I backed it too.. 25k in the first day is great. BTW, the video is excellent, it's a great insight into how a VN is created. Though I didn't know there was subtitles!! They didn't turn on automatically.

I'm almost done, I finished Sakaki's route last night in between other things, so I'm just down to Sachin's. If I had to describe Amane's route, I'd say it was a well-written absurdity. In fact, I'd say the dialogue between Amane and Kazuki might be the best exchange between two characters in the entire visual novel. But in choosing a circumstance that could actually have the best chance of happening but having it in such a modern time period, it just makes it hard for me to buy into it. Probably because it brings an element that was completely under control of the outside world and it was played out in a way that just doesn't make sense for a modern age, high-tech, high-intelligence society like Japan. Kazuki made this game for me. I thought it was intense from the beginning of her story, great writing, just awesome. I do agree with you though, I think I just put it at the back of my mind and ignored it on purpose, but in this day and age the situation is absurd.

Ok. I never played the originals, but I do know that many gamers are very fond of them. I am very interested to see more details about it.

Imported a vehicle from Japan. I need to hook up some speakers because someone stole them while at the docks. The actual speakers were removed from the door and placed in the boot before the vehicle was shipped. So I can see 2 wires which I assume are the speaker wires, but it's obviously marked in Japanese. Dropping a game just because you are to lazy to hold Ctrl for 30min-1h at most really shows how little you appreciate a VN. Not to mention that you can just stuck button with something too. You serious, that's a long ass time to hold a button.. Not worth it.

I agree! The best route is Amane's, because.. I actually like that Yuuji doesn't change, and he's not a dumb ass protag.

I have no idea, but definitely something that's Japanese. Probably the majority can't read in Japanese, so why not experience something that we probably won't ever be able to otherwise. Plus a live translation would be cool to see.
