  2. where did you find Tsui no sora? I cant find a way to read it without buying subahibi 10th anniversary edition
  3. I recently saw that Tsui no sora remake is fully translated and stuff and I went to try and find the VN but idk where to get it. Please don't tell me that I need to buy the subahibi anniversary thing. I know that nobody here actually has bought that to read it. I'm confused on how people are supposed to read the translation if the VN is literally nowhere on the internet. (also I don't wanna use nyaa to torrent it because I don't wanna get an ISP warning)
  4. I am using a Mac and Linux computer but I don't wanna change my locale because I don't know how it will mess up my computer. I figured out that I can view the files if I use a locale emulator on PC (I tested it on a library computer, not my own) but I don't know how to get a locale emulator for Mac.
  5. The game will almost certainly crash if you do it the way you described. It would probably be a better idea to 1) extract both scripts, the original Japanese script and the English remake 2) MTL the original Japanese, and then 3) replace the original MTL'd lines with the lines extracted from the newer release one line at a time manually. Otherwise you are asking for problems. If you need help doing 1 or 2, I can help out, but #3 is a fully manual process.
  6. I know this thread is really old, but in case anyone with similar issues is still reading it: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai https://vndb.org/v14265 and Gin'iro, Haruka https://vndb.org/v18778 are both pretty darn solid pure love slice of life stories. Some drama occurs in both, but nothing crazy, and they're a pretty good distraction and uplifting read really. Fair warning, they are long, even taking me around 55 hours each.
  7. A few questions: Is it the PC version? If so, did you set you system locale and region format to Japan and Japanese format? (This is required for a lot of JVNs, and it can be done by using the search bar to look for the control panel and clicking on 'region') If it is the console version, I can't help.
  8. I think im getting ahead of myself but i have a dumb idea for muv luv supplement and thats extracting the text from the remake shoving it into a txt folder format it so its in lines in a txt folder via either a java or python program then put it into the 2004 or was it 2003 release of muv luv supplement gut any text thats not supposed to be in there and hope it works then edit any issues which should save me a shit ton of time and then i translate whats left over to do. and if i cant figure out how the texts work imma take the lazy sack route and just type the remakes translation line by line into the 2000 release cause im a loser who doesn't want to read moon runes and translate it until it comes to what i want. and then when it comes to Schwarzesmarken I gotta translate it myself
  9. subahibi is peak. I always need help with tech issues and love 2000s aethsthetic for vns but I can never find just the right one to satisfy me. I love ciel
  10. How do I get To heart 2 working in english? I know theres an english patch but the game is broken for me.
  11. I've seen some old posts on Twitter about some visual novels coming with bonus content for flip phones and stuff so I was wondering where I could find this content. I also wanna know where I can find some anime desktop apps (omake clocks, note apps, calendars, etc.) because I saw in a VN artbook that some came with them. I have only really been able to find Lucky star desktop apps and ukugakas on archive.org but IDK where to find any other ones. Can anyone plz help? I need VN desktop apps in my life.
  12. I recently installed chaos head off the game disc and tried to read some of the game files and they all had garbled text. IDK what the issue is because I have JP fonts installed and I have no clue how to open it with locale emulator. I've looked online but I still haven't found a helpful answer for my issue. I also tried getting some desktop accessories to work for a visual novel and they have instructions that are all in garbled text. I understand its because my computer doesn't have the JP fonts and it uses UTF-8 but could anyone help me? The files I wanna read are .txt and there are some that are a .html file. Example of text: @擾\ : s

  14. So I'll cut to the point, I've been wondering if there are any adult 18+ visual novels and/or eroge where the player is female and a pegger with male bottom characters? I've been looking for these type of adult Otome games but the only adult Otome games I can find are ones with the woman as a bottom and honestly if I wanted to play that I would just stick to regular hentai, I don't see the point in those to be honest. So if anyone knows of any good adult visual novels and/or eroge that involves a pegging female player and a submissive bottom male character I would be very appreciative.
  15. Any visual novel, including untranslated novels, will do. Thanks a million times in advance!
  16. Do you still have the .p2t tools? I'v searched all over that russian site you sent but couldn't find the tools, I could really use them for my current project on another game.
  17. Last week
  18. it had translated images in the plugin file im just trying to figure out how the hell can i shove em back in
  19. Did the original patch for Muv-Luv Altered Fable include altered images or did they only translate the dialogue?
  20. Visual Novel Translation Status (05/05/2024) Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I'll tell it in PS later. As for this week, let's just say it's another very interesting one, thanks to both Aoi Tori and Mashiro Iro release. Other than those two, there are several other releases, although those are not as interesting as those two. Obviously we still have some updates, with the notable one is Amanatsu exact release date announcement. Oh yes, we also have PQube announce an otome VN, and unlike Aksys they also announce the Steam version of it. Anyway, let's see what I can write in regard of this week, and while I know Mangagamer just has updates I'll save the talk for the next time. Speaking of otome VN, we have Tsuki no Onna released with the premise big breasted female MC who find herself befriended a serial killer and soon have a blossoming romance, although it also help the female MC herself has some big issue as well. Another thing to note is that the VN has sex scenes, so feel free to get Tsuki no Onna if you want to play otome VN with sex scenes. For the otome VN that PQube announced, it's Gensou Manege. For the premise, it's about the female MC Emma who attracted to the music from the traveling amusement park find herself working at the park, and from there eventually she'll find the key to unlock her lost magic and memories. No release date yet, but at least we know it'll be available on both Steam (ie PC) and Switch. Idea Factory reveal the exact release date for Cupid Parasite FD, and said date will be on 28th later. Kagura Games was announced two VNs, Angel Tear and Forsaken Quartet, with both of those are more or less nukige. For Angel Tear, it's about the girl who can become the titular magical girl Angel Tear with her must endure a lot of rape in order to save the world, and the reason is because her enemies decided to corrupt all male to rape Angel Tear. So yeah, this is more or less magical girl nukige, which in a way resemble Dead Aegis except without being raped to get the power part. For Forsaken Quartet, it's about two male and two female who live in the floating island after the all of the other human extinct. At first their live goes well, although obviously sooner or later it'll go spiraling downward with one of the possible happening is NTR. For the release date, we only have one for Forsaken Quartet with the exact release date will be on 18th later. Speaking of nukige, Sekai also released one (Kurikuri Click) which turned out to be the first part of the trilogy. Rattan Man released the partial patch for Taima Seiko Alice that has translated 35% of the game, so feel free to try if you're curious. Other than that, we have ChuSingura is at 43.61% translated with Chapter 2 is at around 84.16% translated, Shin Koihime Musou is at 71% edited, Akagoei 3 is at 66.21% edited, and Ushieta is at 60.1% translated with Nagisa's route is at 73.5% translated. Shiravune did release Taimanin Yukikaze, and no much to say it's redundant release along with it has new translation. For the premise, it's about Yukikaze who is tasked to infiltrate the stronghold of the bad guy, and of course being nukige normally Yukikaze was at first forced to act as the prostitute before finding herself lost in pleasure. We also have them announced Amanatsu exact release date, with said date is 17th later. For the bigger Shiravune release, obviously it's Mashiro Iro along with Sana Edition. For Sana Edition itself, it's the fandisc like game with it has common route and the remake of Sana's route that initially available in PSP route (Palette also add sex scenes for Sana which is not available in PSP for obvious reason). For Mashiro Iro, it's about Shingo who has his school is about to be merged with the all girl school, only to find the rejection from the principal's daughter herself, Airi. Seeing the challenge, Shingo tried his best to understand and persuade Airi in order to let the merge through, and ultimately he manage to do so. Mashiro Iro has Tsubasu's art, so obviously it's quite good looking, and the anime art itself is also good looking courtesy of Kawamura Toshie who work on the anime art. Go get Mashiro Iro if you want some light charage and maybe Sana Edition if you like Sana (Which too bad that Palette sold them separately instead of just add Sana's route in the main game itself like PSP version), and have fun. Last but not the least, we have Nekonyan released Aoi Tori. Granted there's several strings attached, such as Purple Software pressuring Nekonyan to release it in April at most (Which indirectly answer why they work with multiple publishers) and Steam rejected the build (Not banned), but in the end the release is still the release (I'll write about Steam release if the reviewer accept it). For the VN itself, we have Ritsu who is abandoned in the all girl academy inside remote mountain and worked as priest. He also has superpower, and his power is to give the blessing to the receiver with sex is the most potent way to get the blessing, so naturally he's nothing more than gigolo who have sex with more than one female. One day after he gave the blessing to the two students, he was called by the devil who inform there's some disturbance. From there, his life which is quite monotone has start to change. Go get Aoi Tori from either JAST, Mangagamer, Denpasoft, or Kagura Games if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - For the title, because we have Aoi Tori and Mashiro Iro release, I decide to make a parody of Hibike Euphonium movie, Liz and the Blue Bird (TL Note: Aoi Tori mean Blue Bird), with I changed 'Liz' into 'Miu'. To elaborate, Miu is the canon heroine for Mashiro Iro anime, and since we have Nozomi in Liz and the Blue Bird with anime Shingo resemble YPC5 Coco's human form (Because Kawamura is also work on YPC5 anime art), I chose Miu to make parallel of Coco chose Nozomi as his wife in Otona Precure ending.
  21. Been of the Mind, lately... to Return to where it All Began, - with Me and Anime Character Dolls - Twenty-some years ago... and Do it All Better this time Around. Where i had the Trio of Ambitious-yet-Clumsy TOYNAMI 12in. "Tenchi Muyo!" Dolls two decades ago... i now have the equally-short-lived Juraiian Princess Sister-Pair of TAKARA Jenny/Licca-sized Dolls that Came and Went just about as swiftly sometime around the middle of the 1990's. Ayeka Jurai (TOYNAMI 12in.) was my First Anime Doll... and the one that compelled me to pick up hand sewing as a skilled hobby. Sasami Jurai is an Adorable little Cupcake♥ that never existed within the early-2000's TOYNAMI Doll lineup... and a Sweetie i've come to appreciate much more with time~ https://tenchi.fandom.com/wiki/Ayeka https://tenchi.fandom.com/wiki/Sasami (TOYNAMI Tenchi Muyo! 12in. 22. Got RioX working just had to beat my windows operating system to death in order to be logically set to Jap Locale and now RioX works. I Shall now insert images and maybe make shitposts out of extracted images. if i can figure out how of course.
  23. The best answer I can think of for you would be Tokyo Necro https://vndb.org/v13666. Dual protagonists (one female, one male, all love interests for both are female) and another Nitro Plus game like Saya. A rom-com / slice of life that might be worth trying out if you're REALLY looking to stretch your boundaries would be Sugar * Style https://vndb.org/v24320 it takes place in college, with the youngest love interest being an 18 year old freshman if I remember right...sorry if I don't. And the obvious answer if you enjoyed Huniepop would be Huniepop 2.
  24. Greetings everyone! Previous week was ridiculous! Due to help of our testing group we were able to find several issues that we’d never even thought about since we’ve been working with Project Genome for so long. They were symbols and markings that show certain places on the map, and that indicate some rare effects during battles. The thing is they were pretty much invisible but not for us. Two heads are better than one indeed! We’ve also been fixing some translations problems here and there. You know, missing words/phrases and extra symbols, that kind of stuff. That amount of text and features the first episode has makes it very easy to break in random places. We changed that map icons at the start, text in the end disappeared. That’s why we have to recheck everything right after we make changes… at least we do that after a huge chunk of changes which saves a lot of time. P.S. You’d never guess what one of our testers said about the timeline that’s on the top of the thumbnail screenshot. Check Early Combat Gameplay! We’ve launched the Steam page for Project Genome.
