, but thankfuly that will be fixed by JAST USA when they release soon™ a physical copy version for PC in 2017 or 2018. Digital-only releases desecrates everything that is sacred and wholesome about VN! As a matter of fact I don't mind paying 150+ USD for a physical copy, while I wouldn't pay 20 USD for a Steam copy!
  3. Yeah, like I said, pretty sure that releasing 18+ versions exclusive to Denpasoft store isn't working out too well for them (low sales), so they are trying something new this time around with Nutaku to have a bigger coverage on this title and try to see how it does from there in terms of Nutaku sales.
  4. Putting a game on their storefront that would qualify as "distribution" as for marketing, putting it on their storefront and having banners and such on websites that say "Hey, ChronoClock was just released on our website Nutaku, check it out!" It's part of the package.
  5. Substantial in which way? He made it clear that they aren't involved in the localization process.
  6. I just think they are using Nutaku as a distribution platform for the 18+ version, at this point Nutaku is the closest thing to a Steam-like platform for 18+ products and as such because of this it would bring in alot more sales than just releasing it on Denpasoft, it doesn't seem like releasing 18+ version of digital download titles exclusively on Denpasoft gets them too much customers so they are trying something new by testing the waters and releasing an 18+ title on Nutaku.
  7. Hey, well this was a rather bad timing to launch this campaign, the month of July and August were pretty dry for VN crowdfunding campaigns and you just had to launch it at the same time as Sekai Project's surprise ChronoClock campaign, that was unfortunate. Anyways, have you tried to make a post on this sub-reddit? https://www.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/ Good luck, though!
  8. No hardcopy unless they hit the 9000 USD stretch goal.
  9. If you were in the known, then in the future I respectfully suggest that you should refrain from using reprehensible "buzzwords" and ill-fitted terminologies that might lead to some unfortunate confusions. Using the term "shill" in reference to someone that is clearly not an employee of such honorable, remarkable and hospitable company is truly the lowest of the low and reveals an utter lack of responsability towards the weight that one's own impetuous words might have on others. Have you by any chance played the greatness that is Corona Blossom Vol.1: Gift From the Galaxy, mayhap? Or are you making some baseless conjonctures like almost everybody else's that has some negative things to say about it? Listen, Corona Blossom Vol.1: Gift From the Galaxy is a good Kinetic Novel that should take on average ~8 hours to finish, if Vol.1 is indicative of the length of the subsequent Vol.2 and Vol.3 then this should bring the complete length to a total of ~25 hours, so 30 USD for such sublime experience is truly a Gift From the Galaxy! Might I inquire, how would you know about anything related to any of what you just so irreverently claimed? You just admited yourself, here: That you have not even deigned to honor the game by playing it and yet it seems that your prejudiced mind has already passed judgement on it: "Frontwing fanatic tendency"? No, I am a True VN Fan™ and I will defend the honor of any VN companies that have proven themselves over the years by making fanastic VNs, wether it be Frontwing, âge, Eufonie, Key, Liar-soft, Makura, Minato Soft, Nitro+, propeller, Pulltop, Purple Software, Regista, Saga Planets, sprite, Type-Moon, Yuzu Soft and so many others!
  10. The image is not NSFW, the naughty bits are censored for safety so it's all good.
  11. Frontwing is keeping you ungrateful non-japanese steambot pirates out of the loop, as revenge for crashing Sharin Kickstarter and ignoring Corona Blossom Vol.1: Gift From the Galaxy! So here is the glorious news directly from japanese sources. You can already pre-order it from Melon Books, Getchu, Sofmap and a few other places: https://www.melonbooks.co.jp/search/search.php?mode=search&search_disp=&category_id=0&text_type=&text_type=all&name=Corona+Blossom http://www.getchu.com/php/search.phtml?genre=all&search_keyword=CoronaBlossom&check_key_dtl=1&submit= http://a.sofmap.com/search_result.aspx?mode=SEARCH&styp=p_bar&product_type=NEW&product_type=USED&gid=&keyword=Corona+Blossom&GO_L.x=0&GO_L.y=0 Also as additional punishment for being terrible customers all around, Frontwing didn't include the best wallscroll in the IndieGogo campaign but instead kept it exclusive to Japan: NSFW Of course, since this is Japan it is sold out and utterly unobtainable now. http://a.sofmap.com/product_detail/exec/_/sku=13038132 Please now take your punishement, reflect on it and let it sink in, this way you might actually start to become actual good customers in the future, just like the Japanese customers!
  12. Any plans to offer a physical DVD copy of the game reward tier for the Kickstarter campaign?
  13. I know that for Japanese VN campaigns Physical Game copies is a very popular reward, for OELVN (well basically a term used for any VN that is not from Japan irregardless of the fact wether it is originally in english or not) it is not as popular but still gets some additional non-negligible amount of pledging (depending on the prices and popularity of the project's campaign). Here is The Human Reignition Project Kickstarter campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sekaiproject/the-human-reignition-project-an-english-visual-nov/description, one of the most funded OELVNs on kickstarter and if you calculate the backing tiers for the physical rewards of the game: Amount Pledged: 4000 USD from 100 backers (40 USD Early Bird Reward Tier Limited to 100 Spots, Physical Copy of the Game) Amount Pledged: 800 USD from 16 backers (50 USD Reward Tier, Physical Copy of the Game) Amount Pledged: 780 USD from 13 backers (60 USD Reward Tier, Physical Copy of the Game + Digital Copy of the Game) Amount Pledged: 1120 USD from 16 backers (70 USD Reward Tier, Physical Copy of the Game + Physical Copy of the OST) Amount Pledged: 640 USD from 8 backers (80 USD Reward Tier, Physical Copy of the Game + Physical Hardcover Artboot) Amount Pledged: 10000 USD from 100 backers (100 USD Reward Tier, Physical Copy of the Game + Physical Copy of the OST + Physical Hardcover Artbook + Kickstarter Exclusive Character Print) Amount Pledged: 1250 USD from 5 backers (250 USD Reward Tier Limited to 5 Spots, Physical Copy of the Game + Physical Original Character Illustration) You will see that the total adds up to 18590 USD, which is significant enough to warrant physical reward tiers for the game. They even recently opened a Backerkit Pre-Orders page to offer physical rewards to the late comers: https://the-human-reignition-project-an-english-visual-nov.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders which is still additional money brought in post-funding thanks to the inclusion of physical rewards.
  14. That is quite saddening news, may I ask why not? Maybe you could have a physical DVD-ROM copies as a stretch goal at least?
  15. Will the Kickstarter campaign offer a reward tier for a physical DVD-ROM copy of the game (preferably DRM-Free)? If so, I am on-board this.
