Summary
“I hate everything and everyone,” the girl sneers. Hatred, despair, envy, bloodlust, pessimism, compassion, persistence and anxiety—burdened with all manner of negative emotion, she mutters to herself…. “I want to be happy.”
 
With his parents moving to America for work, Jinno Kyoji returns to his hometown, Kurehito City, after several years of absence to live with his mother's cousin, the free-spirited Saitama Yamiko. There, he encounters several girls he shares a history with.

Kazuyagi Akane, the strong-spirited tomboy he grew up with.
Namiki Aoi, a gloomy girl who's Akane's best friend.
Misono Kiika, a graceful, good-natured classmate of his from his old school.

In three years of absence, his hometown and its people have changed ever so slightly. Despite some hiccups, Kyoji's peaceful days in his hometown begin.

At least until he meets a mysterious girl on his way to his first day at school. Violet hair. Large, striking eyes. Skin that's paler than the driven snow.

"Welcome home," she says. "My name is Yuka. Remember it."

And wherever Yuka is, one mysterious, inexplicable figure is always nearby—a monstrous man by the name of Gore Screaming Show.
Kyoji's encounter with these two figures marks the end of his peaceful days—as they bring chaos, violence, madness and despair into this world.

Will Kyoji and the girl he loves be able to escape the madness and return to their peaceful days? Or will they—

Well, on topic now. What ruins characters for me is when they never grow beyond their only trait (like a tsundere that being a tsundere is her entire personality).
What ruins the plot I think it's fake black and white morality. The heroes does a lot of questionable things and no one bats an eye. Worse yet, everyone sides with them like they were pure untainted saints. Meanwhile, the villains are treated as scum of the earth that always have bad intentions and then they give us a flashback just to show us they were always soooooo evil, mwahahaha! It's not thaaaaaat common a thing, but when this does happens it pisses me off.

Contrary to what a lot of people try to claim, suppression of sexual content like this is always spurred by conservative thought. Fundamentalist christians are the biggest advocates for the suppression of sexual content, and said fundamentalists are at the heart of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, formerly Morality in Media. They rebranded in an attempt to appeal to leftist movements but that doesn't change who they really are. To try to claim that they are radical feminists is hilarious to me.
None of the leftists I know are happy with this news.

Gotta love the classic standards of "explicit violence is just fine, but depictions of our own unclothed bodies is sick and wrong"...

It's always been their unofficial policy, but it was inconsistently applied. This lead to various people, including some connected with MG, to bemoan publicly the inconsistent application of the rules. Well HOORAY FOR EVERYONE looks like they're getting consistent, I hope everybody is happy

Being one of the few people old enough to be around when these things were released, I played all of the above and by god did you get it right with Pro Lesring aka Ring Out. You're wrong, I remember it vividly (in a bad way.) That was the biggest pile of steaming shit I ever played. Since VNs were so few and far between and hard to get hold of, I even read the whole damn thing even though it was appalling. It predated my ability to allow myself to mash the ctrl key. I'm so ashamed.

I know some won't be picked, but i still won't stop doing my best to make them happen!
