Isn't that because some people are not allowed to attend 18+ panels if they're underage? Or maybe some people get offended/don't want to see 18+ panels. Even if they don't show any sexually explicit content, the content they talk about in this panels may be NSFW,

That is an immense amount of effort for a work that is likely to be overlooked because most people cannot find the time to read an 100+ visual novel, and those who are insane enough to do so have already read the mirror-moon translation.
That said, your translation definitely reads better than the mirror-moon translations based on the few excerpts that you picked up, and hopefully anyone who decides to read the original VN will find your translation well worth it.

Can't blame you. Its very hard to find people willing to volunteer nowadays. All the OG translators and editors have moved on or are working for actual localisation companies, and all the potential new ones are kinda spoiled by the volume of English releases that they don't see the point of learning Japanese. In the past, out of necessity, there would be people who would try to improve their Japanese by translating in the own time. I'm really grateful and thankful for all the work you and the team put in

    Good luck!
Ruitomo is one of those VNs which is very surprising hasn't had a fan translation for a long time, considering its acclaim and the story it tells.
I would help, but sadly my Japanese isn't at the level where I can read VNs without a parser.

LAsuka got a reaction from Rahman N in 9-Nine Episode 1 Questions (Spoiler alert)
You should treat 9-nine- as a tetralogy instead of a standalone VN. True, it can be played as a standalone game, but it would seem to be very lacking, as its story and plot builds up on future releases. Treating it as a necessary piece of a larger whole makes the game far more valuable. So your question can't really be answered. However, if you were to ask me if the 9-nine- series is worth playing and worth the money, then it is would be a resounding 'YES' and worth every cent. My favourite character is a toss-up between Miyako and Sora.

Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou - English Translation Project

    VNDB: https://vndb.org/v10680
    Current state of things:
Because Cocomeido, the previous leader of the project has been MIA since July 2017, me and one other person, Glephyr, have decided to continue translation of this project. I've contacted the hacker of the the previous project, and now have all the work left behind by the previous team. (We literally got all the files less than 24 hours ago, so excuse us if we're a bit unorganized.)
    Cocomeido's blog and progress: https://tsukiatte.wordpress.com/
    Recruitment:
    We will be looking for:
Translator (We basically only need one more, but if this isn’t possible, me and Glephyr will do what we can without additional translators) Translation Checkers Editors / Quality Checkers / Testers Hacker? (According to glephyr, most of the work from the previous hacker has already been completed) In particular, we would like native, or near native level of English proficiency with for editors and quality checkers.
    About me and Glephyr:
I personally do not have experience as a translator in any other visual novel translation projects, but I have read through this game a couple of times, and have provided translations for Princess Connect on my Youtube channel, under the name Nonstopmop. I have also acted as a Quality Checker for another translation project in the past.
Glephyr has worked with translation teams as well as experience as a project leader, but that experience has been on translating from Japanese to Chinese, so ideally, we have someone take over as a main translator and have Glephyr move to being a TLC.
    Appeal:
Yo so, this main character? Super cute, super sweet, and is voiced. Read the vndb reviews to get an idea of it, but this game does have a trap protagonist. If the idea of a trap protagonist doesn't appeal to you, which it honestly didn't for me at first either, know two things. One, I walked out of this series basically loving the main character, and two, one of the supporting writers on board is the legendary Ou Jackson, easily one of my most favorite writers. He's also the person in charge of writing for the Nakayoshibu guild in Princess Connect. Unfortunately, only a few scenes really have that "Ou Jackson feel" to them, but the spin-off game and its fandisc absolutely do.

And that's it! If anyone is willing to help out, please let us know! If not, we’ll be doing our best to complete the project with the manpower we currently have.

In light of new information, there's a high chance that Neko Nyan (no guarantees of course) has this project in the works already. I'm no professional, so I don't think it's really the right play for me to be continuing this, potentially on my own. Apologies for the post, and thank you for taking the time to read any of the above if you did. Please support the release by Neko Nyan if it does indeed end up happening, as I really would like more people to read this game.

    Muv-Luv series
    - Generally considered one of the best VN series around, mainly for Alternative, but Extra and Unlimited are pre-requisites. Revolves around a post-apoclayptic world where humans have been pushed to the brink of extinction due to a alien species known as BETA (Beings of Extra-Terrestrial origin and Adversary of the human race). Humans have developed Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF) which are basically giant robots which are the only weapon effective against the BETA. The series revolves around a guy named Takeru who is somehow able to cross worlds and his attempt to save the human race. This is the most understated explanation of the game, but if you read any reviews, this VN series is almost universally praised.
Aokana - Four Rhythms Across The Blue
    - A world where humans discovered an anti-gravity particle that allows them to fly. They develop a game/sport called Flying Circus (FC) where they fly around to touch buoys to score points. The story revolves around a guy who was once an up-and-coming star in FC, but gave up his dreams for some reason. Considered one of the best character-driven game of all time and one of Sprite's best works. There's an all-age version available.
    Planetarian
    - Short (About 5-10 hours) story about a human and an female android in a post-apocalyptic world. It is considered one of Key's better works and is all-ages.
    *eden
    - Short (5-10 hours) story about humanity's decision to leave Earth due to a comet which would hit Earth in a couple of years. Resolves around a hyper-intelligent bio-engineered girl who decides to remain on this planet and the guy who decides to stay with her until the end. Base version is all-ages.
Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo, and its sequel, Yuukyuu no Shounenshoujo
    - Revolves around a group of elites called Special High-Class Individual who are tasked with re-educating and reforming criminals. The main character is on his final exam to be a Special High-Class Individual and his final test is to reform 4 girls. One of the best character-driven VNs ever.
    G-senjou no Maou
    - Revolves around the brain of a yakuza enterprise, an extremely intelligent girl and a mysterious hyper-intelligent criminal called Maou. A cat and mouse game between the girl and Maou ensues. If you like wit battles, this game will be a god-send.

Same. I was a quite hyped for a VN which everyone either hates it or puts it on the pedestal of a legendary VN with god-tier writing on the level of the greats of the literary canon.
It turned out... well not as great as expected.
Is it a kamige? Not to me.
Is it worth playing? Definitely yes.
I'll give it an 8/10. Just don't expect any catharsis in any of the routes, except maybe the Demon route.
Disclaimer: The English version is obviously very different from the Japanese version which is almost universally praised. However... it probably doesn't matter too much. Also the H is terrible. They are short and all very disturbing - even discounting the rape scenes, the pure love "vanilla" ones are equally disturbing.

Very salient insights. I enjoyed watching the video.
Couple of thoughts maybe to add:
--> What about the relationship of VNs to anime, considering most people came from the latter.
--> What is the future of VNs, given the continued decline in reading literature?
--> The relationship of adult content to the literary value of VNs

Hot take, but I literally can't stand Dies Irae.
I'm halfway through Rea's route and I can't take any more pretentious dialogue (that portends to be 'grandiose' and 'insightful') and random Nazi bullshit.
Also, Rea and Ren has no chemistry.

Gekkou no Carneval is SOOO BORING.

Probably gonna wait until something more worth playing comes up. Until then, there's a huge backlog of games to start on.

I would say 9-nine- is a pretty good game. It starts off pretty slow and pretty unremarkably, but things really pick up from episode 3 and episode 4 is a really great finale. I did a brief review of the tetralogy that you can find here.

If you're talking about skilled protagonists, the ones I can think off the top of my head are

Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (MC is a 'Special High Class Individual)
and its sequel, Yuukyuu no Shounenshoujo
G-senjou no Maou (The MC is the brain of a Yakuza Empire)
9-nine series (MC is not an anti-hero, but is highly capable, especially in the final episode)
Muv-Luv (Extra, Unlimited and Alternative) - MC starts off whiny, weak and insubstantial, but transforms into one of the best protagonists probably of all time
Ayakashibito (MC is an escapee from an internment camp)
Sorcery Jokers (The MC with white hair is a true badass)

There's probably a bunch more, so I'll update this if I remember.

One thing I can't get over is during one of the H-scenes, she says something along the lines of "You can't see it can you? Of course, there's a mosaic in the way.", while the translation states, "You're lucky, you know. In the Japanese version, there's a mosaic in the way". And this game, is of course, un-mosaiced. This made me laugh so hard. Am I weird?

I'll actually advise against skipping FF2. Although I like Lute as much as any other person, I actually prefer Ruin (FF2's Protagonist) as the protagonist because he actively participates in the plot, rather than simply stumbling through sheer dumb luck. Some of the ways that he deliberately talks circles around his foes as well as around the heroines are also actually very endearing.
I also prefer the heroines and the political landscape of FF2, but that's personal preference. I do believe that FF Gaiden 2 is the best entry in the series though.

Spring: For light-hearted chara-ge and moe-ge like Princess Evangile or Majikoi
Fall: For crazy heart-pumping chunni-ge like Dies irae or Fate/Stay Night. I guess some nakige works too.
Winter: For melancholic and despairing naki-ge, maybe Narcissu?

    YU-NO
I've heard fantastic things about this visual novel, and have attempted to play it more than once - but every time I try it kinda drop it midway because the system is infuriating, and the art is pretty old. That said, apparently there's a remake coming soon, so there's that.
    Steins;Gate, CLANNAD
Now before you raise pitchforks and torches to burn me at the stake, let me explain. Apparently these few VNs had a pretty good anime adaptations (some of the best, actually), and because of that, most of the twists are already spoiled for me, and I don't get any interest playing it. My policy now is that if an anime has a VN counterpart, I will always play it first, or wait for it to be translated, unless there is beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will ever be translated.
    SubaHibi
I've also heard great things about this, but seriously, the first chapter really turned me off, and while the second and third chapter had its moments, I really need to get into the mood to enjoy this series. Also, because its seriously weird (in a good way, though weirdness need some time to get used to). I will eventually finish this... someday.
    Kara no Shoujo 2
The extended flashback scene was WAAAY too long, and while not bad per se, overstayed its welcome. I'm going to get back to it soon, since its Halloween and all.
... Pretty much a lot more which I've forgotten (Phenomeno, KoiNatsu Resort and Myth is some I kinda remember), these are the most memorable ones.
Cross Channel is generally a slow burn and I can emphathise with dropping it because until beyond the halfway mark its seems like a weird slice-of-life and you have no idea what's going on. It gets better later though, though I must admit, the ending really left much to be desired.
