I'm mainly an anime fansubber but I've recently started learning how to translate visual novels, or at least trying.
So far the three vn engines I can work on are kirikiri, n-scripter and renpy, but I'll gladly learn more if I can find guides and/or tools.

Hello guys my name is Henry and I am just another fellow Visual Novel lover like you guys.  This is my first time registering in this kind of site where you can post threads and topics, despite my age (early 20s). 
I never really like to read books, but when i found out the world of Visual Novels, I was astonished by the beautiful images, interactive capability, numerous paths to take that invoke freedom, perfect music that manipulates the viewer's atmosphere and hearts, and the vast variety of genres of Visual Novels!
The very first Visual Novel I read, if I remember correctly, was True Remembrance.  It was a short and beautiful Visual Novel and sucked me into the new world.  Although It ended in less than 10 hours, but to someone who never really read much books, it was kind of long for me.
Then I dove into the world of the bittersweet Narcissu.  It had a sad story with amazing music that goes with it.  Before i knew it, I finished the novel and downloaded the OST into my phone. 
After that I started Ever 17 Out of the Infinity, my first long Visual Novel intriguing story. The scientific and theological aspect got me hooked because I am into science especially about time. (That I don't need to say I love Steins;Gate)
And now I am starting Sharin no Kuni and have lots of VNs already downloaded waiting for me such as G-Senjou no Maou, Juniper's Knot, Katawa Shoujo, The Fruit of Grisaia, Remember 11, Root Double, Saya no Uta, Sepia Tears, Swan Song, and Symphonic Rain.  Before I download anymore I should probably finish at least half of these. 
That's where my life's at right now.  Besides Visual Novels, I like to play video games like Kingdom Hearts, Dark Souls, Disgaea, and Final Fantasy games.  Nice to meet you guys.

I'd say Liar-soft's Fairytale Requiem and its fandisc, Fairytale Encore, along with their append discs.
The visuals look absolutely gorgeous and I really dig the characters' designs (Alice and the protagonist's designs are my favorite). Also, from what I've heard the game's fairy tale theme with some elements of horror and mystery mixed in sounds like my kind of game.

Also, I'd bring over Kusarihime ~Euthanasia~. Looks just on the right side of twisted and the slightly pastel-y art style is pretty different to most other titles.

I'm hoping for an announcement of a partnership with Light or the release of Semiramis no Tenbin over here.  Heck, I'd even take a localization of Toppara, haha

In terms of porn fetish games like this, I would love for Rasen Kairou to be brought over as well.  This is exactly what America the western world needs.

I really want to read Sayonara o Oshiete. The color palette looks really interesting and the story is right up my alley, as someone who really likes horror and denpa.

in case you come up with a legit method of transmutating kanji puns and whatsnot into western-ish glyphs, whilst keeping their spirit alive, the chances are good, otherwise better bury every hopes of oretsuba ever seeing an official western release, like ever ever.

I thought the bully route was kinda annoying.  Like i felt it's forced way too much.
I like the cat girl though.  The whole time I kept wondering is this really some magical girl, or just some crazy as girl.  It's kind of dreary in that your never sure and it makes you feel bad for her state of mind.   She keeps insisting she wants to go back to her world, but all evidence points to that shes just a normal girl.  The protagonist seems to juggle whether to appeal to her dream world or get her help.

That said, welcome. You should drop by the chat sometime - there's usually a lot of talk, especially during the midweek evenings. A couple of people there also write and create stuff, so you might feel at home.
