  1. This: https://vndb.org/v20194 is Frontwing's answer to this: https://vndb.org/v13774 While this: https://vndb.org/v1661 is Frontwing's answer to this: https://vndb.org/v4594
  2. Frontwing released tons of title that aren't Grisaia related, they just released Corona Blossom two days ago. Type Moon released multitple titles from different IP.
  3. It is correct, Beast Lair's patches are made specifically for Relta Nua PC version. You want to play Realta Nua you're gonna have to go on nyaa to get it because it isn't sold anymore on amazon.co.jp since Q1 or Q2 2014 and apparently those came bundled with securom anyways, Realta Nua is separated into 3 different folders (Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feels) with 2 different patches available since July 2014. One patch adds new content exclusive to the Vita version and one simply translates the vanilla Realta Nua PC game. It's pretty obvious that the Vita versions of both Fate games are the definitive versions of the games. Right now Beast's Lair are working on porting the improvements brought on the Hollow Ataraxia Vita release from Q4 2014 unto the PC version: http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/5657-Fate-Hollow-Ataraxia-Voice-Project And from what they said, they might also be working on turning the Vita versions of Realta Nua and Hollow Ataraxia in english: http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/6932-Vita-Hackable-On-Latest-Firmware-English-Patched-Games-Now-100-Possible-Realta-Nua-Hollow-Ataraxia-Vita-English-Patch-When ... As I linked a few posts earlier: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B000EDWJ3O/ It clearly shows there that you don't have to spend 325 bucks for it, 17500 Yen would do for a sealed copy. As for Fate/Zero Limited Edition Blu-ray: http://www.rightstufanime.com/Fate-Zero-Blu-ray-Box-Set-1-Hyb-Limited-Edition http://www.rightstufanime.com/Fate-Zero-Blu-ray-Box-Set-2-Hyb-Limited-Edition
  4. Yeah I know that as I have quite a collection of imported VN, pretty much all of which were purchased brand new factory sealed, but the most I ever paid was between 10000 to 14000 Yen for stuff that were sold out and more expensive (which is quite typical of games who received a fan-translation patch many years after the original release), but I certainly would never go past that.
  5. WTH? And there I thought that 10000 Yen for a new eroge was expensive. It's not, these patches are specifically for Realta Nua. Sold my copy a year ago for 120 bucks, it has some value but I don't think it's worth that much, here: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B000EDWJ3O/ You can get a used copy of about 4500 Yen. The one that is worth alot is the newest PC release which bundles both Fate/Stay Night and Hollow Ataraxia: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00HG6XMG0/
  6. That's good, physical copies of Hollow Ataraxia can actually be used with the Beast's Lair english patch but not only that there is a patch in progress on Beast's Lair where it will basically turn the PC version into a Vita version (voices, new cutscenes etc.): http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/5657-Fate-Hollow-Ataraxia-Voice-Project
  7. You can't put on your shelf something that is digital-only. https://vndb.org/r17678 https://vndb.org/r18060 https://vndb.org/r18061 Like the other poster said, he could get a console version at best: https://vndb.org/r36304
  8. - No voices - Missing content from Realta Nua - Incompatible with Beast's Lair English Patches - Possible compatibility issues with newer PC builds - Inferior SFX/Visuals compared to Realta Nua Save your money and just download Realta Nua PC version somewhere off the net and apply one of the 2 Beast's Lair english patches.
  9. ...? Why are you guys sending this guy to go buy old and outdated versions of Fate/Stay night? First the original version of Fate/Stay night has been retconned since Realta Nua came out, it's been replaced by Realta Nua which is the canon Fate/stay night now (not to mention the superior one), not only that but the english patches released in 2014 on Beast's Lair won't even work with this version, they work with the PC version of Realta Nua. Beside that, these linked versions used copies of Fate/stay night have been released more than 10 years ago, most of them are on CD instead of DVD and they might have compatibility issues with newer computer builds. Here is the most recent release of 18+ Fate/Stay night: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00HG6XMG0/ Here are some videos on it:
  10. No you can't... Those games were removed from sales since Q1 or Q2 2014, not to mention Realta Nua never received a physical release in Japan so wether you have a japanese address or not changes nothing. Realta Nua on PC have always been digital only and exclusive to amazon.co.jp, which were removed from sales back in 2014. So yeah, your only hope is to download the game from somehwere on the internet and apply the patch from Beast's Lair patch (either the version with 18+ content and Vita content or simply an english patch for the vanilla PC version of Realta Nua).
  11. It's not "censored" since there is no reason to add mosaic...
  12. That's good, it's a better alternative than releasing a cut PC version like MoeNovel did for Konosora or what NextNinja did with Chusingura46+1. Too bad that Essence+ never received a console version as Essence+ is the definitive version of Shuffle with the most routes.
  13. Are we sure this is a port of the PS2 version and not just the PC version with cut 18+ content? The rights of the PS2 version would at least in part belong to Kadokawa Shoten.
  14. There is nothing "problematic" with languages that make more distinction between male/female. Hell no they don't -> 出る杭は打たれる Japan doesn't have the superior culture for nothing.
  15. I don't care for Steam, the only time when I pay money for VNs is when: - It's an official localization release with an english physical copy either as a reward on Kickstarter/IndieGogo or if it's a physical copy up for sale on MangaGamer or Jlist Online Stores. - An English Fan-Translation Patch was released and I go and buy a japanese physical version of the game on amazon.co.jp/getchu.com/YJA/amiami.com to use with the patch. The only time I use Steam is when I get a Steam key with a Kickstarter/IndieGogo campaign that I backed and in the physical reward a Steam code was included as well, so I just play the game on Steam as soon as it releases and leave my physical copy sealed when I receive it months/year(s) later. I might make some exception if the price on Steam is really low due to a sales, but yeah you'll never see me buying something that cost 39.99 or 49.99 on Steam. No physical, no buy. I still haven't been able to play eden*, The House in Fata Morgana, Tokyo Babel, Gahkthun and such due to them not having gotten a physical release. Also I expect physical editions to be DRM-free of course.
  16. You're probably the only one here who went ahead and purchased the game.
  17. So what are you arguing about? It says right there that the game will have japanese VA. My post wasn't about Bloody Chronicles having english VA, it was about the sole 4 OELVN who have or will have japanese VA and Bloody Chronicles is one of them.
  18. Bloody Chronicles will have japanese VA, you can ask them if you want to confirm yourself.
  19. There are 4 OELVN titles confirmed so far to be using japanese VA: Sunrider: Libration Day (Released, Fully Voiced) Quantum Suicide (To be Released, Fully Voiced) Bloody Chronicles (To be Released, Fully Voiced) Shining Song Starnova (To be Released, Unknown Wether it will be Fully or Partially Voiced)
  20. I wasn't missing the point, I was giving an example. The belief that only the japanese can do manga, light novels, visual novels is not that much different from similar belief found in other form of entertainments from other regions, such as the western movie entertainment where basically people will go on to defend and condone the whitewashing of characters that were originally meant for East-Asian or Middle-Eastern actors but went to white actors instead, they would say hypocritical things as to try to appear neutral when they really aren't such as "I don't care if the actor is white, black, asian, purple I care if the actor is good", which indirectly betrays their unspoken belief that only white actors can be "good actors". Manga is associated with Japan and the Japanese, so of course the expectations of people is to have the greatest work available to them and for them the greatest mangas would inevitably be japanese. Similarly, Hollywood is associated with the West and the Westerners, as such people expect white actors and white directors to deliver the full "Hollywood package" better than anybody else.
  21. Yeah I know about Shining Song Starnova but didn't mention it because it's not known if it will have full japanese voice acting or just partial. Life is Strange isn't a VN though... And the actors from Just Deserts most aren't even really amateurs, they already did dubs on anime and/or video games.
  22. What's wrong with that? There are plenty of non-whites who would like to be allowed access to some job opportunities but can't because they are barred from it due to these job opportunities being historically reserved and awarded exclusively to whites. See the immense lists of roles that were supposed to go to East-Asian or Middle-Eastern actors but were ultimately awarded to white actors instead. Besides there are quite a bit of "Manga-like" comics made by non-japanese, on mangaupdates these are listed under the "OEL" category (even if they are not even originally in english): https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?type=oel&perpage=50 Even some of these managed to be published in Japan: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2015-08-06/radiant-becomes-1st-french-manga-published-in-japan/.91351 The Korean and Chinese even make their own "manga-like" comics, they are respectivelly called "Manhwa" and "Manhua".
