Yukikoi Melt has been just released on Steam, and there's freeware +18 patch downloadable from JAST. Steam release seems to be dual-language (EN+JP) which is nice bonus

I find it very funny and interesting tbh really enjoying it so far .. The Characters are cute and great

Minamijuujisei Renka- Mitsuki is a researcher with a side in lolicon who dresses like a gyaru Natsukumo Yururu- Rine and Shiho Harumade Kururu- Shizuka and Narumi are both genki and odd types... if you don't mind a bit of mild psychopathy in the latter case World Election- Kururu is of this type. Chuuning Lover - Kanade has serious chuunibyou Kami-sama no you na Kimi e- Tsukuyomi Ore no Sugata ga, Toumei ni!? Invisible to Suuki na Unmei- Nayuri

An important thing to note is that not all VNs are of monstrous length (also worth noting that when reading in your native language VNs are substantially shorter, i.e. the Muv Luv trilogy is nowhere near 150 hours.) That said, reading through many VNs primarily occurs when you're a VN fan for a long time. For me personally, working a ~40 hour week and sleeping ~70 hours per week and spending ~30 hours per week on non work responsibilities still leaves nearly 30 hours every week for whatever I want to do (and if I were to spend even half of that on VNs then my list would certainly be in the hundreds by now.)

With that description, I can't think of a better character than Mika from Musicus!

I went on DMM last night to see if there were any particularly good deals on Leaf VNs for golden week only to find that they had pulled their entire catalog except for White Album 2. I thought maybe it was just expired licensing or something but then I went on Leaf’s website and their “games” section only lists White Album 2 and ToHeart 2. No mention of the missing games on Twitter or their website announcements. Do you think they’re trying to distance themselves from their eroge past? Kinda seems that way to me.
