Ye, lots of them charamoeges have "true heroines" (I like to call them "poster heroines") and Akane definitely fits the bill for this one :wafuu:

@TexasDice I also got what you meant by your comment about the VN being "small talk -> exposition dump -> next scene" now.

It flows, but it's... not very entertaining. Hence why we're all agreeing that reading this gets better the further you get along (character routes > common route)

I'm starting Akane's route now... finally.

e: Ya, it's been too long since I've read these types of stories... I'm actually finding it quite endearing how Akane is playing the lovestruck avoidance game >.>
All that training to harden Akane and help manage her emotions / douryoku -> blows up as soon as she gives Seiichi a handshake... :miyako:

really?  really this has got to be one of the stupidest visual novels ever!  His power is so stupid!  AWFUL!  AWFUL!  AWFUL!  This VN is a big fat fail!  I do not even think I can stand to play it now after that.  The authors of this game should be shot for stupidity!

That is a part of the common route, however it is a point in the story where you can start to trigger flags and begin moving into small parts of the routes.

Once you are in the actual routes you will see it though. (Save, then try to load. You will see the heroine's face on the save slot, instead of just the normal weapon that is displayed there.)

The common route is pretty long.

Common route ends after the tournament, so you're about halfway I believe.

Akane is doing a pretty good job contending with Touko in the H-department. They're both really cute in couple mode; Touko completely opens up to you, because she wants to be spoiled (gap moe, hnng) and Akane because she earnestly tries her hardest to make you happy with all of her effort.

I honestly like how Akane's H fits into theme of fire being a tied to ones emotions, since it's a living and breathing element. It just makes sense.

 

Can't talk about more than porn as of right now, only got a few minutes of reading time in today.

What is his power? :P At this point I'm sure I will never read this, so spoil me every stupid thing, I like a good laugh from vn stupidity. :D

So everybody has their own special power and levels based on their inner energy called "douryoku"

Akane- Fire, SC rank

Touko- Ice, SA rank

Yves- Life, SS rank

etc.

And the protagonist is...

N/A, SSS rank

No power on his own, but he powers up other people's douryoku. ie. touches Akane and she goes from SC to SA rank

And his amplify powers are stronger the more intimate contact he has with people. So sex = god. :lol:

The reason she is angry is because she wanted him to peek. :sacchan:

She first went in, found out it was empty and came out again just to tell him. She was basically trying to get him to take a hint, but he was being a bit too nice and didn't get that.

Cute scene :P

 

The reason she loses her power is different. She didn't really lose her power, but was simply not training as much and ended up getting a bit out of practice, which meant she wasn't able to wield her sword correctly.
