I find it almost the opposite. The fact we form such a tiny, tiny part and yet know about such vast, vast things is truly incredible to me. And let's face it, we have trouble sometimes comprehending the difference between one side of this planet to the other, so what difference does 1027m actually make, eh?
Confession: Sleep didn't happen last night. I tried going to sleep at 12, and it didn't happen. I read with low light, did some push-ups, drank some lavender tea and ignited a lavender incense stick, and still nothing. It's now 7 a.m., so I've basically given up and am now focusing on slogging this day out. At least I don't have to be productive today!   \ /

Confession: I was about to do something productive, and was going to start up some music first. But I accidentally (no, really) clicked the Huniepop icon right next to the music player icon. ... I played it for over an hour and now it's time for bed.

Not really. I feel like most people who do like VNs are more likely to be anime fans than anything else... Plus there's the light novel crowd (who tend to be gigantic when added up - same thing with manga, really. They can get really out of hand.)  
VNs can appeal to anime watchers through anime porn and the type of romance that can't really go on TV 
It also lets you know characters before using H scenes for erotic purposes, which provides the ultimate type of erotica for some people. 
You might or might not argue that's why we're a niche and that VNs should focus on reaching other audiences... But if they stop marketing towards that niche I'll no longer have an interest in VNs, so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Practically every time you spend money, you're giving that money to billionaires. Eating out anywhere? Billionaires get paid. Buying food at a grocery store? Billionaires get paid. Going to a theater? Billionaires get paid. Riding a bus? Billionaires get paid. Taking a shower? Billionaires get paid. Want to breathe? Billionaires probably get paid somehow. 
Unless you live a super austere lifestyle where you don't have any luxury goods at all (and computers, mobile phones, TVs, etc are luxury goods), your justifications for piracy are nothing more than self-serving and extremely hypocritical. Either admit that you just want free shit, or actually dedicate yourself to this righteous cause of yours instead of so thoroughly half-assing it. Because right now, you're hurting the little guys WAY more than you are the big billionaires. If you're okay with that in your quest for free shit, fine, just be honest about it.

I actually love travelling. I love the journey there, and seeing the world pass by as I go into places I've never been before. I love going to new places, especially if they're areas of natural beauty, and I also love that sensation of returning home, no matter how good a time it's been.
I live only an hour or so from London, so it'd be interesting to see how an American finds it (even if it will be mostly gushing over museums, which tbf there is nothing wrong with at all).
I think you should go to the Tate Modern all the same, and let us know how much you hate it in as much hilarious detail as you can muster

I saw the words 'Elvish dictionary' and the Tolkien lover squealed in me squealed ever so slightly. That's unbelievably cool. Are you making the alphabet and language yourselves, or will it be adapted from Quenya?
Oh yeah, and the art looks really, really good. Colour me interested on this one.

So I woke up to this announcement, apparently a lot of money from a lot of rich/famous and other influential peoples have been going through a law firm in Panama.
This leak is the biggest leak yet and could come with a lot of disturbing news from all over the world.
People with a lot of money tend to do tax evasion, nothing new there. But I cant help to be excited when stuff like this gets revealed

So it basically works how Bandcamp works with name-your-price releases? While I have no experience of this (yet, but I will check it out), if it works anything like Bandcamp does it's a fantastic idea, particularly for budding developers trying to make a name for themselves. Sounds awesome!

As has been said many times before now (partially due to me being extremely late to the party), I really like the idea behind this, particularly as I'm a bit of a sucker for anything language based. Unfortunately I'm not much of a writer and I have the drawing abilities of a 5 year old so I have no services to offer () but I'm definitely interested to see where this one goes. Best of luck!
